So any day now I should be going into labor that means family and friends all coming over to the hospital to touch and handle my new born.I plan to ask everyone to wash there hands before they touch her but how can I be sure they did it right? I have been thinking of ways to make sure only clean hands touch my little one and I wanted your input. I don't want to be rude or offend anyone so if any of my ideas send mixed messages let me know.
*Idea one*
to show my appreciation for the support and kindness of showing up I was thinking of passing out hand sanitizer with sweet fragrances. They say it's made for sensitive skin and the nurses say the fragrance shouldn't be abrasive to the baby.
*Idea Two*
I also thought maybe giving out thank you cards with little reminders that say "Please Wash your Hands" or "Don't forget to wash your hands"
*Idea Three*
make an excuse so that no one can touch her. This idea was really my mothers she says that she didn't allow anyone to her children until we were at least 3 months
So what do you think? Have any other ideas?
