I've marching in the rain twice with a wool uniform. Once was the San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade and the other was last thursday at the Walnut Creek Parade of Lights. There also have been some mornings when I've had to march in the rain.

Are you kidding? Half my season this year was rain. Yes, I love rain, and It's fun to march in, but four of our cavelcades were canceled due to it. Yay, upper east coast!

I HATE THE RAIN!! we have new astro turf! i love it!! its got tiny pieces of rubber(like chopped up tire) ANYWAY...we were practicing in our uniforms because it was a day before a competition and it just started down pouring....lightenting, thunder and the only cover we had was under the bleachers...needless to say...that didnt do CRAP!! OUR BAND DIRECTOR MADE US PRACTICE UNDER THE BLEACHERS WHILE IT WAS POURING RAIN! stressed i had to stand in a puddle for a half hour, when i got home MY FEET WERE PRUNY xp the day after that they started to peel...oh my god it was so gross!!!
