Well, he is a man in this societal melting pot called the U.S. And by melting pot I really just wanted to use "trash heap." Don't ask me why I wanted to say that.

He's not full of himself, he's a Philosopher and has to stick with his beliefs in order to sift out the people in his life whom he believes aren't worth a damn.

He kind of reminds me of the Joker. If you listen to him, truly listen to him, you'll be free of societal norms and opiates of the masses. People with outrageous philosophies are very fun to read or listen to.
