Story
The five deitys above had become very bored, and turned their eyes onto the town of Linoon. At midnight they created a barrier over Linoon to prevent any from leaving and froze everywhere else in time. Within the barrier a shower of orbs of power descended toward unknowing civilians, two each homing in on them. The ones that were chosen were overcome for a single overpowering instant, when they were given a message, many asleep at the time would think of it as a vivid dream, those awoke would have no such explanation.
"You are one of the many that have been granted two of the vast powers of the five deitys who rule over your world. You can do with them as you wish, but know that there will be people like you who were given power and will try to take yours. Should you gather all the powers that descended upon Linoon, you will become the sixth deity. To gather them all you must fight someone of equal power to show you are worthy."
Will you strike down your fellow civilians for power? Or will you band together to survive the ordeal? The choice is yours.
Specific Info
*It is present day time in the Summer.
*The powers are held in transparent orbs that shine silver.
*When touched (unmerged) or focused on (merged) a name and description appears in your mind.
*If slain, your orbs of power rise and hover above you allowing anyone to take them.
*If knocked out, you keep your orbs.
*Those with 6 power orbs have a silver aura and give off a threatening prescense giving fear to those weaker and will use 6+ abilities.
*An orb of power can be pulled out whenever the weilder wishes, possibly for a trade.
*Any power can be charged for about 10 seconds to double its overall performance.
*Some powers like most blessings that power you up will stay for awhile and can be cancel or reapplied.
*A power can only be in use once and cannot be recasted until the previous cast of it has resolved.
*Since this is a game to the 5 deities, should they get bored they may interfere.
*Any type of non power weapon (gun, knife, ect.) used against one with powers is nulled by a barrier the deities control, this does not apply to force applied from body or surroundings.
*When one gets half the powers they can only get more power by defeating another with half the powers. Should they slay another they may switch out abilities but can only be merged with 25 at one time. They can carry the rest with them and give them to their opponent to be able to fight for complete power.
*The barrier over the town was placed by the Deity's so it cannot be broken. When close enough to it, it will give off a shimmering bubble like appearance.

*The obvious (no god modding, flaming, ect.)
*Follow the above specific info.
*The powers are as listed and cannot be manipulated/changed without my permission.
*As a mod (vice captain) in this guild I can delete/remove your post if I choose should I find it offensive or somehow wrong. I will send it to you in a pm with my reasoning so you may make the changes and repost it.
*The five deitys are only controlled by Nalei of the Sirens (me).
*No harrassing a specific member in the guild. This is a survival rp but I will not allow it to give someone a sad day. Send any complaints to me.
*More may be added as needed.

Teia moved fitfully in her sleep during the divine intervention and when it passed she opened her eyes sitting up gasping for air, remembering fragments of the message while supporting her head with her left hand.
"Two powers... take yours... Linoon...sixth deity..."
She gave a heavy sigh and closed and reopened her eyes to calm herself, then looked around the room. The message seemed to fade away from her mind as most dreams do the moment she calmed down.
"What a crazy dream..."
She moved her unruly hair from her eyes and looked at the time on her bedside digital clock as it turned to 12:01 am.
"Hmm..."
She layed back down on her comfy bed still tired from the previous day and in a few minutes was asleep once more.

A loud ringing noise woke Teia up from her sleep at 7:00 am and she lazily clicked the snooze button on her bedside clock, her sleep disrupted by the dream. Seemingly seconds later it rang again saying 7:01. She clicked snooze again and again seemingly seconds later it rang saying 7:02. She sat up and glared at the clock.
"No fair... your supposed to let me sleep longer, not speed it up where I don't..."
Now awake and having given up on going back to sleep she moved out of her covers and turned her morning alarm off and on to stop it from ringing and have it ring again for her tomorrow. With a loud yawn she stood from her bed and went to the shower taking a relaxingly warm shower to wake her up slowly. 10 minutes later she emerges breathing in the calming warm air and dries off, wrapping a towel around her and her hair before going to her closet to get dressed. Leaving her room in her purple sweat suit she goes back to her bathroom and puts her hair up into a ponytail to let it dry how she wanted it to and goes to the kitchen making toast, drinking a glass of milk while waiting for it. Once it pops up she snatches it, butters it, and runs out her door with the toast in her mouth, locking it behind her. She dashes over to the park and begins her morning run, munching on her toast on the sunny summer Saturday.

Vereth gave a yawn as he sat on a bench in the park. It was nearing midnight in the peaceful town of Linoon. Though he looked tired, he was rather estatic at getting the job he had been seeking. Playing in an orchestra, it had been his dream ever since he started playing his violin.
Bringing his violin case to his lap, he ran his fingers across the smooth texture of the case.
"We made it V. We made it..." he said with a smile.
Suddenly, he felt like he was slammed into by a great force. the force was so great, he couldn't even breathe for the short time the pressure was upon him. As the crushing force rested on top of him, a voice floated in the air without any direction from whence it came. It told him about what was taking place and that he had received two powers from them to do with as he pleased.
As sudden as the force hit him, it just as quickly dispersed leaving Vareth gasping for breath.
"What...just happened?" pondered the violinist as he tried to calm down.

The sun embraced the sky as the crisp morning air gave chills to the early birds. For Vareth, he was still sitting on the bench he had been at midnight. That force that had visited him was no illusion and he spent the numerous hours after trying to make sense of it all. Though he had been gifted these two amazing powers, it scared him to try them out. After all, what if there was a catch to this? Or maybe an evil purpose lingering in the shadows...
It was these thoughts floating around in his mind that caused him to pull out V and start to create a soft melody to set his mind back on track.

Staying up late in his apartment, Kite was playing an online game.
"Alright, I'll take you on!"
He said over a voice chat to his much higher level opponent. Their online battle ensued and right before Kite would have been dealt a finishing blow he was assaulted by the gods' message. He feel over in his chair from the force of it and when it passed slowly got back up.
"Is this... some joke?"
Kite looked around the room, but as it should be being the sole patron of the room he rented, he was alone. He looked at his hands, confused at what power was mentioned, then he suddenly realized he was still playing the game. He got up with a start but instead of hurrying to get back to the game he set his chair up right and made all the wheel pointing one direction. Before sitting he corrected it so it faced the screen and then he hurriedly sat down. He had expected his character to have been slain, but his opponent and every other character near seemed to have stopped moving. He grab his mic and tries to speak to them.
"Hello? If you were waiting for me I'm back..."
There was no response from the other players since everywhere else had become frozen in time. He looked at his opponent and moved his character out of the way and placed a trap where he would move to that would freeze him. He smirked and then logged out. He stood from his chair and thought on the message, repeating it to himself. There must be some way to use these then. He focused and seemed to find within his mind's eye two silver orbs.
"Eh?"
He focused on them in his mind and lettering appeared over one, 'Ice Armor'. Intrigued he focused on the other, 'Summon Hellhound'.
"Alright how do I use them..."
Thinking on how fantasy characters often cast theirs he held out his hands.
"Well here goes. Ice Armor!"
He focused on the ice armor orb in his mind and ice gathered over him and then went out in spikes.
"Woah! It's... so random!"
He looked around himself with a soured expression and as he no longer focused the ice spikes diminished.
"Not sure how much I'll use that one... I'll need to 'perfect' it... Ack!"
He looked around his small room and saw that the spike had pierced and broken many things in the room, except thankfully his computer. His neatly stacked and organized bookshelf had fallen over and created a domino effect on anything without enough balance to withstand a small quake. Kite let out a big sigh and spent the rest of the morning straightening his room.

Sunlight peeked into the spotless room and seemed to reflect off everything, even the evenly groomed fiber strands of the carpet. Kite wiped the sweat from his brow and gave his masterpiece another look over.
"There... perfectly symmetrical."
He had decided to rearrange his room again to a different symmetrical scheme and was happy with the results. His stomach growled at him and he decided to leave to get breakfast, leaving his apartment and then buying some food at a doughnut place nearby before stopping by the pet store. As it was Saturday he didn't work, but he always liked to come in to see all the animals and make sure nothing was astray.

"So be it! I'll gather other powers to confront you then I'll use you to develop my research even further! Who can say they've done experiments on a god! Nyaahahahahaaa!"

Asleep in her luxury room, she was greeted by a voice which she thought was a dream but they were really in her mindscape. Bringing a hand to her chest, she called out to the voice.
"Is someone there?"

The voice said nothing more as it left her mindscape. Moments later, Alicia opened her eyes and looked around her dark room. Pressing a button, the Shilling's butler rapped his hand against the door minutes later. Walking in, he gave a bow.
"Is something wrong Miss Alicia?"
"Yes Pennace, please see to changing the tea I have before bedtime. It seems to have given me a strange dream this night."
"Very well Miss Alicia."

The next day, Alicia was outside at the pond within the Shilling Park feeding the rare fish her father had placed in there when she thought of the dream again.
"Such a strange dream the tea has caused. It is a shame to change from such a delicious tea but I do not wish to have more dreams of the sort."

Kuinakitty ~ During the congratulatory applause by her peers, she felt a force of some unknown power. A voice came along with it explaining the petty details. Feeling the force leave her, she gave a cattish grin before yelling in the room. ~ "So be it! I'll gather other powers to confront you then I'll use you to develop my research even further! Who can say they've done experiments on a god! Nyaahahahahaaa!"~ With that said she went back to her personal lab to...prepare room for her future test subject. ~ (I've never made a more evil character before. Thought I could go for it! whee Also, sorry for the short post.) Nyaru was leaning against a wall nearby and zoned out as usual when idle, during her performance. When the voice of the dietys intruded his mind he merely raised his head confused. With a clear head he was able to focus on the his two orbs and see their lettering. 'animate...bring something to life... screech...amplify voice...'When Elli spoke out he looked toward her and concluded she had heard it to. He remebered the part of others trying to take your powers and looked over the crowd but noticed none of the scientists give any inclination of experiencing it as well. "..."As Elli started to leave he got up from the wall and followed, his tail dragging across the ground nonchalantly. A thought came to mind and he focused on the orbs within him. He ran up to her and matched then her pace, staying diagonal from her while trying to get her attention. "Professer Elli..."He addressed her and waited patiently to be given a response. He hoped she wasn't having an overly excited moment and lash out at him. He held his right hand toward her, hovering over it were the two silver orbs he had been given.

Plus, there was this strange feeling in her chest when she looked at him after it was finished. (guilt just to clarify) However, she marked it down as indigestion. "What is it Nyaru?" she said while turning to him only to smile as she saw the orbs in his outstretched hand. It would seem Nyaru has proved his worth once again. She looked between them judging what each one could do. It was then she thought of something as she took the two orbs he offered. Focusing on the orb with the Null power, she gave it to Nyaru in exchange. "In our future battles, you will serve as my shield while I push further to my goal. This will suit you well in doing so."

Shutting the door after they entered, Elli began moving some of her chairs, tables, and just about anything else that caught her eye around to where she felt they should be. she then set up a prosthetic body as a target that was hooked to various wires and tubes to research it. She decided to try the animate life ability first hand fascinated by the body beginning to move on its own though still showed no sign of life on her equipment. "Yes, this will work well. Though it seems to require orders to do anything so that could be a draw back...would make a great ambushing power. Oh well, next ability..."Screech, the amplifier of sound. she would need to test its effectiveness. Moving to a cabinet, she pulled out some ear plugs and tossed them to Nyaru. She couldn't have him going deaf over this. Staring at her animated dummy, she yelled at it to test a voice's potential damage. Reading the graph after, the decibels ran around 95 Dbs. "Not bad, won't cause hearing loss just yet or anything that severe with just a voice. Being at the point of only having 3 powers might affect this as well since the powers grow in strength when you have more. Perhaps a sound with a higher frequency instead of just being loud."Grabbing an old chalk board she had lying around since she hadn't thrown it out yet, she placed her claws on it before scraping downwards. Checking her graph once again, she frowned as it was at the normal 90 dbs. Why did it not amplify the sound? She brought the orb out and her expression soured at it saying amplify voice only. Perhaps it could do sound when it gained power. "Stupid fine print..."Signaling to Nyaru to pull out his ear plugs, she tried her last power she possessed. Her body matched the coloring of her surroundings leaving a faint display of her as she moved around. "How well does it hide me Nyaru?"

Oh well, next ability..."Screech, the amplifier of sound. she would need to test its effectiveness. Moving to a cabinet, she pulled out some ear plugs and tossed them to Nyaru. She couldn't have him going deaf over this. Staring at her animated dummy, she yelled at it to test a voice's potential damage. Reading the graph after, the decibels ran around 95 Dbs. "Not bad, won't cause hearing loss just yet or anything that severe with just a voice. Being at the point of only having 3 powers might affect this as well since the powers grow in strength when you have more. Perhaps a sound with a higher frequency instead of just being loud."Grabbing an old chalk board she had lying around since she hadn't thrown it out yet, she placed her claws on it before scraping downwards. Checking her graph once again, she frowned as it was at the normal 90 dbs. Why did it not amplify the sound? She brought the orb out and her expression soured at it saying amplify voice only. Perhaps it could do sound when it gained power. "Stupid fine print..."Signaling to Nyaru to pull out his ear plugs, she tried her last power she possessed. Her body matched the coloring of her surroundings leaving a faint display of her as she moved around. "How well does it hide me Nyaru?"Nyaru watched her bring it to life and despite his calmness it forced him to raise an eyebrow. When she tossed him ear plugs he looked at her confused for a moment until he remebered she had gotten screech from him. He didn't hurry to put them in, but made sure they were in before she used it. His sensitive ears still picked up much of the sound, but its bite was suppressed. He stared at the chalkboard as she brought it out and prepared for the worst, but it wasn't much different. He was glad when she finally signalled for him to pull them out and he put them in a pocket for later use. When he looked back up he didn't see her for a moment till he noticed the faint outline from the lighting difference. "Invisible to those unperceptive, similiar to camoflage. The difference in light gives you away."He always gave full factual answers to avoid causing her to ask the question or part of it again. Since she had been trying out all the powers he expected her to wish to try out null. He read it once more before speaking. "To try out Null we would have to fight another, as animate, screech, and... the one you just used, would not fit the description."

"Then the Light Armor also has its weakness for now. Another ambush style ability. Standing still would probably help negate seeing me as easily." she replied in a thoughtful tone thinking of the possibilities.
Walking over to Nyaru, she handed him the Screech orb before going back to the other side of the room staring into a mirror. She stopped the Light Armor ability and looked at her new reflection with her cat appendages. Her face soured at the size of her cat ears since they were small and rounded. She started fixing her new pink hair into a different fashion to where she had her hair over each cat ear making it look like she had larger pointed cat ears. She gave a cattish grin satisfied with her new look though the plain lab coat would have to go. Rummaging through a dresser right next to her, it reminded her that she was glad she had her own personal lab since she no longer required a house. Everything she needed was right here. Pulling out some new clothes, she held them in front of her not liking the combinations.
(She is still in the clothing of her former image in my bio and just now changed her hairstyle to look like that of the present image.)
'I'll have to get something tailored to my tastes...' she thought to herself with a pout.
"The Null ability we will try in due time. Going by what it says, I can make out what it does easy enough." she said nonchalantly waving it off with her left hand not worried about that power. As she said that, she pondered on something else.
"Hold out your hand to the side."

Dark Kaze4 Vereth gave a yawn as he sat on a bench in the park. It was nearing midnight in the peaceful town of Linoon. Though he looked tired, he was rather estatic at getting the job he had been seeking. Playing in an orchestra, it had been his dream ever since he started playing his violin. Bringing his violin case to his lap, he ran his fingers across the smooth texture of the case. "We made it V. We made it..." he said with a smile. Suddenly, he felt like he was slammed into by a great force. the force was so great, he couldn't even breathe for the short time the pressure was upon him. As the crushing force rested on top of him, a voice floated in the air without any direction from whence it came. It told him about what was taking place and that he had received two powers from them to do with as he pleased. As sudden as the force hit him, it just as quickly dispersed leaving Vareth gasping for breath. "What...just happened?" pondered the violinist as he tried to calm down. ----- The sun embraced the sky as the crisp morning air gave chills to the early birds. For Vareth, he was still sitting on the bench he had been at midnight. That force that had visited him was no illusion and he spent the numerous hours after trying to make sense of it all. Though he had been gifted these two amazing powers, it scared him to try them out. After all, what if there was a catch to this? Or maybe an evil purpose lingering in the shadows... It was these thoughts floating around in his mind that caused him to pull out V and start to create a soft melody to set his mind back on track.
"How many laps should I do today... Maybe I'll go run at that old factory. Should be plenty of things to do ther-... hm?"
She began running in place upon hearing volin music and looked around for the sound. She noticed the instument in the hands of someone on the other side of a bench facing away from her.
"hmm..."
She walked over silently and sat down beside the bench listening.

She walked over silently and sat down beside the bench listening. He didn't notice her approach him by the bench since he had his eyes closed letting his hands guide him with his music. With one last stroke of the bow across the strings, he finished his final chord. Vareth gave a smile as he opened his eyes and put V back into her case before slumping onto the bench. Raising a hand into the air, he stared at it for a moment before speaking to himself. "What to do...well, I guess if anything...they're worth trying out once." Turning away from the sky, he noticed a girl sitting by the bench. Blinking a few times, he was mildly surprised he hadn't noticed her yet. "Hello?"

He had grown used to it and merely held on to the more positive descriptions of things over the dismissive when they no longer held her interest. He was startled by the sudden command, but did as he was to0ld without hesitation, raising his hand out to the side. "...?"
