I'm making a floppy bow out of this black and red plaid cloth for my punk lolita ensemble for my school's fashion show this year. Is it acceptable or should I have gone with a tie?
Also, what kind of socks/stockings should I add to it? Is it alright to wear a mini-top hat, too?
EDIT: The bow's a neck-bow. I'm planning to put lots of safety pins and chains on it.

Is the bow for your neck (like a tie) or for your head?

^thats what i was thinking xD if its for your head, it mores more acceptable than for your neck. and size matters a lot. if its huge, than its probably for your head, however, you still get a "wtf?" but it is fashion afterall. if you want to get an impression of high fashion, yes, do with your hearts desire because id say yes to all xD MINI TOP HAT!! = YESS!! lol i dont know why i freak out when it comes to miniature hats, but go with that xD and the hat/tie thing should be put more for what your trying to get across. if theres anything ive learned from janice dickenson you "gotta work it b***h" lol. stockings should go for the black and red. ensembles should go hand in hand. hands-shoes, hats-socks-scarves, layer-layer. lolol *is shot for in-masculinity... xD

Whoops, my bad. xD I'm talking about a neck-bow. I was hoping that it wasnt' too sweet-loli. I'm planning to attack it with safety pins if it's not punk-ish enough.
