Story:
At the stroke of Midnight the Hell Correspondence website becomes available in which someone can type in the name of the one who torments them. Ai Enma, also known as Hell Girl, will then come to them and punish their tormentor, but of course for a price. Ai gives them a chance to re-think their decision by giving her summoner/client a black straw doll. The client then is warned that if they pull the red string off, it shows the contract is complete and Ai will furry their tormentor to hell after punishing them. However the price is that when they too die, they will also go to hell.
Rate/Comment:
Hell girl isn't bad. It has something that keeps me watching but it's not amazing either. The anime starts out a bit slow with short stories and then finally develops at episode 4 or 5 I believe. I've heard it's kind of like death note in the story sense that if you hold a grudge you can call upon something to kill whoever you hate.
