Kaikara was hungry--and she'd found that food was harder and harder to come by nowadays. But, she had taught herself to get better and better at gathering food...and had her hoard that she had gathered over the past week or so, a good amount too.
Though the mutt of sorts didn't seem all that friendly, she understood how other cats with less experience weren't able to find food as easily as she might. Including her new...friend of sorts. Remy was an interesting cat, and she hadn't quite figured him out, but she wanted to get to know him better...so she included him in her little charity for the week.
Slowly but surely Kai had spread the word of this meeting place, a buffet she was setting up for all of the lesser-collared cats. Humming after setting up the last few dishes, Kaikara took a few steps back and sat back on her haunches to look over the picnic she'd set up. Anything from scraps on chipped plates to bowls of fruit, sushi, fish, some soup that was luke warm, but good enough for her, and other such things that she'd managed to snag from shops, restaurants, dumb humans that handed food out to her, and bags of groceries that had been left on the ground for a little too long.
So far, she'd sent Remy out to gather something small...that's all she asked, each cat go out and retrieve something small to share with the other cats that gathered. From the cats she'd run into, Kai had been told to calm down or chill out...be friendlier. So here was her 'friendliness' to prove she wasn't the stuck-up b***h that she passed herself off as.
Now to wait. There was a large bowl of water that she'd managed to fill from the fountain in the middle of the park, so she hoped the cats would have just about everything they needed to fill their bellies and be content for a day or two. The small cups that were stacked up next to the bowl were a little scuffed, but still, real cups! Maybe she should stop taking things from the humans...they might figure it all out sooner or later. But that required them to use their brains, so she doubted it.

Padding through an alleyway, Remy looked around curiously before spotting a garbage bag that had been split open. Probably stray dogs or something. Hopping over, he pawed through some at the top, pouting a little when he found no food. Clothes and toys. Boring. Couldn't eat those.
Continuing his search through the few garbage bags laying around, Remy let out a loud squeal of happiness when he found...a piece of donut! Chocolate icing and sprinkles and everything! "Yum!" And it was almost the whole donut, what the hell! Why would someone throw this away! Grabbing the donut, Remy began to drag it back down the alleyway, humming happily. Kai would definitely like this!
It took him a short time to get the food back to where Kaikara had set up their little buffet, but when he did he pranced up to Kai with icing smeared over his scars, grinning proudly. "I brought you a donut!" he chirped, ears perked and little nub a-going happily.

The kid was cute, she'd give him that. And he seemed so ready to please, he was like a little minion.
Looking up when she heard him coming, Kaikara grinned and stood, turning to face him as he plopped the donut down and wiggled his tail so happily. So ******** cute.
"Good job," she chimed, motioning to the assortment of food and things so he could pick a place to put it. If he wanted to eat it, it was up to him, but eh. "I donno if anyone is actually going to show up," she laughed, "I didn't invite anyone face-to-face. So you can eat if you'd like," she didn't know how much he'd eaten--and Kai was trying to be on her best behavior, not wanting to see bitchy right now. Standing to wander after him either way, she couldn't help but reach up to give a little tug of the stub of his tail. So cute.

She liked it~ Good~ He knew everyone liked donuts!
Smiling widely, he nodded and immediately bounced over to a fruit bowl. His family had used to give him bits and pieces of everything, and one of his favourites were grapes. Plucking one up, he hummed and sat down, batting it between his paws like a ball before chomping on it happily.
"Are'cha gonna eat?" he asked through a mouthful of grape, chewing widely. Plucking up another grape with his paws, he set it down and rolled it over to Kai with a smile, some grape juice dribbling down his chin. "These are good!"

The kitten's smile was so cute. Shaking her head a bit, she circled the blanket of food, wondering if she should get the rest out or not...this seemed like it could feed an army though.
Looking to the manx when he toyed with the grape, she rolled her eyes, "Ever heard of not playing with your food?" Kaikara teased, evident laughter in her tone. Strange how he could make her calm down so much, maybe it was his stubbornness and...well, she wouldn't call it charm, moreso annoying-natured but that was fine. She was angry, he was annoying. They were quite a pair.
Plucking the grape up with her claws she sprawled out on her tummy, propping the grape between the pads of her paws and nibbling at it. The mixed breed loved fruit, it was a dirty pleasure honestly. Give her fruit over rats any day. "You been exploring at all, runt?" The nickname still stuck, she found it cute, "I dont see any new scars on you, so I'm hoping you haven't gotten into any trouble."

Rolling onto his back, Remy played with another grape idly, huffing. "I'm not a runt!" He was just...small. Not runtish. Rude! Rolling over and chasing after the grape as it rolled away, he grabbed it and plopped back into a sitting position.
At the mention of his scars, he wrinkled his nose and lay down on his belly, hiding his nose behind his paws. They were...well he wasn't very proud of his scars, to be quite honest. They were still fairly newish too, pink and angry and probably going to stay that way for a while.
Screw fighting.
"Nope," he hummed, sitting up again and nibbling the grape. "Well. A little. But not much. There are scary people around here," he huffed, nub thumping irritatedly. Plus humans, and dogs, and...well. Nothing good. He had even been attacked by some birds!
Okay so maybe he was smaller than he liked to think, but he certainly was no runt!

At his obvious discomfort when she brought up his scars, she sighed a bit and cocked her head at him. He was so...outward with his emotions, it was interesting to see.
"No humans have messed with you, right?" She commented with a frown, finishing off her grape and pushing herself to stand. Padding over to him, she seated herself next to him--being decently larger than him. But then again, she was older...and probably fed herself a lot better than he did.
"You know," she began, lifting one of her paws up to tap a talon to her lower lip, "I might have something to make those scrapes less irritated," Kaikara mused quietly, reaching over to hook her palm under his jaw and turn his head this way and that. Those were pretty nasty, but she didn't want to ask how he got it--she herself had a huge scar running from her left eyebrow to the back of her head. Harder to see now that she was healed, but it was evident the fur there grew in quite a bit lighter than the rest.
"Stay here," letting him go, Kaikara pushed herself to her feet and padded over to a tree, scaling it in moments to disappear up into what was left of the foliage there. Was it cliche for cats to keep their stuff in the hole of a tree? This one was huge, so it housed her and most of her food and worldly possessions.
Hunting through, she picked up bottles and tubes of medicine, tossing each one off to the side as she went. Yeah, she was a bit of a klepto when it came to certain things. Ha! But here it was.
Quickly, she rushed out of the tree and slid back down the trunk, her claws leaving long marks down the bark of the tree. Holding a tube of 'scrape and burn' ointment in her mouth, Kai sat back down in front of him and dropped the tube. "I used this on my cut," she grinned, "Maybe it'll help you."

He was more like a dog than anything else, really. His human had even taught him to fetch...Pushing the thoughts from his mind, he watched her climb the tree before looking around again. Sushi, hmm. His family had always gone on about wonderful it was...padding over, he grabbed something that smelled vaguely like tuna and began nibbling at it. Mm, fairly good.
Straightening up when Kaikara came back down, he smiled and bounced a little on his paws. "You have a scar?" he asked, cocking his head. Looking over her, he blinked. He hadn't seen one...'There?" he asked, touching her head with his paw where there was some lighter fur. "You can't even tell it's there..." Maybe the stuff would help. Here's to hoping.

Kiss Kiss Fall in love
Benihime had heard of some collard kitten gathering set up by this Kaikara female. She was intrigued by this, though she had no problem catching her food now she wanted to meet others and see if they had the same...problems she did. She was still fighting her fear at meeting new people and having people come up behind her. She was carrying a bag behind her, it was a plastic bag she had nicked from the sidewalk where some lady was bring in stuff. It had sausage and tea bags in it. She hoped that it would be good. She walked closer to where the meeting was said to be at and saw a cream spotted kit and a black stripped kitten. She stopped before she was visible to them and fluffed her fur and made sure she wasn't dirty any where. She picked the bag up again and lifted her head high as she walked into the area. "Ello." She said around the bag in her mouth that was being pulled out behind her.Maybe you're my love!

Asher had heard something about a gathering of new kittens getting together for food. He hadn't eaten a lot in a long time, having just recently been abandon and all. He hated hunting, he didn't really enjoy digging through garbage and he felt his stomach grumble as he watched the group from the distance. He gave a small mew and looked around. Everyone was bringing food! He hadn't managed to get any, he had tried his best and now... he was failing.
He cautiously approached the group, staying low to the ground. When he got closer, he looked up at all of them, "I... Hi." He looked at the mass amounts of food around him, his mouth starting to water. He looked at the older cat, the one he assumed had organized the get together, Kaikara, he lowered his ears and dropped his tail, "I... I'm really sorry. I tried really hard to get something, but... I couldn't find anything. I can go get some if you want me too."
He was failing as an abandon cat.

"I do," she nodded, lowering her head a bit when he touched her scar, "Yep. Fence cut me when I was running from the humans," she laughed, "Suckers couldn't fit under the fence. Hope it cut them up, too," she grinned, a little maliciously, but she cared nothing for humans--at all.
So she showed no false like for them. At all.
Unscrewing the top of the tube, she pushed at it with one of her paws to get a decent amount on the pad of her paw--pausing to glance back at the newcomers. A little white kitten and a bigger male. Hm.
Grinning, she scooted off to the side slightly and reached up to plunk her paw, with the cream, atop Remy's nose. It didn't splatter, thankfully. Rubbing it over the cuts tenderly, she was mindful of his eyes, and tried to keep the cream just over the scars rather than on his black fur, "Welcome," haha, more food from the white kitty, "If that's food you can put it with the other stuff and help yourself."
Arching a brow at Asher, a cat she vaguely remembered, she chuckled and flicked her tail. Looking back to Remy, she pulled her paw away when the cream was rubbed in the rest of the way, "That's fine, there's plenty of food," she'd make him pay her back later or something.
"You can keep this tube, it's almost out...I have another if you need more. Just put it on twice a day."
Well this was interesting. Free food! Who could argue with that?
Padding towards the meeting area, he held a decently sized fish in his mouth--fresh, still cold. Made his teeth hurt, but whatever. Pre-gutted and put on ice at the shops, he was pretty damn proud of himself.
Hell, he was a large cat, and this fish could feed him plus some. Why not hand it over for a ticket to getting into a buffet? Ha! he loved it.
"Hello there ladies~" He purred, not correcting himself when he noticed the two males. They were cuties too anyway. Flicking his tail at Asher as he passed him, Falcon grinned at him playfully and plopped the fish down on the plate with the sushi. "I brought my payment, now what?" Kaikara rolled her eyes at him, making him grin wider.

Ew. The cream stunk. Bad. Screwing his eyes cross-eyed to look at his nose curiously, he watched her rub the ointment in. "You don't miss your family?" he asked quietly, looking up when he noticed some more cats coming their way. Food! More! Shoving the conversation to the back of his mind to continue later, he smiled and wriggled his nose as his nub wagged.
"Hello!" he chirped, prancing up to the white kitten first. Sniffing at her bag in interest, he hummed and smiled. Moving over to the two males, he smiled and perked his ears at the fish. He loved fish. "I'm Remy!" he introduced to them.
Okay so he was sociable, was that a bad thing?
Prancing back over to his half-eaten sushi roll, he ate some more before wiggling his tail happily again.

Beni smiled at the other cats even though she kinda felt fear building in her. She shook it off and took the food to where Kai had said. She looked up at the brown male who looked into her bag and smiled. "Hello." she said sounding confidant even though she wasn't sure she wanted him so close right now. He was cute with his blue eyes and pretty stripes but she didn't want others close to her just yet, except her mommies. She pulled the sausage out of the bag and then the box of tea. She looked at the other cats as she walked over to the edge of the food table. She looked at the fluffy coffee brown male with the torn ear who seemed playful and looked away wondering what to do with this building fear...she needed to get over this which is mostly why she was here in the first place. She pushed the images of blood out of her mind and smiled, looking sweet and friendly like she wanted to. She didn't want them to see her in pain cause she wanted friends. She wanted them to like her and maybe pay attention to her...maybe she could get one of the males to spoil her a little, though she wasn't holding her breath and she might hurt them if she got too scared...but hopefully it didn't come to that.Maybe you're my love!

Flicking his tail about curiously, he noticed the little white female acting pretty...skittish. What was this? This was supposed to be fun!
So, after he'd grabbed himself a bite of sushi, he snatched up another and padded over to her without a second thought, making sure not to rush up into her face or anything. Smiling playfully, he extended his paw out to set the sushi roll down in front of her, then his own down near his paws, and plopped onto his rear end.
"Ever had sushi, sweety?" He needed to work on the cute nicknames for people--but whatever, "Try it," another smile, and he poked at his own sushi roll, "I'm falcon, by the way. What's a pretty little thing like you running around all alone for?"

Benihime looked over at the male who walked up to her and pushed some sushi at her. "Yes my mommy's bring it to me alot. My name is Benihime, you can call me Beni or Hime though if you like." she said as she pulled the fish out of the middle of the sushi and ate it. She was trying to calm down and was getting a little better but she wondered why this male chose to talk to her. She shifted in closer to herself as she nibbled on the rice. "I'm out here cause i wanted to meet others." And see if anyones scared like i am...though i don't need to tell him that. She looked over him and smiled softly. "I live not far away and i wanted to look around a little while my mothers are distracted. One of my mommies doesn't like me leaving the house alone, since i came back to them they like me staying with them." she said with a small smile. She shook the blood and fear out of her head as she ate the rest of the roll at her feet and looked at him. "What about you? Why are you out here alone?" she asked with a curious look in her eyes.
