I saw all sorts of recipies on here about how to make soaps and shampoos but they are either based around honey or a different soap.

My mom, despite my pleas keeps buying me products by Proctor and Gamble.

They test on animals and are by NO means organic.

With this war, I don't think money will be too much of a problem for me BUT the cheaper the better. 'w'

(Note: I adore cinnamon and mint!)

Can't help though, except to say maybe a shampoo using honey would at least be better than one made by P&G or other shampoos with SLS or ALS

Can't help though, except to say maybe a shampoo using honey would at least be better than one made by P&G or other shampoos with SLS or ALS

what's even worse is my mom buys me herbal essences which is by p&g AND contains honey!
I might just opt for a homemade honey shampoo.
But i was hoping for a different option if one was available. 3nodding

I don't know a whole lot about homemade shampoos. But I am pretty sure there are store-bought shampoo options that are not P&G or honey based.

I use Beauty Without Cruelty. I believe they are vegan and not tied to P&G. Here is their website if you want to look into it http://www.beautywithoutcruelty.com/ I think you can buy right from there or through sites like drugstore.com They also sell it at my local grocery store. It's a tad pricey, but it's not outrageous. It works well, and the bottles are fairly large.

My problem is the only stores we have around here are like walmart and target. crying
