Glossary:
Pet means Kattie/Kowla/Drazin/etc

Breeding Basics:
As we all know, love tends to make babies. Be it love between man and woman, woman and woman or man and man, love here may also make babies. Currently, love between seperate species cannot make babies but may be available in the future.
~ A pet must be an adult. Exceptions may be given to permie teens older than 6 weeks. Permie babies may not be bred.
~ A breeding may birth between 1-4 kits. A Mother may only breed again after two weeks after the birth of her litter. Heavily RPed couples may produce up to 10 kits!
~ A Mother may be male. Males here are magical and can carry children!
~ If both parents are owned by one person, or one owner does not want the offspring, the owner wanting them will get all kits. Kit may be kept, or adopted out through a special in-guild rehoming FlatSale/Flaffle/Auction.
~~ You may only rehome up to half of the born kits and are still subject to the breeding fees.
~~ If you still wish to rehome more than half of your kits, the rest may be re-homed during RP, or once they are two weeks old.
~~ Rehoming FS/FL/Auction will happen in the guild. Fee/Starting price/etc is up to the owner.
~~ Owner will get 70% of the sales. The breeder gets 20% and the shop gets the remaining 10%. Babies must be at least four days old. {10k=7/2/1}
~~ If the other knows of an owner that would like a kit and wish to bypass the selling, the owner may request it to be rehomed free of charge.
~ Permission from both owners for a breeding is required. Detailed RP isn't required, but the form and fees is. If a pet is owned by a Human, Human permission is not required.
~ To be considered as RP, at least two completed RP sessions between the love birds must be included. As a further incentive, those who submit at least 10 may earn a special kit!
~ A 'completed' RP consists of either some sort of 'conclusion' or a minimum of 10 posts per RP.
~ Once the Mother has been bred, you must RP accordingly. The cert will also be updated.
~ To qualify as 'heavily RPed', at least 50 completed RPs must be submitted.
~ Pregnancies generally last 3-5 weeks for normal births. Angel/Demon births generally last between 8-12 weeks.
~ Breeding with special event pets is allowed unless otherwise noted.
~ When breeding a pet that has edits such as different wings/hair/fur/jewelry/etc carrying over these such edits may be possible depending upon your chosen colorist. See their Bio/Breeding thread for more details.
~ A Mother that has given birth more than 3 times may begin birthing less and less children each time. This happens occasionally and varies per Mother.
~ Litter may contain Twins/+ plus normal babies. Owner must mention if wishing to try for this as well.
Specials:
Throwbacks - For those that are beyond their Third Generation and/or have sisters/brothers. When ordering a litter, be sure to post images of those in the pets' family history on either/both sides for a possible throwback. This does not guarantee, but it may!
Twins - Twins may also be possible! These are only possible for RPers, however. Include an additional 2-3 RP sessions with any species, and a special die will be rolled.
Triplets/+ - Highly highly rare and only possible under the best circumstances with an extra special ceremony! A Mother carrying triplets or more may become extremely ill so extra special care must be taken! Falls under the 'Twin' rolls.
Fraternals - These are children that look almost identical and are also possible under Twins/Triplets/+. These may not be rolled for and shall show occasionally.
Angels/Demons - For those that have gone above and beyond and have earned their Angel/Demon form, these may also breed between mortals and their immortals themselves. They may even have an 'immaculate' conception that will require no parent at all. Be aware, that the kits born from them will most likely be mortal. A pairing may also bless the Mother to have traits more like one of them. This is done during a special ceremony that must be RPed. Guidelines will be posted if/when this happens.
Studs - Don't have a second parent, but wish for one? If a stud is available, owners/pets are welcomed to entice it! Some studs may be enticed by cash, kits, or other fancy things. Pairings that use studs will produce up to 3/4 of a possible litter. (6 kits = 4/5 kits) More possible under Angels/Demons & throwbacks. Additional RP posts not required.
Breeding Fees:
The basic roll costs 10k.
~ A breeding between a non-stud pair, with no specials.
Roll with a throwback costs 12k
Roll with possible twins costs 15k. For two chances, 16k. Meaning, if first roll does not say 'twins', a second roll will be done.
Angels/Demons costs 50k
Studs vary on the stud fee + 10k breeding fee.
~ Produces 1/2 of a possible litter. (6 kits = 3 kits) More possible under Angels/Demons & throwbacks.
Wishing for more kits than your roll gave you? You may choose to 'Roll again' and your high number will be kept. A small 2k fee for playing with destiny will be required.
