How do I make this empathy go away? I can't go to parties because I get a headach. I have to be near the elements 24/7. I can't be near depressed people, and I can't figure out how to still have empathy AND limit it. It keeps growing, and it's really getting into my life. How do I sheild myself from others? How do I control my empathy, not let it control me?

i know you don't want to make you empathy go away for me, what i do i'm still trying to learn how to control it but i do have a technique try next time when you feeling overwhelmed just draw all tah tfeeling into you palm as energy, you'll feel it build but but then just let the energy sphere go and you'll feel soo much better. i know it's alot to bear but you are a strong person who can get through it.

You need to learn to meditate and fast.

the fastest and easyest form is the fire and void method. this will take all the pain and emotions your feeling and get rid of them.

wahmbulance ( this may dull your over all feelings/emotions for a short time) wahmbulance

Step one: close your eyes
Step two: in your mind picture a flame.
Step three: take every thing in your mind (emotions thoughts feelings pain happy sad you name it every thing) and put it in the flame untill you are left with nothing inside.
Step four: with nothing in your mind to fuel the flame it will burn out


you can leave a small flame in the back of your mind so that when ever you start to get overwhelmed just burn it all.


alternetly you can use this chant when you start to pick up to many feeling and emotions.


All I feel, I wish to seal.
Out with all, And in with none.

Shielding my friend. I had to go through the same thing. Just create a shield around yourself that has a reflective surface and bounce all those emotions back at them. Seal off your heart. Go outside and take a breather if you need to.

At the same time that is why raves are so fun because I get high off of their energy razz

Reflective shielding is not the best method to handle this.
As reflective shielding does not guarantee that anything is returned to the sender. More often then not a reflective shield will send the emotions off in random directions, and they will commonly catch random people off guard.

What she really needs to do is work on mental control through meditation.

Using any form of shield is like using pain killers for constant back pain. Your fine while your on the meds but the day you run out, the pain hits you double or triple fold. Even though its still the same amount of pain, you are just no longer capable of handling the old level.

With a shield she would be fine until the shield falls. at which point she would be over come by even the slightest emotional surge.
