User Image Louisa had loads of time before class started, she wasn't usually late and so she had the time to linger about and meet up with people if she wanted, though usually she would just either see Bree or go straight to class. She wasn't overly bothered about other people and she didn't exactly have many friends.

Today though she was lingering around her locker, she couldn't remember for the life of her what classes she had today. She knew a couple of them but not the others. How odd, she rarely forgot. Oh well she could always come back to her locker after class if she remembered. She nodded at her decision and closed her locker, time to head to class...

No wait, she had forgotten something. Maths, why did she forget maths? She actually enjoyed that subject. She shook her head, apparently at nothing and opened her locker again. Right maths book. She put it in her bag along with a couple of other things, including a calculator. She also put some food in her bag, she normally left it in her locker till lunch time but she was feeling peckish this morning, it wasn't something she normally did but whats the harm in snacking once in a while?

Yet another off day. Karmi rushed through the hallways as she hurried towards her first class of the day. Fighting through the crowd in the hallways, she made it carefully towards her locker, panting to catch her breath. Normally, a run like the one she had in the early morning would be fun, but today she was actually running behind her set schedule.

Shuffling in her locker, she managed to dig deep until she felt her science book in her hand. "Found you!" she exclaimed, taking hold of the book. Pulling it gently, she smiled and slammed her locker shut. Happily, she moved quickly towards her class. She could still make it!

Putting so much effort into smiling, she shut here eyes for a mere moment. Opening them quickly she didn't have enough time to stop. BAM! She had run straight into someone! With full force, shell fell backwards but caught herself quickly. "I'm sorry!" was all she could muster out.

Louisa had managed to get some food, shut her locker and start walking to class when she was suddenly pushed over. She hit the floor and turned to look around confused and slightly shocked at what had happened. She saw the girl though and she was apologizing, so must have been an accident.

"It's okay." She smiled as she heaved herself off the floor and put her luckily still wrapped chocolate bar in her bag. She wouldn't have been happy if she had lost that!

"I am Louisa, I don't think we have met before?" There were so many people at school Louisa wondered sometimes if it were even possible to get to know everyone or if it was just one of those things where you see someone and you recognize them but you can't remember for the life of you what their name was. This time though Louisa was sure she hadn't met this girl at least she hoped so or she would now look really stupid.

Breathing heavily Karmi looked at the girl. Had she ever spoken to her before? She wasn't sure. A lot of the time she would look through crowds and see them as comforts rather than individuals. She hated herself for it, and went on to introduce herself.

"I don't think we have. I'm Karmi." she said with a small smile.

From the look of the girl she could tell she had a kind heart. Seeing such warmth in others always made Karmi feel peaceful. It was something she always searched for when it came to finding friends. Nodding her head a little, she searched in her mind for the right words. Slowly, they found her.

"Didn't mean to bump you. Running late as well?" she said with a nervous laugh. At the moment, it was all she could find to relate with. I really hope this isn't a bad first impression. She thought, looking at Louisa hopefully.

"It's nice to meet you Karmi!" She spoke a little too enthusiastically but then she always did try to make a point of being as nice as possible.

"Yeah I forgot something." Well she hadn't really, she just wanted something to eat but she wasn't about to admit that. It might make her look greedy, eating food before class.

"What class are you heading too? We might be heading in the same direction?" No harm in a small chat on the way to class, she was late now anyway there was hardly a reason to rush. She would be in trouble either way, not that she liked getting in trouble but once you were in trouble, well she wasn't going to be getting out of it now!"

Karmi grinned and let out a giggle. This was the sort of interaction she'd been waiting for. "Well, I'm off to science right now." she said, "But I think I've already missed the early announcements. That's usually what I'm looking forward to anyways." She laughed again, then grinned sheepishly. "Still sorry for bumping you over. I'm not used to running so fast inside."

Glancing at her, she blinked a few times. "Are you in any sports by chance?" The hallway was now mainly clear, but Karmi didn't mind the stop to chat. In her mind the focus of school was far gone and her social skills were needing a workout.

"Oh we are heading in same direction!" Louisa smiled "Oh and don't be sorry, really it's fine!" She rearranged her stuff so they could start walking towards the lesson. "You like the early announcements?" Louisa tended not to listen to announcements unless something interesting was said.

"Sports? Not really, I am a little clumsy when it comes to sports. I will play them for fun just not competition. Do you do sports then?" Social skills were in need of a workout here to and Louisa couldn't be bothered with class, might as well be late in style now.

Karmi nodded with an emphasized. "Mhmm." Keeping her grin she nodded to her classmate. "The morning announcements are fun. I keep waiting for them to ask for Track stuff, but it hasn't happened yet." She paused, biting her lip somewhat nervously. "Track's my sport of choice. I'm getting impatient waiting for it to start up again."

Karmi was elated, even if there wasn't much being said. She figured if she had been a Sim that her "social" would be slowly recovering herself. Moving on past the normal start of spontaneous conversation she regained her talking edge, "So, which grade are you in?" Honestly, Karmi had no idea. She could guess but didn't want to come off rude.

Louisa nodded, "Oh I see. You like running? I am rubbish at running I can kind of sprint but long distance, not a chance!" She chuckled a little. She really couldn't run that fast anyway in fact her and sports didn't really mix too well. She was better off indoors reading or writing.

"Oh I am a Junior, what grade are you in?" Louisa was rubbish at guessing, she would guess but generally she got it wrong and she hated getting it wrong in case it insulted them in some way. Louisa was just a little self conscious.

"Running is my way of life!" Karmi said dramatically, then with a laugh. "I'm a Junior too!" Now she was getting excited, the fact of late class slipping deeper to the back of her mind. "That means we'll get Senior classes together." It was a fact, but it made her happy regardless of it just being that. Now she might have more people she actually knew in classes with her.

A sly smile fit her lips, "Hey, do you like tea?" She wasn't sure, she was just pressing to find more common ground to maybe begin a deeper friendship from. "There's this really great cafe down on Thornwood, I've heard it's the best but I haven't had anyone to go with." Did she sound desperate? She really didn't want to come off that way. She had been lonely as of late, that was all, and she felt a connection to Louisa already even if now their only common traits were they were both late, going the same direction and were both Juniors.

Louisa smiled. She really was rubbish at running.

"Oh cool, yeah we will have Senior classes together, awesome!" It was slightly forced, the smile and optimism but then Louisa was a loner as well and always found talking to people somewhat awkward.

The idea of the cafe sounded good though. She liked the sound of going to a cafe. "No I don't like tea much, but cafe's always do good milkshakes. I would happily go with you if you wanted? I spend a silly amount of times in cafes on my own generally." She smiled as she spoke, her awkward social smile. Though if they did go to the cafe together maybe they could become good friend? That would be awesome!

"Then I think we should go there!" Karmi said, matter-of-factly. With her eyes darting away she heard the all too familiar sound of the principal's black dress shoes tapping in the hallway. They were the only two left in the hallway. Smiling back at Louisa she giggled, "I think we should play ditch the principal before we end up with detention rather than class." Lousia seemed kind, though the same amount of awkward as Karmi. Karmi appreciated this. After all, two of a feather got together right? ...Karmi didn't remember, she wasn't into sayings this time of the year.

With a small wave she took a step towards her class. "I'll see you at lunch, right?" she asked, looking back.

Louisa nodded, she had no problem going there and maybe even making a new friend. That would be awesome!

"Yeah should probably get to class." Louisa agreed she could just imagine the trouble they would get in if they were found now. She didn't want to think about it.

"Sure, see you at lunch!" Louisa smiled, wondering if maybe the two girls could become friends? Oh she hoped so! She then turned and ran to class, oh why so late. She now needed to come up with an excuse and fast!
