I'am afraid I'll break him. gonk It's a 13 lb. difference. xp But still..... I feel so much bigger and shorter compared to him. (He's 5'8'' and I am 5'1'') I really like him, but I don't know, I just feel awkward in the few instances 'sitting in laps' came up in. Has anyone ever had any problems like this? What kind of weight or hight differences have you guys had in a relationship?

I know what you mean. I am 5'4" and about 215 and my husband is over 6 feet tall and weighs a little less then me. I have issues too but gotten over most of them (we have been together for 5 years though) I think like for me it just took time for me to feel comfortable to know that he was really okay with it. Somtimes even now I get a bit squirmish about sitting on his lap but in those cases I sit but dont sit for long. I don't want to make him feel like I don't trust him when he asks me to sit on his lap or something.

I'm 5ft7in and Phaedra is about 5ft5in... I'm around 220 and she's over 300 (I'm forbidden to give actual number)
I can easily hold her on my lap (or elsewhere, when doing things that are way beyond pg-13) but she's so nervous it almost never happens, which is a shame, for it is a wonderful way to cuddle in my opinion. I've been working on showing her that I can in fact support her when she relaxes completely...but she still gets scared. What she forgets is that I used to be a wrestler, and practiced with people twice my size trying to twist me into pretzels (they rarely succeeded by the way) I can handle it smile She gets all wide eyed on the occasions when I pick her up, or "toss" her to the other side of our bed. domokun
Just remember ladies, us guys can probably take anything you got, and possibly more... so feel fry to try anything, if it's too much for your guy, he'll let you know.

Kekewey Saew Just remember ladies, us guys can probably take anything you got, and possibly more... so feel fry to try anything, if it's too much for your guy, he'll let you know. Yeah. I think that is true...although I suggest that you don't jump on him and try to do a piledriver or anything. And if you feel like you still are going to squish them, then you warn them...profusely...and then climb up on top of them (still in PG 13) anyway. 3nodding Trust me...if the guy like you...all of you...then the little pudge he feels will probably excite him. As a half-joking asside....Personally I think that guys (especially in adulthood) aren't as discriminating against fat chicks as they say. Ya'll single girls....Put it on that guy you like and see if he says no. lol blaugh If he does, then he is probably in the minority... mrgreen

I'd like to say my girl weighs about as much as I do. I've never asked her weight. After all, it is not something a gentleman oughtta do, right? And she's nervous about the whole sitting in my lap thing. She forgets her fears of hurting me from time to time and relaxes, which can be wonderful! But alas, oftentimes, she's all tense.
Girls, don't worry about hurting your boys. We don't mind a little squishing, after all. Some of us go out of our way for it.
By the by, I'm the larger of us, as far as height and width go. I think as far as weight too, but I'm not sure.

I'm a heavy girl and I've found that most guys can handle my weight whenever I sit on their laps. I regularly sit on the lap of my best friend when there are no seats available during a party and he can hold out quite long while still being comfortable. mrgreen Don't worry too much about it and just tell the guy to let you know when it becomes too much.

Hmm... 13 doesn't sound like a whole lotta pounds. I wouldn't worry about hurting him. Besides, I'm sure he'd tell you if something was painful.
BTW. If you think YOUR height differances are bad, think this over. I'm 6'3". My last girlfriend was 4'10".
