Quick Plot Review
Deep in the Palace of Versailles there lives a man; he is known to many as Prince Kamijo, both loved and feared by all. Though to none is he known to be his true self...a vampire. By nature he spends his days hidden in his palace, and only emerges once the vile sun has dissapeared from view. People thing almost nothing of it; so their prince is a sociopath. At least they're not in any war. Yet, rumor has it that the Prince of another land has his eyes set on the vampire-Prince's territory...and he's contemplating war. Though, this other prince is not a violent man; so he plans on visiting Prince Kamijo's palace to see if they can't work something out with words rather than violence. It's strange, though...the other prince seems to only wish to speak at night, and he never seems to need any sleep...

Kamijo sighed as he sat at his desk, by the window. He stared out at the night, dim lights glistened in the streets beautifully. He leaned on his hand, watching the silence go by. Nothing but the ticking of a grandfather clock at the wall was heard. He moved his hand over his mouth, pondering slighty about a certain place and it's prince. 'Venice... Perhaps we could work something out to join our lands... I'd hate to go to war just because he is not ruler of my land, or that I am not ruler of his...' He thought, looking at the taxidermed raven that sat at his desk.
Years without war or plague, now would not be the time for it to come now. Kamijo wished to avoid al possible violence, especially for his loyal people. The Prince of Venice... He thought to himself, 'Perhaps I should create some appointment for a meeting to discuss such matters...' He sighed again and shut the curtains to the windows in the room before resting his head on his desk. Closing his eyes he decided to think more about it before morning came.

It was a quiet night. He could still hear the people bustling about in the streets, closing their shops and hurrying home before the darkness became too overwhelming. Teru enjoyed times like these. The silence was almost suffocating, and the darkness hung over the city like a woolen blanket. All of the lights in the Prince's study were off, his curtains drawn, just so that everything could be all the more amplified. That courtier should be back soon... The 'young' prince had sent a courtier to Versailles about a few days ago, carrying with him a message with his interests inside. They weren't very peaceful interests...Teru was interested in, for a lack of a better word, invading the neighboring country. He had had his eyes on the land for quite a while. And, hell, why not initiate war now?
Though, Teru would love to settle this without using violence. He wasn't the biggest fan of war, and even now, Venice's army was lacking. Teru shut his eyes, letting out a bored yawn and sighing. Maybe he shouldn't have declared that he wanted war...just said that war was the second option. Oh, well...perhaps now Versailles will see my offer easier.

Kamijo opened his eyes as he thought over what to write. He took his quill and dipped the tip in ink as he took out a piece of paper. He'd better start writing now before the sun comes so he can sleep.
'Dear Teru...'
He growled and towwed teh paper away.
'Dear Prince of Venice...'
He tossed that one as well.
'Prince of Venice in the country of Italy...'
Yes, I may keep it...
'...I wish to have a conference meeting with you over the issues your interest of Versailles and France. I would much rather Preferably, I would rather avoid war and, seeing as your army is at a weak point, I'm sure you would rather avoid this as well. Within 3 5 10 days, if you have not decided to show up, I will take this as a profound act of war and will invade Italy.'
Kamijo smirked and rewrote his letter on a better sheet of paper. Signing and dating it, he sent his own messenger off to give the letter to Teru. He wondered what he would be like in person. Like Napolean, perhaps? being so very short thinking he was greatly tall. Or maybe Alaxander... He chuckled at the thought of it, but in all seriousness, he did want to meet him in person.

Teru had taken from his study after a long while and was now aimlessly meandering the barely lit halls of his own- relatively small- palace. Might as well; once the sun floods his halls again, it would be back to his room for some dreamless sleep. His pale hands grazed against the intricate wallpaper and wood, skimming lightly over the ancient paintings of his family. Teru had been meaning to get his own portrait done; maybe pay one of the great artists of Florence to come to his city to create a masterpiece. The Prince smiled at the thought. Wouldn't that be a sight, a painting of the young Prince Teru of Venice done by Raphael himself.
"Prince Teru, sir!" He was snapped out of his musings by a rough voice approaching him from behind. Turning, he gave one of the city guards a toothless smile. "Yes?" The man stopped, giving Teru a deep bow before speaking. "A watchtower on the outskirts of the city are saying they spot a man on his way into the city, claiming he is from Versailles." The Prince's smile brightened. Oh, lovely. Someone was coming to negotiate! "Lovely. Open the gates to the palace for him, will you?" The guard bowed and nodded his head, running off to carry out his command.
Teru greeted the messenger at the entrance, an elegant smile on his face as he accepted the letter that was handed to him. Reading the note over, his smile grew more satisfied. "Lovely! Fetch me something to write the Prince of Versailles an appropriate reply." He ordered a guard next to him, who walked off promptly and returned with an ink bottle, quill, and a few swatches of parchment. Quickly dipping the writing utensil in the inkwell, he wrote(in his best handwriting, of course),
'How lovely it is that you are against the option of war as well as I. Yes, my army is slightly lacking in weaponry, but their morale is shockingly high. And if a meeting between parties does not solve this, they might have to take action. That aside, a peaceful meeting sounds doable. Expect myself, my Army General, and a few chosen knights to be at your city in but a week. Our talk will continue then.
Signed, Prince Teru of Venice'
Teru slid the note into an envelope, stamped it with his royal seal, and handed back to the Versailles messenger. "Off you go~." Waiting until the human had fled the palace gates, the Prince turned on his heel and walked off. "Ah, gentleman, the prince of Versailles is expecting me in seven days...While I sleep, please ready my things and prepare for departure for tomorrow night." He said as he walked back up to his room.

Kamijo slept soundly in the morning and day, staying at his desk. No one dared disturb him. nor did they bother open teh curtains due to a last incident. Although, the servents pondered for almsot a few hours if they should wake him as a note had come back from Venice. They decided to wake him and all were wary of his reaction to being woken. "My Lord...?" A maid whispered, touching the vampire's shoulder. Kamijo opened his eyes immediately, looking to her with light irises. She bowed and handed him the letter, scurrying off to go back to her duties. Kamijo stretched out his arms befer he read the letter.
He smirked, reading that the prince would be bringing others with him. If things do not go smoothly, I can always just make one of them a meal... He thought to himself. "Just a week..." He said to himself, touching his knuckle to his chin. "I cant wait..." He purred, throwing the letter away afterwards. He rested his head once again in his arms to go back to sleep. He opened his eyes, though, at a small detailed he forgot. He growled to himself. "Damn... I never mentioned this should be held at night..." He said to himself. Sending a letter stating the meeting would be at nighttime may seem suspiscious or just timewasting if that were all. He sighed, annoyed at the simple missing of detail. "I suppose I'll just have to adjust to teh day then..."

Once again, the sun dipped low behind the Venice skyline, making it safe for Teru to emerge from his palace and make sure everything was in order for their departure. He stepped out into the plaza, dressed in his normal, if slightly revealing for a man, attire, and bowed to his Army General when he approached. "Everything is almost ready, sire..." the General was a quiet fellow, who didn't enjoy conversation. So to spare him the misery, Teru let him go soon after he spoke. "Ah..." The prince took a deep breath of the cool night air, his bare stomach quivering slightly. It was kind of cold out, and made no sense to most people to wear a coat that only covered your arms and back. But Teru's body didn't get cold, thankfully. That's why he walked around in shorts and a revealing coat.
"Prince Teru! You're the only one we're awaiting." Teru turned, blinking and laughing quietly. "My apologies! Just saying goodbye to my city~!" What an odd excuse, but oh well. Scampering over to the awaiting party, he jumped up into his private carriage car and let out a small sigh. This thing had windows...Ah, at least the curtains were thick. We're going to have to time our arrival right so that we end up in Versailles during the evening... Which was doable. He'd just tell the drivers so; and it would be wise for them to travel only at night. Because, as all his close subjects knew, Prince Teru had extremely sun-sensitive skin. It was a flimsy excuse, but that was what popped into his head when he was first asked about his odd nocturnal habits.
"Are we there yet~?" Teru whined, resting his head on the carriage seat and pouting his lower lip out. What, he acted like a child when he was bored. Peering up out of the window, he was relieved to see it was at least nighttime. "Almost, actually, prince Teru." The knight riding on the seat opposite him said. Teru had insisted someone ride in the carriage with him so he could have someone to talk to. Sure enough, the knight was correct. Versailles could be seen by the naked eye from the small window. "Wonderful~" The male sat up, fussing with his hair and straightening his clothes out. Though the way he was dressed didn't scream "respectable authority", he didn't want to look dirty. Plus, all of the "respectable authority" vibe came from his voice and his eyes; he just liked to wear off clothes.

Kamijo sighed and yawned, finishing getting dressed. He dressed quite elegantly, even fixing a nice cravat for himself. Putting on a set of a gloves and a thumb ring he set up the dining table with candles and roses of both blue and deep red, nearly black. He called for his cooks and maid to clean as much as they could and prepare a meal for his guests. He didn't bother asking to bring knights or other high ranking people from his kingdom to join him, he felt safe enough as long as it was night time. And besides, if he had to he would just drain them all, perhaps keep the other prince as a pet for himself.
He sat at his place at the table, awaiting the arival of the group. A maid and butler were set by the door to greet them. Kamijo kept his saber at his side in a belt, not that he really would need it, so he thought. Kamijo crossed his legs, leaning his his hand as he closed his nearly-white eyes. They held a tint of blue, despite how light they were.
It was still evening, not a single window open yet. As soon as the sun were low enough, maids would open the windows, revealing the stained glass illustrations of angels. Despite how majestic angels seemed, these painte glass pistures illustrated their terrifying side, such as Azrael slaying humans or Lucifer falling down the sky. Kamijo preferred this over any holy illustrations. He liked these darker sides of the angels better than the overly glorified stories of triumph and life.
The vampire's mind wandered to wondering how the prince of Venice would seem. Through writing he seemed either effeminate or just quite optimistic in some form or another. Would he be dark skinned and dark haired like most Italians? Perhaps the stereotypical over-sized nose as well... Kamijo snorted a laugh at the thought of it, gaining a few odd looks from passing servants.

"Sir?" Teru snapped out of his daze, looking around and blinking in slight confusion. He was rather preoccupied staring out the window at the city they had just entered. It was quite magnificent...and Teru had heard wonders about the palace. "Hm? Oh, sorry..." The sun had just settled behind the distant hills, and he liked to watch the nighttime as much as he could; seeing as it was the only time he was allowed to see. He looked around the small cabin, resting his hazy blue eyes on the man riding with him. "Does this mean we're almost there?" The knight smiled and nodded, making the prince clap his hands together in excitement. Excitement in part to just get out of this carriage(he could run faster than this thing!), but mostly to meet this other prince. Teru hoped he wasn't one of those stereotypically stuck up, snotty French people...That would make this meeting unpleasant.
The cabin finally slowed to a stop and Teru couldn't help but smile brightly for a moment. But when the door was opened for him, it quickly faded and was replaced with a stern look of authority. He stood up, stepping out of the cabin and taking a deep breath of the cold night air. Ah, lovely...His mood was much lightened at the chance to be outside, if only for a moment. Taking a few steps and stretching out his legs, he rested his hands on his hips for a moment and let out a small sigh. "So...This is Chateau de Versailles." He looked up at the rather extravagant palace in front of him and couldn't help a smile coming onto his face. It was truly beautiful...
"Ah...Prince Teru of Venice?" Teru turned at the sound of his name, and two unfamiliar people were approaching him; he dismissed the knights who instinctively tensed up and smiled at the people. "I am him." They bowed and raised their hands towards the door. "Prince Kamijo is waiting for you and your party in the dining hall. Allow us to show you the way." One said, earning a nod and a smile from Teru. "Very good. Lead the way." They turned and headed into the palace, Teru and his men following. His smile faded gradually; might as well seem dignified for this other prince. Teru let his icy-blue eyes wander around the magnificent halls as the servants paved a way for them; goodness, his home seemed like a slum in comparison. "Through this door, sir." The maidwoman pointed to the upcoming door, and her partner opened it for them- how, Teru didn't know, that door was huge- to let them in. "Thank you." He said quietly as he motioned for his men to enter the room before him.

Kamijo heard the door open and stood, turning to face those who had entered. Walking towards them, his eyes went through everyone, stopping at the boy dressed in... wait... what was that, exactly? A shirt, or without shirt and only coat he couldn't quite tell, that revealed such a soft skinned stomach. Shorts that were indeed short... Tall boots, glorious soft colour... This was the prince? Kamijo raised an eyebrow, smiling as he bowed to them. The servents bowed also and were dismissed, off to do either chores or finish the cooking of the meal that would be set. A roast was the first thing to be done, along with many other things that the chefs were still slaving over. Rising from his bow, Kamijo took whom he guess was the prince's hand gently, looking at the boy in blue. "A pleasure to meet you, young Prince of Venice..." He purred, giving a devilish smirk. Studying the boy's features he was quite different from what he thought. He barely looked Italian at all! Small nose, light skin, beautiful blue eyes and silvery hair... If things did not go well, Kamijo may just kill him just to taxidermy him to keep him beautiful. Releasing the prince's hand as he glanced to the others around him he stood straight and moved to the side. "This way, please..." He said quietly, motioning his hand to the dining table that butlers had already, stealthily placed red wine out for everyone. Kamijo's glass, however, was not red wine but blood. Easily disguised, or so he would hope.

Ah- well, Teru surely wasn't expecting to be greeted by someone who looked like- well, that. The other prince was quite a feast for your eyes; and the combination of his voice and his touch sent shivers down the Italian prince's spine. This would be a rather pleasant meeting, indeed. "The pleasure is all mine, Prince of Versailles...You may call me Teru, by the way." He said, smiling politely and letting his hand drop next to his side. Glancing to where the other prince gestured to, he let his men go first, and he followed soon after, taking a seat close to the other male. As soon as he sat down, the unmistakable scent of blood met his sensitive nose; it made his mouth water almost immediately. "Nn...Thank you for accomodating us, sir," Teru said quietly, fidgeting with his long coat sleeve and waiting for the rest of his men to be seated before letting his head move around to try and catch the direction that smell was coming from. It was annoying, now, being so close to a source of blood and not being able to have any of it...Was it in the wine glasses maybe? Picking up his own glass, he raised it to his lips, not bothering to taste it and simply inhaling it's scent. No...not in his. Damn. So as to not appear wierd, though slightly rude, he took a small sip of the liquid and set the glass back down. Teru rested his hands in his lap, looking directly forward at the empty seat across from him, and attempting to keep his face calm and neutral instead of agitated.

Kamijo smirked as he lead the others to the table, sitting down elegantly. "You may call me Kamijo, prince Teru." He said kindly, smirking to the other. He took his own glass, parting his lips as he slowly enjoyed the taste of blood that went down his throat. It stained the glass slightly as he set it back down. Folding his hands together, his nearly white eyes peered to everyone. "Now... You all are here for a reason, of course. Shall we make peace? Perhaps merge into one, rather than taking over the other completely... If you ever wish to come here you are as welcome as in your own country as well as using my army and the other way around. With my persmission to use my army and vise versa... Or.. Do you really want this place all to yourselves...?" He asked, glancing to Teru. He eyed him carefully, wanting to see his flow, squirms, twitches, or even the slightest movement. He seemed interesting to Kamijo and he wondered if his blood tasted as sweet as he looked. He reminded himself his blood shall stay untouched unless things go wrong...

Teru smiled lightly, turning his light blue eyes over to the prince. "Kamijo, then...Lovely name." He chuckled softly; yes, Teru wasn't the most formal person. He actually partially hated the formalities that came with his position. Most of the time, he enjoyed acting normal...but of course, "he wasn't allowed to". Damnit, he was a prince, he should be able to do as he pleased! "Peace is nice. I would like to prolong war for as long as possible." He pondered the idea of merging, though it was kind of hard with that smell attacking his nose. "I would have to say, having this place all to myself would be very nice..." He smiled and laughed again, hoping his words didn't come off too serious. Because he was joking, of course! Teru reached for his wine glass again, taking a long breath to clear his nose of the blood's smell before drinking another small amount. "Merging...sounds like a settleable agreement." He set his glass down and looked over at Kamijo, blinking slightly when he saw the other male eyeing him. He cleared his throat, smiling softly and nodding his head in affirmal to his previous words.

Kamijo smiled this time, amused by this prince. "I would also love to have such a beautiful city knwon for love all to myself~" He purred, seemingly more serious. "Then is it settled? Would you and your comrads like to stay here a night? I do not mind at all..." He purred, the corner of his mouth twitching up. He practiacally ignored the others, only looking to Teru. His childishness and informality was very intersting to Kamijo. As if he were a child... Kind hearted and innocent as one aswell... Although he almost seemed too innocent or naive. He took his blood filled glass and slowly sipped. As it was now half empty, the stains on the sides and edges were more clear. The tste of the blood still lingered at the vampire's lips. Kamijo almost had a cruel enough heart to tease this boy further, but resisted the urge to touch the other's hand or knee. "Would any of you like another glass...?" He asked quietly, never taking his light coloured eyes away from the boy. He wanted to see how uncomfortable, embarrassed, or shy this boy could get.
