Appearance Raine has a rather athletic build due to the freerunning and working out she does in her spare time. Her slim figure, however, is usually hidden by the baggy clothing she wears most of the time.

Oddities She has three rather noticeable scars on her body. The first is a jagged diagonal line on her back from falling down and catching herself on a barbed-wire fence. The second is just above her right eyebrow from a fight she got into as a kid from a rock being thrown at her (she'll always swear up and down that she got it from a knife fight). The third one is on her stomach from getting surgery (the story constantly changes with that specific scar if it's asked about).

History Born originally in Vladivostok, Russia, Raine was one who was different from most girls her age. As a child, she grew up an orphan on the streets and though life was hard on her, she got by and with an optimistic view on life. Despite the fact that she was a girl, she could be seen playing rough with the other boys, and when she would start getting beaten up during the more rougher games they played, she could be seen getting back up and showing them that she could do just as good as any boy could do. As she grew into her pre-teen years, she began to long to see different places other than her own broken down slum of a home, so one day, she began to set out and look for a new place to call home.
It was then she began her life on the road and two years after her thirteenth birthday, she ended up in London, England, a city that she instantly fell in love with. Though it was hard to pick up on the English language they used, she pushed herself to learn how to communicate with many of the people there. However, her luck soon changed for the better when one day on the seventeenth year of her life, she was walking and saw a rather rich couple moseying along. Deciding to pick them out as her next victim, she snatched the purse of the woman and began to run, a nearby male running after her when he saw what happened. The chase held up for about a good hour due to the fact that she would lose him, then get seen again before finally being caught by her. Though instead of trying to turn her in, he merely complimented her for her free-running skills (she never really knew that what she did had a name, she merely knew to run and use routes that were deemed dangerous in order to get away), in which a friendship was formed and she was taught by him how to speak English and play guitar as well.
It was around the time that she had a job as a local running courier that she received the invitation to come to Grove Academy. When approaced about her skills as a courier, the woman that gave her the invitation merely told her "This is a letter that needs to be delivered, read the name and figure out who it goes to." When she realized it was her own name, she looked up and tried to ask if it was a joke, but the woman was gone before she could say anything. Opening the letter, she read it's contents and found one plane ticket inside. For a while she was skeptical about the whole ordeal, but after thinking things through and saying her goodbyes, she packed her things and began to head out for a new life at her new Academy.
Personality Raine is a very happy-go-lucky person. Slow to anger and quick to befriend, Raine is a good person to have on your side, especially during a fight. However, if you're unfortunate to get on her bad side, then don't expect her to be so nice to you, because she's quick to show her enemies why the ground suits them.

Weaknesses Not one to think before she acts, Raine is also a person who ignores any risks in a decision and lunges head-first into situations without much of a second thought. Also, she's slightly Red-Green color blind.
