Tauro's recent meeting with Haku, the Draug Faroth alpha, had left her a little... confused. So she was taking a long route back to Gomorrah.
The pack was like a family. And wasn't a family pack what she'd always wanted? Just like years ago, when it was just her mother and father and grandparents and siblings? Most of that family had gone their separate ways, but there was still Gerda, and Novik, and Blink, and maybe even Seiphyr would come with her, Seiphyr and whatever lady he chose to court.
Even thoughts of Seiphyr, her adopted son, couldn't cover up the hole Tauro felt in her heart. Pups. Pups of her own! And she had TRIED, in a very roundabout way. Tauro knew how to be appealing to males. She had traveled with many, in her day. And she hadn't been careful. Yet... never had her trysts resulted in pups.
Finally, perhaps, she was forced to consider that there was something wrong with her.
It was with a heavy heart that she plodded onward to Gomorrah.

Blank walked slightly ahead of Tobin though not enough he couldn't cast his eyes over her every so often as she walked. A sight just to warm his heart, he enjoyed seeing a female and the way their body swayed as they walked. He enjoyed light conversation and never really going into any great detail in any subject, though if questioned further he would answer them. Though equally he was just as happy to walk quietly in the company of a female simply humouring her with conversation should she wish it.
It was in one of those quite moments that his nostrils picked up the scent of another female. He looked back at Tobin briefly before searching, intrigued, in front of him. His amber eyes then caught sight of a dull brown and black marked female and a small smile began to grow on his face, two females in one day, now this was turning out to be a very nice day indeed.
He addressed Tobin, 'Would you mind, I have not met this female before and I am interested to see if she's another pack member.' Or perhaps another wolf looking to hire the packs services, he thought at the back of his mind. He gave her a quick wink and nudged his shoulder to hers affectionately before calling out to the other female, 'hey there Honey.'

Tobin walked beside the male, noticing his glances. It made her a bit giddy that he paid so much attention to her, but she kept her heart guarded. He was the type to be free, and she didn't mind a bit - there was no reason to get incredibly involved to the point that she might wish to suffocate his love for life. She picked up the scent just as he did, and their eyes met suddenly. How interesting, another female! "Go ahead my dear, let's play." the glint of curiosity shown in her eyes, and she followed him, keeping a respectable distance so as not to crowd the situation. She was an interesting mix - strange patterns that Tobin had never seen marked her face and back. "Hello." she welcomed, rubbing her muzzle against Blank's hip as he walked ahead of her.

Tauro heard the male first as she walked, and stopped to p***k her ears toward him and watch him approach. He was marked with battle scars, including a missing ear that he chose to adorn, and he wore man-made metal around his ankles. Even with those signs of a full life lived, she could see that he was younger than she was, attractive and virile.
Behind him came a female, a muddy brown. The way she walked close and rubbed against him offered a not-so-subtle clue as to their relationship. Tauro growled a bit to herself. Today was not the day she wanted to deal with young lovebirds! She wondered why they were even bothering to speak with her. Perhaps they were recruiters.
"Hello yourself," she said to the male, lifting a brow at the nickname. Was that what he called everyone, or was he trying to make his lady love jealous? Tauro was probably the wrong wolf to start that with.

Blank felt Tobin nudging him affectionately on his hind leg and his smile broaden. Tobin never seem to amaze him, she had just given herself over to him for the second time and now she was eager for him to meet another female and with herself present, she was very open minded indeed and he liked that about her.
Though now he turned his attentions to the female whom they had now both greeted. He turned her over with his eyes unashamedly; she was somewhat older than himself and Tobin but age meant nothing to Blank as long as she was eager and able to hold his weight, he was happy. She seemed in good health and this pleased him and with this he reasoned she was either wise in ways of the land, being able to hunt and feed herself as a lone very well or she was a member of a pack.
The latter piqued his curiosity as they were currently walking the buffering land between numerous packs in this area, which she belonged to he did not know and she seemed to have numerous faint scent upon her other than her own.
Tobin and himself had greeted themselves in a friendly manner and she did not seem at unease upon meeting to strange wolves, so he finished off the introductions before inquiring, 'Well met, you find yourself in the presence of myself, Blank and Tobin, my...' He searched for a word and simply settled for, 'companion. We are just on our way to my pack Tomkin, where do you call home Honey?'

Tobin just smiled back at the two wolves - Blank, the sultry beast she had found herself a bit hot under the collar for, and this new female, who was very interesting in the least. She loved to meet new wolves, especially since Blank had been the only 'free' wolf she had met since she had left her home pack.
Anyone new was interesting to her, at this point.
The she-wolf's smiled broadened a bit at Blank's pause, as he attempted to find a name for what she was to him. 'Companion' suited her just fine. They kept each other company, and each kept the other happy, and from getting bored. Yes, companion worked very well for the pair.
She chuckled softly to herself as Blank used the name 'Honey' once more. She hoped that the female would realize he meant well, and wouldn't take offense. Either way, Tobin felt a sort of thrill when he used little names like that, whether they were aimed at her, or at another female.

Tobin seemed fine with Blank addressing Tauro like she did; either that or she was awfully confident in her own abilities. Tauro knew, though, that when it came down to it, experience was what mattered -- and Tauro had a lifetime of that.
Not, of course, that she was looking to use it.
Tomkin, she didn't know of. That meant the pack probably had no reason to either ally with or align itself against Piper and Gomorrah -- both of which made it fine in her eyes. Blank continued to use a nickname for her; Tauro first introduced herself to put a damper on that. "I'm Tauro," she said. "My pack is Gomorrah, for now." She always felt a need to separate herself from her niece's pack. She didn't like its philosophy -- or her niece. "Tomkin -- I haven't heard of it. Where's it?"

Blank smiled warmly at the female and he confirmed, 'Good day to you Tauro.' He turned his head slightly and flickered a gaze at Tobin before fixing his eyes back on Tauro's and announcing, 'Well you honey, I've not been in these lands long so I'm not sure of the geography of the place in respects to surrounding packs. Tomkin is not far from here, I only left the boundaries to answer and familiar howl.' He turned and flashed a smile at Tobin and then focused again on Tauro a slightly perplexed look crossing his face, 'For now you say, are you looking for somewhere else to lay your head?'

It wasn't that she was particularly interested in knowing where Tomkin was, but she still filed the information away in the back of her head for a later date. It could come in handy.
He was still calling her honey, and she chalked it up to an irreparable character trait. "Not right now," she informed him brusquely. "I'm helping my sister with my nephews." Though soon the boys would be big enough that she couldn't use that excuse anymore, and Seiphyr was already grown and wandering. It seemed like every time she found her family they scattered again. It was trying to carry the sky in your mouth.
She sat, old bones creaking. "So you're going home, then." It wasn't exactly stated as a question.

Blank lowered his eyes to follow Tauro as she lowered herself slowly into a sitting position, she moved with care that old bones demanded and his mind wondered to earlier observations, she maybe healthy, a pack life proving her with regular meals but a smile formed on his maw as he wondered if those old bones could really hold his weight. He chuckled softly to himself and lowered his head a little shaking it clean, a one track mind, he told himself off for being so perverse and then looked the other female in the eye and eased himself to the ground also; if she was sitting it was an obvious sign she was willing to converse for a time and thus he'd only be happy to join for a while also as he was in no rush to return to the pack lands.
'Home. Ah I don't know the meaning of that word/term really. I suppose so.' He smiled at her, 'For now.' He chuckled, the sound deep and rich. He looked up at Tobin then and gave her a wink and abrupt nudge of his head to the left, indicating for her to sit with them also. 'I would like to think I could grow to call it home but it has been such a long time since I've known anything as such. The alpha is welcoming and I respect him.' He made the last comment as if that was reason alone to stay within the pack. Blank was an easy going wolf so he didn't really need much more of a reason and having no ties gave him that luxury.

Tobin stood close, content for now to listen to the conversation. She wasn't into other females, but as long as Blank kept things interesting for her, she didn't mind sticking around. She would let him control, for now, how loosely or tightly she held to him.
She wondered briefly about the things being said between wolves before noticing both had sat, and she was being beckoned to join in the relaxation.
Nodding slightly towards her companion, she moved to the area indicated by him and sat, taking care to tuck her tail neatly about her left haunch. Her forepaws patted the ground in front of her briefly before she settled.
For now, she would listen, to gage what Blank had in mind with this one, though she felt that she already knew what he wanted. A smile crossed her face for a moment as the thought played out in her mind, before dropping back to the neutral expression she held.

Tauro had certainly traveled with a variety of males throughout her life, and she would unashamedly list the reason for doing so as pleasure... but she certainly wasn't the type to sit when she was told to sit, by any of them.
Perhaps that was the reason she currently wasn't traveling with any males.
Ah, but she could understand the attraction the younger female felt for this Blank. Not handsome in the usual sense, his scars and tattered ears lent a sort of precedence to him; without them, Tauro would not have looked at him twice, but the marks told a tale of a strong beast who could stand up to adversity. Tobin was perhaps interested in him for the power he could yield, and the safety he provided; Tauro would be more interested in knowing he could keep up with her.
It certainly had been a long time since she'd traveled with a male, if she was even analyzing this one. "Mph. Respect." She cast her eyes to Tobin. "And do you respect this one, then?" She told herself she was asking for the girl's own good, as a female who had 'been there'; in truth the question tasted of jealousy.

Blank kept his eyes upon Tauro then whole time, Tobin was already in his grasp and it took little effort to whoo her but Tauro seemed like a harder nut to crack, Blank liked a bit of a challenge, though not to much, if it took longer than a short conversation Blank would revert back to Tobin who seemed far more liberal in her actions, much more to Blank's liking. His amber eyes remained opened and friendly however and he smiled at the elder female, she seemed to be taking him in, her eyes tracing his old scars and when they drew to his eyes his smile tweaked mischievously to one side reading 'Like what ya see?'. However she didn't reply to the gesture, instead she turned her attentions to Tobin.
He let his eyes linger on Tauro a moment longer then twisted his head and looked at Tobin to whom he issued a brief cheeky wink and he rolled his eyes to Tauro and back, the subliminal message to her being, 'Go on, play nicely, what da ya say?' He wondered then if Tobin really was that liberal minded he tossed his head and looked at the floor chuckling to himself muttering under his breath, 'Bad boy...' then his ears perked as Tauro mused and issued forth a question to the younger female. His eyes rolled upwards and his head followed as he look back and forth between the two females, a different conversation seeming to spark up between the two, something he didn't seem invited into and a far different one he'd ever choose to be in.

Tobin chose to remain silent. There was no need for her to really butt in, for she knew exactly what was going on here. When the female spoke again, she wasn't sure who she was asking about respect.
When Blank chose not to respond, she felt she was being forced to speak. Respect was an interesting and complicated thing to the she-wolf. Right now, she was having fun with Blank, and didn't care if respect played into it. She respected herself, and as long as she wasn't feeling as though she was being used, she didn't much feel like getting herself worked up it.
She had stalled long enough, and felt as though things needed to be cleared a bit. "Is your question of respect directed towards me, or Blank?" she asked, arching and eyebrow.

Tauro barked loudly, as though asking the sandy female to wake up. "Well, he isn't answering," she said, with a bit of a derisive grin. She stood again, to pace toward the female, ending up near her side, placing Tobin in between Tauro and Blank. "Well, does he?" she rumbled. It would probably be better to hear the answer from Tobin herself.
Though it wasn't the end of the world to stay with a man who was only with you because you were warm and your heart beat -- Tauro had done it often enough -- the harm only came when you didn't realize it. Mutual disrespect could work just as well as the opposite. Miscommunication was the problem.
