My brother is going to get one license free through MSDNAA, then pay for a second one using his email address. By the way, ones you get though those are exactly the same as the ones in stores. Additionally, you can get Home Premium of Professional, still free/$30.

I will probably be doing this because I would love to have a valid copy of Windows to use Boot Camp on.
I dunno where my install discs that came with my Mac are tho, and I need those.
I wonder if I can get the Apple store to do it for me so I don't ******** it up xd

I thought Windows 7 was supposed to pick up where Vista dropped the ball. As in, Fix the s**t that was wrong with it.

/shrug.

I think about it, but I'm not really sure if I want Windows 7. XP's not broken for me (well, not entirely) yet.

EDIT: The technical center I went to was part of the MSDNAA Program. I never really used it while I had the chance. >3>;;

If only I had an edu e-mail address or was in college...

Anyways, I see 7 as Vista 2.0.1

And it has tracker files to see if you actually bought it for all you sailing types out there. wink Haven't heard if it crashes and burns your ship yet or if you can sail smoothly on the open seas.

Been using a legal copy of Windows 7 for a couple months now. Roommate got me a key off his company's MSDN when my Vista died. It's a major improvement over Vista.

Windows 7 Professional has an XP Mode. If you get Home Premium you can buy the XP mode separately later I guess? Just saying.

You don't need Windows 7 to run a virtual OS on your computer. Hell, you can do it on XP, you just need a processor that can support it.
