Most RPing should be done here. Unless you have specific business in one of the other Leviathans, it is here.
That includes random locations around where the village is stopped. Most missions that doesn't take you outside the Cannogakure nearby area, random leviathans and homes, businesses, and offices that might be needed. This is to maximize the ability for interactions to easily happen, as well as to help keep an easily tracked chronological order.
You do have permission to create A SINGLE (Emphasis, not shouting) Roleplay thread in the main forum for your character. This is solely for any "Private" roleplaying you may want to do. And considering you only get one, be careful with how you set it up location wise. No Shapeshifting/Teleporting location, whatever that ONE PLACE (Emphasis again) is, you're stuck with it.

[Storage Room aboard a Trading Post Leviathan]
A thumping sound came before the fallen Verito. It was a muffled noise, as if something cushioned the impact of the fall. Whatever it was in the darkness, at the very least it wasn't coming to hurt the small child.
The smoker's voice from before called out to the young kid, "Eat."
The thump came from a small package upon the ground just a foot from Verito. It was a cloth bound object, knotted loosely. As Verito searched it he'd find inside the cloth was a cold metalic tin which contained something that sloshed around inside, and something else that clinked.

Verito didn't try to peer around in the darkness. He didn't try to discern the location of the smoking man. All he knew was his own aching need for nourishment, the object in front of him, and the single word, like a trumpet burst from heaven:
"Eat."
Verito's hands shook lightly as he bent over the object, taking far too long to undo the cloth and unlatch the tin, feeling what felt like a spoon and what he assumed to be stew. It was cold, and in all likelihood disgusting, but it was Valhalla to him. He scooped up every last drop with the spoon and bent over, licking the bowl. His stomach, not shrunken enough to reject the meal, gurgled for more. The boy, used to getting whatever he wanted from servants (at least food and drink wise) seemed confused by his hunger, and responded the only way he knew how.
"M...More..."
The thought of another beating never occurred to him.

"More?" the man asked incrediously. Two heavy steps and there was the feeling that the larger warrior was looming right over Verito in the darkness. His breath came out slowly, and soon the young kid would feel a rough hand on the top of his head. The fingers were gripped tight, palming Verito's skull as though it were just a ball and lifting the spoiled kid up to his feet.
"That's yer daily ration. You want more, you earn it welp!"

A long pause, for Verito was confused as he dangled from his neck at the strong man's grip, at least for a second.
Then:
"How?"
His tone was eager; not eager to please, but eager to do anything to ease the agony in his stomach. It felt like he was trying to eat himself alive.

Good, the child was getting to the heart of matters. No whining, no begging, no silly attempts to escape right now. Oh, he was sure the kid would the moment he thought he could escape. But for now it was progress.
The man's voice answered Verito, releasing his skull and letting him stand on his own, "Hard Labor or School. It's your choice, but either way we're going to earn what we paid for you back, and you'll earn your keep."

Hard Labor. That shook him down to his very bones. Verito was pretty strong and fit for his age, and he had borne his poor lot in life rather well, but at heart he had been served all his life, and the idea of working with his hands, doing servants work, was more than he could handle. He took the lesser evil.
"School...Like, the ninja academy? I was training in the academy back in Getsugakure...It's just..."
He let himself stop there. It was probably better if the man was unaware of his little chakra problem.

And just one comment. The man grunted. It told him a lot. This kid had some potential, at least in the eyes of his home. As well as what his home was. A land to avoid, a land not to send him on missions to until long after his alliegence had been cemented.
His hand reached out, grasping Verito's shoulder roughly. But unlike his previous manhandling of the child, he seemed to take some care, guiding him rather than hauling him. They were moving slowly, farther away from the light through the doorway that he had come from, and towards whatever lurked in the back of the Leviathan. The man's grip guided Verito around, seemingly winding and turning wildly to weave through whatever was stored in these back rooms. Not a single missed step in the darkness.
The trip continued for a good 5 minutes, unless the child interrupted. There didn't seem to be anything there but more of the pitch black area that seperated this area from any of the others. But the man's grip called for Verito to stop. There was a heavy knocking sound upon hardwood, a grinding noise and a thunk. With a swing on poorly oiled hinges, screaming every inch, daylight flooded in, a large 10' x 10' door having swung out towards Verito's left.
Beyond the blinding light was void, empty air, without stairs or ladder, leading to a fall nearly 40 feet down to the dirt below.

Verito made the walk in silence, displeased with himself. He was starting to get excited despite the agony his limbs and face were wracked with. After all, there was an element of adventure to this, and he was only a little boy. A whole new place, a whole new group of people, a-
Five-thousand-foot-drop-to-his-doom. At least, that's how deep it looked to little Verito, as he gulped loudly and gazed frightened at the ground below. He fought an urge to cling to the smoker and instead made a small whimpering noise.

"If you were training... this should be nothing," the man said. WIth the light from the doorway, you could see him now. A hard man indeed, about 7 feet tall, his shoulders and arms looked to be forged of steel and huge as hell. An apron, blackened, covered his chest, a thick leathery thing. His pants were made of a similiar material, and a similiarly blackened appearance. The man's face was rough, wrinkled and leathery. His right eye was false, a silvery spot rather than a human organ. With a scowl on his face his huge tightened on Verito's shoulder, enough to bring some pain to the small child as he pulled the kid away from him.
"Fly or die. Your escort is on the ground," he growled out as he used his grip on Verito to throw him out of the window.
Seriously 40 foot fall, for a ninja stundent it should be an easy drop to land safely from. At least so he thought as the little slave purchase pitched out into space.

"But...I mean... it's a little too high, dontcha think?"
Verito thought for a moment, trying to bring to mind the body's limits from Basic Anatomy, one of the first Getsugakure classes.
"I mean, even allowing for a perfect landing, my skeletal system can only take a maximum impact of-"
Whatever the number was, it didn't really matter, because suddenly Verito was falling forward, about to be hurdling through the air, straight for the ground. He fought the urge to panic trying to absorb his options and not let various painful equations run through his head. As he completely lost his footing, he remembered: 1 sq ft of air resistance reduces drag by 20%. He let his yukata slip off of his chest, clinging to the cloth in a pathetic sort of makeshift parachute. Still, he plummeted quickly to the ground, tucking into a shoulder roll at the last second over the soft sand. He rolled to stop, shirtless, and let a sort of moan escape his lips. He didn't think anything was broken, but his left shoulder hurt...a lot.

A whistle cut in from behind Verito. There, near the shadow of one of the Leviathan's legs stood a woman. 5'6", fairly robust figure. If not for the small lumps which were breasts and her feminine face and hair, one coudl have thought her a man. She wore a man's clothes fairly comfortably. A teal long shirt lashed down at her waist by a wide red sash, loose breeches the color of the open skies. She wore no shoes, boots, or sandles, and her feet looked a tough gnarled mess, calloused and oversized.
The woman strode forward, her brown hair combed back by her fingers, slicking it behind her ears and out of the way. "You the kid? Come on, class is this way," she said, already starting to walk off East.

The boy struggled upward. He wanted to lie down and cry. His yukata was torn in two places, and, as he tried to shrug it on, he felt the simple black sash give and fall to the ground. He stood there, swaying, as the woman started off, and tried to call upon memories of his family, of Heero and Rima, of his brother, Recubo. He started forward, slowly, one foot in front of the other, watching the ground, only aware that he was following the woman by the large foot prints she left behind. When they made it to "class," the Verito would only stand there, fighting back tears, wishing that he could run, just run. If his feet could move any faster he knew that he would run and run until he made it to Getsugakure or died trying.
