Okay, I'd kinda like to know: What do you believe other people believe is your defining characteristic or trait?
For me, it's my hair. No doubt about it. I've been growing my hair since I was 9 and realised it was an easy way to avoid going to the hairdressers. Since then, I have grown it longer than most girls in my school, I have endured many an insult, and been mistaken for a girl many a time. Despite this, I am not going to cut my hair short until I start losing it (DAMN YOU MALE PATTERN BALDNESS) at which point I will shave my head bald.
So, I pass the mic to you:
What is your defining characteristic?

Definitely my eccentric personality. My appearance changes on a moderately frequent basis in real life, whether it be stylistic changes, haircuts or the like, but the one thing that has never changed is my near-bipolar ability to go from quiet shyness to utterly silly and overt and loud in a few seconds.
Also, the whole 'liking younger girls thing' is, according to my IRL friends, definitely my most defining trait.
God, I hate them at times. xd

My intelligence.
No, really. Stop laughing at me. I really am fairly smart, most of the time. I just like to act silly because it's fun.
It's actually one of the things that makes me less noticeable. I don't seem to stand out much at all until I open my mouth. My features are fairly plain, my personal style is very basic, and my personality is very subdued, so I'm just sort of there most of the time.

Most of my old schoolmates would say it was my complete randomness, my occassional boringness when I am not in the mood for randomness and my ability to retain useless knowledge.
Muy collegemates would know me for the same things, but also for my constant insistence on overelaborating everything.
So I suppose I could say it was random silliness then lol

My voice. My college friends think I should stop trying to be a forensic psychologist, and just start trying out to be a movie announcer, or a narrator. My one friend Eric said that in the first class we ever had together, he would always make it a point to sit in front of me so that way when I'd talk he could pretend he was on a game show. My friends from Highschool would always laugh when I would read in class, I'm not exactly sure why. Also, I use a lot of quirky words and I have a terrible tenancy to trip over all my words and stop making sense. 3

One of my friends actually went around and said what came to mind when she thought of each of us, and mine was knitting.

My ******** sunny as s**t disposition mad scream scream
Seriously though, all my customers are always telling me how happy and upbeat and cheerful I am. They tell me it brightens their day when I greet them ;D And that is how I'm going to take over the world, charm everyone onto my side and become the most powerful person ever without them ever noticing. /skillz

I want to hear this. Anyways mine would either be my anger or my humor depending on which group you talk to.

Hehe, my voice is a hell of a lot deeper than the voice I hear in my head razz When I spent a year at a drama academy type clubby thing, I was asked to do a sample song in my deepest tone of voice, which was an excercise all of the boys had to do so as to find who could be the main bass voice for some of the songs we were going to do, when it came to me, afterwards everyone, even the teacher, said "What the hell? How do you do that?" rofl
