Say, have any of you guard girls/majorettes ever whacked yourself with your equipment? Heh. I almost broke my nose today with a baton. >>
Note to self: PAY ATTENTION TO DIRECTION OF SPINNING METAL RUBBER ENDED ITEM; IT HURTS WHEN CONNECTED WITH FLESH.
So, tell me your 'near death experiences'.. then again, that might be a little dramatic. xD

Homecoming night was rather cold and I hadn't bothered to buy a cushioned neckstrap for my tenor sax.
By the end of the game, I found out that my neck had chafed from the strap and I hadn't even noticed because I had gone numb from the cold.
It hurt like a mother when I got home.

we were doing suicides in our band room for drumline tryouts and I slid into one of the lockers 0_0
Also, i fell backwards once, my hand fell on my pencil, broke it in half and my hand was swollen for quite awhile

It rained buckets at our Homecoming, and we were doing a drill where we all had to RUN to our positions.
I totally biffed, and hit my head rather hard on my sousaphone in the process. I had a pretty good heaache for about three days afterwards. The video of the show is pretty funy, though.

I was playing my trombone when the other trombone player hit my slide and hit my mouthpiece into my teeth.
Oww! Luckily my lip didn't bust open but it was a bit swollen.

My instrument locker is on the bottom near the door, A bass drum was coming in after practice and I didn't realize that his drum was right above my head when I stood up from putting my flute away. I hit my head on his bass drum, HARD. It hurt really bad. Plus, he didn't even realize that I had hit my head. It sucked!

well, we all know of the guard girls who end up hitting the band right? well someone hit the bell of my horn, the horn came back and knocked in my 2 front teeth. it cost 5000 dollars to get them back in place...

xD At the end of band class, the smaller insturments keep their cases under their chairs, and I always hold my flute vertically over my shoulder as I get my case and I always manage to wack myself in the head with it. Thankfully no one has seen me do it yet sweatdrop whee

the woodwinds pass through the brass, and the two ppl I had to go through was a flute on my left and a tuba on my right, lets just say I carried a pill bottle for evey practice

I've had terrible injuries myself from being in pit.
Suspended cymbal (literally one of the hanging ones) on a windy day...not good.
Trying to catch the wind chimes while holding the cymbal and trying not to hit the two together along with the second cymbal...nearly impossible.
Oh and I've dropped the trap table on my foot several times in trying to get it off the stand; I've set the gong on my foot, we almost ran a trumpet over with the concert bass drum...
This has been a painful season x_x

One of my friends was putting up her stand in class and it got stuck so she stood on the bottom and pulled up harder and the stand came off the pole and cut her lip. She's scared of stands now.

I have had multupull things happen to me....
1: My cubby is behind are percusion.... I have no clue what its called but its this 50lb metal... What looks like a hub cap... and one day i put away my trumpet and someone knocked over this thing and landed on my head... Well 4 hrs later i awoke in the er with staples in my head xD
2: Are band room sinks down to where the band director is... and well one night (performance night) there wasnt andy chares in the room (they were on stage) and well i tripped and fell down all the way and knocked the Band Directer down.... I broke my wrist... my trumpet... and the Band directors nose....
3: On are way back from contest with the naboring schools... we were walking onto the stage and well everything was going great... Untill ong of the percusion mallets broke and lodged itself into the nape of my neck.... I screamed in pain.... and when contest ended.... This is the cool part.... The judges said we saounded amazing and that my scream was perfect.... But we got like a point taken away cuz it wasnt of the score.... We were playing music to a scary movie.... and it was the part where they would scream and die xD Talk about great timming....
Abd well there are more.... But.... i dont feel like talking about them so G'bye for now

well last marching season i played tuba TT^TT,,, there was this one formation we did where we went in a circle backwards,, it looked cool and i had never had a problem with it before,, but it was wet and cold,,, the tenor sax player in front of me, in this circle, he was speeding up,, i don't know why, but last years drum major was lazy to say the least.. I slipped in the mud trying to speed up so (name with held) wouldn't hit me,, oh well.. he falls on top of me and his butt bends my mouth piece.. thats why i did pit this year 4laugh

Me (if i remember them all):
broken ankle from rolling it just learning how to backmarch
broken toe from pit leaving their instruments where the band runs laps
concussion from a major collision with tuba, tiny me flutist, and bass drummer
busted up lip from sax
carpal tunnel from sax
and many more haha i'm always the one that gets hurt
My drum major busted his head open last year from sprinting to get a stand and heading right into a shelf. he had 4 staples put in his forehead. it was funny cuz the drumline captain said "uh...dude...ur bleeding"
