Not a single mention of Ikari in the history. wink Important enough to risk infiltrating a den of pure evil, not important enough to mention. XD Course I find it odd that her adversion to touch isn't mentioned anywhere either.

I would have to bring up a simalur issue that Hotaru had. For the simple and advance Conversion, will it take longer to alter the structure of larger objects then it would smaller ones?
Do denser things have any effect?

Super Cereal Time. /algore
Finger Torch: Considering examples that they gave that sounds almost too weak even to be a Genin Jutsu as generally talking about the worst someone's going to get from that is a first degree burn. If that. But it does have a lot of utility. Still, I swear they listed a Genin Jutsu example with someone making thier whole fist wrapped in flames. So you could go higher I imagine.
Simple Conversion: Would expect considering it's Genin Level there'd be a time limit upon it, or maybe a notation about taking a constant flow of chakra to maintain it (Thus lasting longer as you get stronger but less time at the start). Considering the nature of it I'd also have a notation that it can't be used on an unwilling target. I know in part such a thing would be used to and manipulate your own body. (Like hallowing out some of your body to make you lighter and sprout wings) But has serious applications of "I just changed the shape of your nervous system so nothing links up to the brainstem. Die in paralytic agony!"
Advanced Conversion: Pretty much copy what I said above.
Razor Whip: How would it stand up against a hardened target? For example, Jinco in his Gears, or that jackass I faced in the exams with the instantly regenerating wood armor thing? One coudl take the "lack of sturdiness" meaning that it wouldn't bite in and have no penetration power. Just saying. I'd like that sort of notation, there are a few ninja with armor like Jinco, or the usual flak jackets.
Tail hold: I'd say this almost doesn't even sound like it should be listed. That'd be like me having to list a Hip Throw as a technique for Ikari. Yeah, it's a tail and thus unusual but since it's part of her natural body and just a simple grab/lock/hold why should it take up a Jutsu spot? I'd say if you were going to have a tail move that takes up a slot it should be at least as impressive as something like a Deflect Arrows type ability, where while engaging another target you are able to keep your tail free and able to knock aside shuriken and the like as I imagine that sort of awareness, focus, and technique would be quite special.
Kekkei Genkai: I understand there's racial stuff here. Though I dislike the sixth sense. Experience as a GM and a Villainous player tells me such a power will always be used to instantly negate any cleaverly set trap or ambush. I'd like to see what "LIteral Copy" actually means. If you somehow can rip off people's learned techniques because of it... I can understand getting bloodline powers though. Though not derived techniques from that bloodline. Also wanna know how she acquires DNA. Just touches someone? Eats thier hair folicle?
Also you have mentions of the Devil Side but no clue given as to what the Devil Side actually means.

Ikihana was a tough one to profile...
Finger Torch: I agree it's probably too weak. Maybe she can create and maintain up to five at once?
Simple/Advanced Conversion: These two techniques are derived from her alchemy, and are not actually jutsu. In the show (Ikihana and Kosuko's alchemy is inspired by FMA), the change is permanent, though I agree it should cost something to maintain, likely a constant flow of chakra/energy/whatever, and then some expiration time after she looses contact with the object. As far as the nervous system thing, she would have to be directly touching the portion of the system she plans to ******** up. I'll include that in the description. Density does not matter.
Razor Whip: the same way a whip would, it would just leave a scratch. The assumption that there is no penetration power is correct.
Tail Hold: I agree. I was running out of creative juices. xD
Kekkei Genkai: Predicting and preventing ambushes would be the point of the sixth sense. A GM needs to account for the strong sixth sense that some people do in fact have, and if they don't want to deal with it, then they need to put that in the rules for their game/campaign/etc. By "Literal Copy," I mean just that--an exact genetic copy. Things that are genetically based, such as physical strength and features, are copied. Things that are not genetically based, such as memories and the knowledge of how to use learned jutsu, are not copied. She would be able to do what they can, but wouldn't know how unless she already knew. As for getting DNA...DNA is DNA. What code she gets, she can use, and what she can't get, she can't use.
Purposely didn't put the Devil stuff because I don't intend on using it, as she currently is. This entire profile will be ripped to shreds and re-vamped in about a month or so anyway. I have half a mind to just make the new one and just use the old profile until then.

I'll put it simply: Both the Alchemic techniques and the Kekkei Genkai are entirely overpowered and unacceptable, even considering your character's specie.
In the case of the Kekkei Genkai: The mimic ability is perfectly fine, but the Sixth Sense, as well as having two Kekkei Genkai period, is overdone.
Alchemy: The large variety possible in the ability as well as the lack of any cost outside of chakra for such an intense ability (this is overpowered in comparison to Elemental Ninjutsu, moving through the earth, Summoning Jutsu, or even moderate Genjutsu. And it's Genin and/or Chuunin Rank?!)
Mind, this is the opinion of one mod and I'd like more than one opinion from another mod to either agree or disagree, and provide, if disagreeing, logic that proves that these abilities aren't overdoing it.

Call me covetous, but one hair and she has the Sharingan? The Byakugan? The Kekkei Genkai of the whoever's DNA she took? Remember, Kekkei Genkai are passed genetically.
Half devil with the Sharingan and Byakugan? Do I smell a Black Wolf Clansman?
Of course not, this is Ikihana. But still, do note the potential for misuse here. Even if I believe you'll never use it (And for the record, I do) it's still not something I can allow in good conscience
Now, as a GM, like Arc here, I have something to say on the nature of alchemy.
I hate it. Hate it, hate it, hate it.
There is something beautiful about weakness, I find. It breeds ingenuity. When we have only a stick, we learn to use that stick in masterful and magnificent ways, because we have nothing else. When we have everything, we learn to wield nothing, becuase weilding something is pointless when everything is at your disposal.
Not to mention how this conflicts so masterfully with the idea of "theme" that we try to instill.
And, as far as sixth sense goes. In any game I GM, it either doesn't exist, or it RARELY works.
Or, in other words, I agree with everyone else.

Yeah, I figured =/ Truth be told, I don't really know what to do with her. I think for now I'll just scrap this profile and use the old one until she changes, and then I might make the new one. Will have to talk to someone about rank, though.

Realized I should probably have something if Ikihana's going to go on her "rescue mission."
Took out the Devil Perceptions completely, and edited the alchemy techniques to be significantly less powerful. I'm using the mindset of "this is what is feasible in a combat setting." That is, in regular RP, she'd be able to do things like sprout wings or turn into a tree, but she is still too inexperienced to generate the necessary amount of focus to do so under the conditions of combat.
Feedback?

Super Cereal Time again:
Just making sure this is a two step process. With your Weapon Conversions does it work like "Advanced turns her right fist into a mass of steel. Then later she uses the Simple to turn that steel into an axe head." or does that presumably happen all during the first jutsu?
Also I'd like to see on the Simple Weapon Conversion something that requires touch to the target material. Otherwise you could do something like change the shape of a shuriken in your enemies hand into something that will stab them before they throw it, have blades that bend backwards to strike thier weilders, armors that choke out those that are donning them. Not cool.
I still see no reason why Tail Hold should be a "jutsu" really. I always had the feeling it had to be something more extraordinary. Like Ikari's Blade Catch which is a step beyond what someone could normally do, or something like Neji's Chakra Network attacks, or that wierd sword move that guy tried to do on Baki during the lull between exams that just got owned (What was it, Moon something or other... I barely remember it).
I still want to know how she gets some target's DNA. I mean what are you talking about, just touching someone and bam, you can thus get all thier abilities and the ilk? Drinking thier blood? What?
Weapons: Funny based on what you said in the OOC recently. But while YOU may not know if its true. And YOU may not know the triggers to do so. WE as Mods and GMs SHOULD know it. And we should have an idea just what Ikihana might have to accomplish to actually learn this. I'd expect something at least halfway involving, probably it's own medium length plot. As such I also would like to know just how it "heals" and how it "poisons" as there's a lot of different things such vague, general terms coudl invoke.

Advanced is not a two-step process. Why would there need to be? If you're changing the material into something else, why not go ahead and form it while you're working with it? The material needs to be formed to some extent anyway, since the new material is probably more or less dense and therefore won't have the same volume as the old.
Touch is required for conversions. I'll add that in.
I agree about the Tail Hold...It's pretty much just filling up a slot. Don't really know how spiffy Taijutsu are supposed to be? I'll work on it.
She gets DNA how anyone else would get DNA. Like sucking blood. Did I not clarify that the DNA needs to be consumed? I'll check and make sure. The DNA needs to some how enter her body and become a part of her. And remember that becoming a genetic copy of someone does NOT mean you can use their abilities. You're copying their BEING, not their MIND. Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you know HOW to or are ABLE to.
What did I say OOC about the weapons? I don't remember. There are a lot of things that haven't been set in stone about Ikihana, particularly concerning what went on while Chameleon was training her. And I literally don't know what triggers them beyond a chant of some sort. As in, I haven't written the chant. It's in a different language. <____< If Ikihana ever learns it, it's because she remembers it from something. Maybe something that went down during training. I dunno. =P
I'll plug in the specifics about the daggers (and all that other stuff) tomorrow. @_@

Except it's Naruto so having someone's DNA means having thier bloodline trait. Something I wouldn't want to allow on the off chance you get to collect various character's bloodlines. Especially the ungodly powerful ones I've seen floating around including the Sharingan for one, that Lightning Eye one, etc. I'd want something to say you couldn't have bloodline traits absorbed. But since those traits are specifically mentioned as being tied into DNA having you copy DNA doesn't leave much wiggle room to explain why you can't have them. And I think you can see why it would not be kosher to have one character have multiple bloodline traits on demand. Especially the more powerful ones.
I'll also say I don't like the current trigger you have. Reason why: Because it's an ace up the sleeve. It's based off "When I remember something obscure" and experience shows such things tend to happen "Exactly when I need it to turn a guaranteed loss into an easy win". If it was based on something you had to actively seek out, or contact someone else to find it eliminates it basically becoming that ace up the sleeve.
It's one of the reasons why on Ikari's bloodline, before it got killed off, I had mentioned "Will never be discovered in the heat of combat" in every version of the profile I had to list. Didn't make sense that he'd magically learn how to use it while he's got more pressing things on him mind, like a kunai to the face. Same for remembering some obscure terms in a language you don't normally speak. Might be something you remember when reading a book, watching a movie, whatever but not likely when you've got your life on the line.

Yes, but "having" still isn't the same as "using." Just because Sasuke "has" the sharingan doesn't mean he knows how to activate mangekyou. And even if she knows how to turn into the person that has it, and even if, while maintaining that form, she learned how to use it, she would only ever have access to whichever one she's currently possessing. And even if she were to maintain the form long enough to learn how to use it, she would have to spend additional energy/chakra to use the bloodline on top of keeping up her disguise. It simply is not feasible for her to be able to use others' K.G. during combat.
For the daggers...assume she already knows the chant. The only reason she doesn't is because I haven't planned the story behind it.

Added in the "on touch" bit to Simple Conversion, and put in the specifics of the daggers' natures. Still need to figure out the chant bit. I think with Chameleon it was a silent prayer. Anyway, I'll figure that out. :/
