Csoa couldn't remember the last time he'd actively sought out his sister. His mind was debating this as he made his way over the pridelands.
He rang a greeting to Hanyu's mother briefly, pausing on a rock to look farther down. Was it when he was an adolescent and had been so very worried about her, because all the men had suddenly started looking at the girl's their age.
He smiled slightly in fond memory of his naive moment as he took the steps down the small rise in the pridelands and continued on. He was quick to ask another member where he might find Wei.
They gave him information on where they had last seen her, and Csoa thanked them and moved on.

It had become a common thing for Wei to linger about the coastline. She had been headed in that direction, but paused yards away, no longer wanting to feel the cold sting of the breeze by the water. The grass near the water was slimy and muddy anyway, and she'd rather not deal with the cleaning process for that.
Her green eyes glowed against her brown fur, and she slowly lowered her body onto the soft grass, her position just withing sight of the water. She could barely hear the soft lull of the waves, and it soother her wandering mind. It seemed to linger on a certain lion- white, black, and pink. He was sweet, and she couldn't stop thinking about him on this sunny day. She sprawled out, eyes closing, lost in her dreamland.

Csoa was not, fortune be pleased, black, white or pink. Like his sister, he was quite glad for the weather.
Heading up to the coast was not a hard task on gentle days, and it wasn't as though the Mtaishi was particularly hard to get around. It had more slopes than it did sheer mountainsides and the biggest danger of all was floods.
His sister was easy to spot, settled into the grass. Her brown form didn't stick out ordinarily, but near the water where some of the grass was green and rich, the brown pelt was easily discernible.
"Wei!" he called with a voice that was not loud, but that traveled the distance. He had no desire to startle her while she was enjoying a pleasant sunbath. "I thought I might catch you out here." He padded his way over, his features soft and pleasantly set.

Hearing a sound, Wei's eyes subconscienously eased open, flicking wide open as her mind returned to her current position. She twisted her head from side to side, trying to figure out where the sound had come from. Turning around, she realized it was her brother, with a mane the color of her fur.
She was a bit surprised, to say the least, mostly because she had never spent much time at all with any of her brothers. Sure, there were games that some of them would play when they were young, but as she grew, it seemed like they all just grew apart. "Csoa!" Her voice was small and sweet, ending his name in a high pitch. "So you were looking for me?" Her mouth formed a slight 'o', not used to anyone ever searching for her.

Csoa broke into a trot to close the last of the distance as she called out his name. It didn't sound like a shunning sort of tone.
"I. . ." he looked caught and grinned. "Yeah."
He looked around to see if there were any other people in a last minute attempt to keep himself from being rude, but as there were none, he settled with looking at her instead.
"I thought I'd come out and see how you were doing." He shifted his feet again. "I guess we weren't really a very tight family, and, I should probably apologize for not being a very active brother." He gave her a grin that cracked at the back of his mouth. It was full of slight worry, but mostly just a calm boy trying to keep the peace.

Wei held a sympathetic smile, not wanting to agree with him, but knowing that his words were true. But he wasn't totally to blame- it had been in their upbringing that probably kept them apart.
"It's alright, Csoa. The fact that I even have brothers is a blessing." She laughed, wondering what her world would be like if she didn't have the four brothers she did. It seemed horribly boring and gray. "So there's nothing to apologize for. I wouldn't want to change who you are." She gave him a slight nudge, if only to reassure him.
"Besides, I can't say that I was a very active sister." Sticking her tongue out, Wei kneaded her paws on the ground. "But what brings you out here today? Trying to make up for lost times?" She giggled, but the thought of spending some time with her brother was something she really did want, even if it was a bit delayed. She only hoped that he felt the same way.

Csoa nodded his head in response to her words, grinning despite himself when she laughed. Family was a strange thing. They could be complete strangers, and they would still treat each other as though they'd been around the whole time. Strangely enough, it felt completely comfortable.
"I got nostolgic," he admitted with a half-smile. There was really nothing more too it.
He nodded to the words 'lost times'. It was exactly what he was doing. There was no denying the truth in the statement. "If you're not busy." He looked around once more for anyone that might have been occupying her. "I'd love to just walk with you. You know. Talk."
Which, for Hanyu might have been the most boring thing in the entire world, but Csoa was the type that listened and put in a word now and then. The idea of spending the day with his sister and catching up was more than appealing.

Eyeing him smugly, Wei couldn't help but grin. "Oh, no, I've got tons of friends that need me." She laughed, being wholely sarcastic. Wei had settled with the fact that she had few to no friends in the pride, but that fact didn't bother her much. "I guess I'm feeling a bit nostolgic as well." Her eyes drifted off for a moment, thinking back to many moons before.
"So you want to just talk? I didn't know guys liked to just chill and talk. Sounds so...desirable." She glanced at him once more, wondering what kind of life he'd attracted because of this personality. Wei hoped it was better than her own, as she now realized that the two were overly similar. "Well then, where do we start?" She rose, stretching out on the grass, claws extending. "I don't suppose you'd want to start all the way at the beginning? From the days of mere fluff...." She thought back to her cubhood, feeling a bit more energetic than she had just moments ago. Her tail flicked, and she started out in no particular direction, looking back at Csoa as she waited for him to follow.
