Rory came straight home after work, only pausing to wash up at the stables and to stop by a booth in the marketplace selling flowers. Since they didn't have roses, he got some pretty red carnations, hoping Lee would like them just as much. With the house being quiet as he came in, he went ahead and put the carnations in a vase of water, then took it to the bedroom to check on Lee.

Lee wasn't in bed where Rory'd left her, instead kneeling on the floor of her closet, hanging up all the clothes they'd hauled over from her parents' house. She heard Rory come in, poking her head out and smiling to him. Clearly, her nausea had already passed. "Are those flowers for me?" Her eyes widened, focused on the vase in Rory's hands now.

"Yeah. They didnae hae roses. I hope these are alreet," the boy answered, setting the flowers on the desk and going to sit by her. "Feeling better now, eh?"

Her expression softened, and Lee clung to Rory the second he sat by her side. "I feel a lot better, yeah." Her voice was muffled, speaking into Rory's neck as she nuzzled him. He was so sweet... Backing away a bit, she laughed nervously a bit before saying, "I think your mom thought I was faking it when she came by."

"She used t' think I wis fakin' bein' all th' times I wis sick as a kid, too," Rory chuckled, patting Lee's hair. "E'en when I had th' flu."

Lee giggled, linking her fingers together behind his neck and looking into his eyes. "I'm jealous. It'd be fun taking care of you." She wouldn't cook or anything, now knowing that would only make him more sick. She'd just fetch him water and blankets and whatever else he'd need, and generally be a doting housewife.

Rory gave her a sort of goofy grin, then pulled her into his lap and kissed her tenderly. Breaking it, he snuggled her in his arms, giving a soft sigh. "So, what d'you want fae dinner? If you're feelin' better, you can come help me cook since you want t' learn."

Lee bit her lip, smiling nervously. "O-okay," she answered in a weak, unsure voice. Clearly she was a bit hesitant of preparing meals after apparently having poisoned herself. "I dun care what we have... Can we make something easy, though?"

Lee giggled, resting her head on his shoulder. "You're gonna have to tone down the sweetness, Rory, if you dun want me to tackle and drag you to the bed so I can have my way with you..." she murmured, sounding as serious as she was. Seriously now, flowers, snuggles, and concern? How much better could he get?

"Tackle me all you want, lover. I couldnae stop thinkin' about you all day. I just wanted t' come home an' crawl in bed wi' you," Rory said, smiling at her, his eyes crinkling up a bit. "So, what did you do all day while I wis gone? Must've been borin' beenin' around th' house all this time."

It had been boring, just as he suspected. Why else would Lee be spending her time hanging clothes? "Hm... Well, I took a nap. Then your mom came, and we talked a little. Then when she left, I kinda had nothing to do, so I organized my makeup and then just started putting away all the boxes of clothes we brought home with us." And here she was now. It had been hours of work, but it was still somewhat entertaining to sift through her clothes. She liked clothes. A lot. "So at least I got some stuff done, right?" She gave him a nervous smile, wishing she'd have been more competent and been able to fold laundry or mop the floor or something.

Lee smiled guiltily, sinking a bit at his question. Sell it? She supposed that had been the plan... But did she have to? "I guess whatever I can't fit in here." She shrugged, knowing she wouldn't want to part with any of it. Perhaps Lauss should be in charge of selling her clothes. It would just be too painful to do it herself.
