Ebere huffed faintly as a very rare frown crossed her muzzle. She had made the mistake of falling asleep near a family of monkeys and when she woke up she found herself draped from head to tail tuff in thick vines quiet tangled and tied up. "Well...shoot."

Romping around away from his den after sneaking out, Tamu held a wide grin on his face. He had seen his uncle sneak out lots of times, cause of his overly protective grandmother, but he himself had never been audacious enough.
Looking down at his paws, watching the soft dirt poof up as he stepped down. It was fun to be out in the sunshine like this. Even if there were predators lurking, this small cub was oblivious to any and everything other than the grass in front of him.
The sun bore down from the sky, and he panted lightly, looking around for a place to take a break and a quick nap. It was in his nature, after all, to take naps regularly. He began to pad over towards a tree, hoping that there was something soft for him to sleep on.

Before he could settle into his nap, he would hear a female's voice call to him. Her voice was gentle and soft, but slightly worried, " Um excuse me young man? Could I have a moment of your time?" The thingt hat called to him looked like some sort of vine monster.

His bum still sticking in the air from his readiness to plop down, Tamu froze. His ears swiveled to the side, his tail dangling nervously. It wasn't a bad voice that said something, just an....invisible one. Upon approaching the tree, he thought that he'd scanned the area thoroughly, but apparently his scan wasn't good enough. He still had a lot to learn from his mother.
"Helloooooo......?" He jumped to the side, eyes squinting as they flicked around. At first, they completely grazed over the large lump of green that lay just a few feet in front of him. "Greeeeeeen...." His eyes grew wide and his torso dropped in pounce-position, wiggling up close to the lump.

"Yes, hello," the lump said with a soft chuckle. "I am afraid those naughty monkeys have be quiet bound. "Could you be a dear and possibly untie me? Or go get help?"

"Monkeys?" Tamu pawed at the thick vines, liking the texture of them on his paws. He only vaguely tossed the idea of monkeys around in his mind, toying with it briefly before moving on.
"But you're so big!" With a quick leap, he tossed himself on top of the lump of vines, stretched out with his paws dangling above the ground. He wiggled, feeling his soft stomach rub against the vines.
"You should probably ask them to let you out." He grinned, eyes half closed in a smug expression. He had no plans on releasing her any time soon. Noooo, it was too much fun playing on a lump of vines.

The vinelump grunted faintly but chuckled all the same when he jumped ontop of it. "I am afraid dear that the monkies don't reason like you and I do. Them seem to think I am trespassed on their lands. " Not that she really minded him laying on her, he was a sweet little cub and she had always had a soft spot for all babies.

"Well, maybe this was their den." His brown eyes flicked upwards, wondering what it'd be like to sleep in a tree. His mind started to drift again, and it was only after a few more seconds of silence did he remember what he was sitting on.
"Do you have any babies?" Tamu adored playing with green cubs. His best friend, in fact, was a green cheetah. They were always just so much fun.

"I don't have any babies yet. But I hope to some day and I hope they are as curious as you." She couldn't help but laugh, even still trapped. He was such an engauging young thing. So bright and cheerful.

"Mmm, green." He squished his face in a smile, gleeful at the prospect of little green lion cubs. "Hopefully they don't get attacked by monkeys." He leaned down, starting to knaw on the vines in fun. His small teeth slowly tore through the thick vines, but didn't do too much damage to it.
"I want to have some babies, so they'll follow me around and do what I say!" The whole concept of how babies came about never really stuck with him. He just wanted to have a small gang to run around with.

The lioness laughed softly, " I am sure you will be a great father some day little one. Till then though you should enjoy being a cub and playing. I miss being a cub sometimes. It was so much fun running and playing hide and seek with my daddy and aunts." She purred softly thinking about her family. She knew even though they were gone they still watched over her from the heavens.

"Oh." Tamu's foot gently slipped off the vines, his tone depressed. "I wish I had a daddy sometimes." He had to admit, growing up with an over protective mother and grandmother, two sisters, and an uncle that was his age was pretty hard on the small cub. Once his uncle left the den, he found his time wasting away. His sweet personality was attributed to all of the females in his family, though, so it wasn't a totally horrible thing.
"My family's kinda wacky." He rested his head in his front paws, looking down at the lioness' face. "There are a lot of girls." He laughed, thinking of them. He had a small family, only ever spending time with his one sister, as his other was blind. "But girls are all right."

She rumbled a soft purr up at him, " Well I am very glad you think so sweetheart. As or families, well they are suppose to be kind of odd or they wouldn't be your family."

"I suppose." Extending a claw, Tamu moved his paw under a vine, swiping upward. Being a cub could be really frustrating at times, but at least he could help in this little way. "When you have babies, you need to make them play with me." He smirked, dreaming of a green army.
He began to slide off, wiggling his rear until his paws touched the ground. He stretched his legs out, wandering over next to her face. "Gonna get up now?"
