 Lucus lounged in his seat at his desk, feet propped up on his desk, his eyes closed. He was obviously pretending to be oblivious to the world as Akita sat by idly watching Devri take books off shelves to build a make shift mini house for himself.
"THIS WILL BE MY PALACE!" Devri proclaimed loudly, Lucus not even budging, just simply reply something along the lines of "if you say so kid."
Akita laughed softly, "I do hope you know Devri that YOU will be the one putting each and every one of these away."
Devri stopped in his tracks and dropped the book he had in his hands, "For serious?"

Lance walked by nonchalantly next to Devri, looking at him and then at his large pile of books,
poorly shaped to look like a house. He says nothing and just reaches for one of the books in the pile to take it out and look at it.
"Hm... Physics. I could use this." Unintentionally, taking just that one book out caused the book house to tumble over like dominoes.
Suddenly, there's a knock at the door, but before anyone could open it, a desperate looking Noct bursts in,
tripping over his own feet and stumbling onto the floor,
holding tightly onto his research papers as if it were a child.
"Oh! Excuse me!" He scrambles up onto his feet as his faded blonde hair keeps him from seeing where he's going.

Lucus grumbled at the sound of the collapsing books and opened his eyes to catch sight of the intruding noct. "And who may I ask so rudely barges into my study?" He raised a brow as he questioned the blond.
Akita brushed her hair out of her face, keeping a close eye on Devri and Lance. "Play nice you two. Even if that's not possible."
Growling Devri kicked the books, "Great nimrod. Look what you did. All my hard work, gone. Kaput! Thanks. Was that book really that important?"

Lance keeps his focus on the book, not looking at Devri once while he plants his nose into its pages. "Study, study, study." After whispering to himself, sifting through the book with his eyes, Lance looks over at Devri with a stern look. "Yes. You would have had to pick them up anyway. It would have been better for you to make a fort out of pillows and blankets." Lance looks over to the visitor in the room who's stumbling over himself and decides to go jump up on Lucus' lap to read.
"I apologize!" The Noct tries to gather himself before confronting Lucus appropriately at his desk, standing in front of it like a customer at a job interview. He tries to be polite and bows, mass of papers still in his arms, it's hard for him to push his hair out of his face now. "I, uh. Oh no." The Noct looks through the papers to try and find a certain page to present, yet it seems to be missing from the pile.

Lucus yawned and reached out a hand to pet Lance on the head his eyes locked on the visitor, "You still never told me whom you are. Do you know know your respects? You are in the presence of-"
Akita cut Lucus off with the sharp remark "Of a Royal who talks too much for his own good sometimes."
Lucus hissed at Akita "Silence! Go find that overgrown german goat or something."
Akita rolled her eyes, "He's not interested in me. Besides the two boys will mame one another without multiple pairs of eyes on them."
Devri huffed. "I'd be just fine if Lance was locked in a closet or something!"
Lucus gave a gruff sound and turned his attention back to the intruder, "What do you want?"

The golden haired Noct looks towards Devri and winces just a little bit, mumbling under his breath, not taking to his anger very well. His eyebrows stay ruffled as they usually are in a more worried position. He uses this time to sort out his documents and place them under a clipboard to keep them steady. "I'm sorry... I'm Abs-... Cameron Tamaki. Scientist in biology, anatomy, surgery; doctor, I work in medicine and research...Oh, uh..." Already, Cameron seems uncomfortable in the room with Lucus' already agitated attitude and the rest of the mess dwelling within the room. "I asked several of where your current location was, but neither of them knew. I sought out your current residence for myself, which I have found it seems, but I have stumbled into the door which made my appearance seem rather rude and surprising. Speaking of the door, the bolts are a tad bit loose. Perhaps if you tighten them a little bit with a wrench... I-I mean...pleased to meet you finally."

Devri grinned a devious smirk, "I'll fix it!"
Akita scoffed, "If you think I'm letting you touch tools child you're out of your mind. The proper people will be notified and they will do their duties to fix it."
Devri frowned, "You're one too talk duty-less! You can't even find a mate!"
Akita hissed standing up and looming over Devri "Would you care to repeat?"
"No ma'am." Devri cringed.
Lucus sighed "Would you two shut up?" He turned his attention to Cameron. "Cameron Tamaki? Pleasure to meet you now that you have introduced yourself. What is it that brings you here? Are you looking for a place to do your research? Or are you looking for funds?"

"Funds!" Cameron exclaims rather loudly, but covers it up with a hand to his mouth. "NO! I do not ask for funds! Money. Money is cruel, it has no heart. It does bad things to people." Again, he looks through his clipboard to see if the paper that he were searching for originally was still there, but grits his teeth at not being able to find it, an awfully worried look overcoming his face. "Yes, a place would be nice...but, if I wouldnt have lost this document, you see, I would have been able to present it properly."
Lance laughs a little bit to himself at Devri and Akita's silly argument and leans himself over to put the book down on Lucus' desk after making a bookmark for himself and neatly placing it within the pages. He doesnt do much else now but snuggle on Lucus like an animal ready to sleep.
If there werent enough people in the room, Vempyremon runs into the room and stumbles over Devri's fallen book house. She topples on the ground with an "oof" but doesnt think much of it before getting back up and glancing around at everyone. "Hey! Akita, you just missed Kain!"

Completely forgetting about her argument with Devri Akita's ears perked up "K-Kain was here?!"
Devri rolled his eyes, "She's like a little school girl."
"Money is a source of corruption. It leads all to darkness and greed. Just look that the humans. A place for study and research could be provided with a proper proposal which you can't seem to find at the moment. In that case. Speak, forget paper. Many a great civilizations relied on word of mouth so speak. Do not hold your tongue on important words such as this." Lucus pat Lance on the head softly, "At least one person here behaves. And, welcome Vemp dearest, are you alright?"

"Ahh...These books." Vempyremon doesnt sit herself up all the way, instead she just sits on the ground and looks around at the mass of books, then at Devri, knowing he's the only one that could have made such a mess. "Yeah...A bit." Vempyremon scratches a little bit at her head, then at her knee which hurt now from tripping, looking over at Akita and nodding slightly in response. "Yeah...He was. He even asked if I knew where you were. After I told him no, he tried to pin me to a wall and kiss me...And, uh, yeah. I hope he doesnt hate me now for me having to punt him in the groin."
Cameron winces at the liveliness in the room and stands back a little bit with his clipboard and other folders held against his chest tightly, protecting it as he usually does. "Ah...ah, no. Maybe this isnt a great time to be...holding a conversation when there's family matters to attend to..."

Lucus rolled his eyes and say proper at his desk making sure Lance didn't fall off of him, "This is how it usually is here since the birth of these two trouble starters. Any other time will be no different." He glanced at Vemp for a moment and smiled softly' "I'll see to you in a second love."
Devri groaned, "Ewww, daddy is being icky."
Akita's ear flicked back unintentionally in annoyance at hearing of Kain's actions, "He won't change. It's impossible. He has no need to see me. And.." She cringed at hearing what Vemp had done, "But.. You really shouldn't hurt him there.. That area.. might be required one day."

Though, she tries to hold it in, she cant. Vempyremon laughs outloud with a loud "HAHA!", but quickly covers her mouth with smaller giggles. "...WHAT? I've kicked him so many times there, you would have lost count too. Somehow, he still seems to keep going..." She stands up, stretching out the sore leg with a pop. She winces, but seems fine otherwise. "Dont say that. You're assertive. Be assertive with him. He likes it. I keep fighting back and it urges him to keep trying. Ya see?" Vempyremon makes her way over towards Lucus, but not without thwomping Devri on the head with her tail first.
Cameron still seems unsure about the whole thing, his mouth openly slightly from being pretty much speechless in response to the wild house party. He's never been around so much action, or around so many beings at the same time. It frightened him, which is why he suggested to come back another time. "Oh...Yes, they are cute children. But perhaps I should leave for the time being until my presence is requested this time."

Akita tried to hide a soft sigh as she turned away, "Well it matters not, he's gone now anyways is he not?" She bit her lip softly truthfully wishing she'd have gotten to see him. She gave a hard and heavy breath and slumped forwards, "Geeze! Why am I so head over heels for that big oaf!"
Devri swayed his tail in ill-intent "Cuz you like big ugly old ogres."
Lucus nodded slightly, "If you wish. Just let me know when you are prepared in properly order and we will make the respectful arrangements needed to see the discussion through in privet without interruption."

Cameron looked at the two in front of him, they were both looking at him intently and awaiting his response. A cold sweat seemed to have appeared on his face from the most social activity that he's gotten in years. Lance didnt count, because he was trying to sleep. "I...I...Yes, sir. When the time comes..." Quickly, Cameron takes his leave out of the room, avoiding the books, trying to make his exit as quickly as possible.
As Cameron exited, Vempyremon gave him a weird look as if she almost felt sorry for the scared, little guy. But then again, she was a little peeved at Akita at the same time for not stepping up. "Oh come on... Oh...wait, that reminds me." She quickly handed Akita a letter that she had been holding in her hand. It was from Kain. And it showed it in fancy, blue pen writing. One would expect for it to be to Vempyremon, but it was to Akita. And it said so on the front.

Lucus gave a long yawn once the blond had left the room and he slouched in his chair again, "I am exhausted.. Devri. Clean these books up this instance before we have another accident in here child."
Devri grumbled at his father's words and hesitantly did as he was told.
Akita took the letter carefully examining it, "From Kain..? To me..?" With a claw she carefully unsealed it and began to read over it.
