I've gone through 3 years of my screenshots and I can only find one example of sexism, lol.
My writing class assignment is to write an exposé/informative type of dealy, so I thought I'd do one on WoW or something about how racist, sexist, homophobic(? maybe. there's a lot of gay dudes at my school & i think my prof is.), and egocentric the WoW population is and some psychology of that bullshit. This is a pretty un-serious paper so idk really.
Basically I can't make 7 pages about this without plagiarizing the Daedalus project so I need screenshots so I can make pretty diagrams and examples. I also think my teacher is a little sexist and he likes black humor etc so screenshots probably will get me a better grade.
TL;DR:
Post screenshots of girls being told to get in the kitchen in wowchat.

God, I looked through ALL my screenshots and had nada. Unless you count a feral gnome wanting to pee on a tree druid...
If I can remember I'll do some PvP and see what I can find. I'm in battlegroup 9, everyone's an a*****e in PvP. x.x Really, if you're in a losing BG and someone doesn't call you a faggy retard then there's something wrong...

OH! and there is constantly racism/prejudice against gnomes!
(Where is the gnome-version of MLK when you need him?!)

So I was thinking...
In all my years of wow, Ive never actually seen any really sexist remarks, Of course ive seen the "Theres no girls on the internet" crap spam over the time, But nothing really thats sexist.
Remember alot of the wow population is scared of the female kind and insulting them limits there chances at well anything in life. Not just sex.

Oh give me a day. I have about 5 years of SS saved. I should have some ism stuff. If you look on the R and D forums. Not sure if they deleted the pure female guild took down Illidan thread from back in the day.

I used to have a vent recording of a guy who bitches for about half an hour about how I must have sucked d**k to get the first piece of tier 4 our guild got. 9_9

Damn! I just deleted two SSs that were totally sexist, albit funny.
The only thing is, the female character is actually a guy is real life. Nobody needs to know though. >.>
The main one was something about an elephant, pants falling, and it all going downhill from there. I knew I shouldn't have deleted it.

I've seen quite a few. In our guild, there is even a "Maid" rank, which gives access to the cooking tab of our guild bank. I am this rank -.-'. I was a Soldier.. but noooo. Now the few girls in the guild are all Maids!
We've also had a few remarks on Vent too. For example, when i joined the guild on my trial raid all those years ago, when i first spoke on vent i got the "OH GOD A GIRL IS ON OUR VENT!!! GET IT AWAY!!!"
And then remarks about how i shouldn't be playing wow and should be off doing something more girlie.... never good xD

Lets see. I think I know someone that has an SS of when my one guildy got banned for making a joke about the holocaust. I have another screen shot of someone calling my druid gay for the way they look. And I could link you every ism thread on the forums. Hell yesterday there was one about how people tolerated homosexuals in groups. That thread went down in a hurry x_x Edit: Let me dig up a little WoW blog about my guild. We made front page news on WoW.com when my GM posted. "Even with the nerf to algalon's damage. We offset any nerf with the amount of female healers we bring."
