One, two, three, four.
Julius counted his pawsteps as he made his way through the forest, completely bored. It was only mid-day and he had already hunted, groomed... everything that needed to be done. The young Nova felt like there should be more excitement in his life... that's why he left his parents den, anyway, right?

"Such a beautiful day." Said Misaki, a Nova that has been around for a bit of her life. She was graceful in every step she took. Her fur had a sleek shine to it as the sun's rays hit. She listen to the birds sing with a smile on her face. She found a nice shady spot under a tree to relax. She softly sang a song to herself.

Julius' ears twitched as they picked up something. A beautiful little song being sung somewhere not far off. Without even having to think about it, he turned and began to make his way towards it, seeing a spotted Nova soon in the distance.
Quickly using his paw to pad down any loose fur, he strutted over the the other nova. "Why hello there." He said to her. "What brings you out here?"

Misaki stopped suddenly when she heard a voice. She looked over her shoulder at the young Nova. " Hello as well." She spoke elegantly," I'm out here to relax and enjoy the surrounds of this beautiful day. What brings you here?" She said with a calm smile on her face. She was becoming wise as she aged. She got to her feet and began to circle around Julius. she wanted to get a good look at him.

"I was just taking a walk and I heard your beautiful singing." He said, trying to be smooth. The other nova was a bit older than him, but probably not by much.

"Enjoy my singing?" Misaki asked as she laid back under the tree. Her tail twitched once in a while.

"Of course I did!" He replied, and he really wasn't just saying that to be nice. The nova had a beautiful singing voice that reminded Julius of his mother.

"Very well then. You can sit with me as I sing some more. Would you like that?" Misaki said with a smile. She liked Julius so far, but wanted to know him a little more. She'd rather have some company than be alone.

"I'd love to." Julius replied. He sat down, perking his ears forward so he could listen to her better. He was glad that he came across somebody else to spend the day with instead of wandering around alone.

Misaki smiled. She began to sing something more calming. She had different songs to sing. Some matching her mood and others on the season. " Ieyui.....Nobomenu.......Renmiri.......Yojuyogo.....Hasatekanae....Kutamae" she began to sing.

Julius listened quietly for a while. When there was a break in the song, though, he spoke. "Sorry to interrupt.." He said. "But what does your song mean?" He had never heard those words before, and he was interested in the meaning behind her song.

Misaki's ears perked up." My mother use to sing it to me as a kit. I really don't know what it means. I, also, really don't remember much about my mother. All I know is that she's in a better place now." She told Julius as she looked over at him. A tear began to roll down her cheek. She would become sad when it came to her mother.

The sudden change of book startled Julius. She must've really missed her mother... The young male moved a bit closer and used his tail tip to wipe the tear from Misaki's eye. "I'm sure she was a beautiful nova if she sang such a beautiful song." He tried to cheer her up.

Misaki smiled," Thank you....." She said as if she was going to start crying." My brother, Hartman, use to tell me stories at night about our mother. He'd always tell he that she was just as beautiful as nature." She told Julius calmly. She felt better around him as she talked about her mother from the stories.

"I'm sure she was." Julius suddenly felt very caring. He didn't want to see this female cry, even though he had just met her. "I'm sure she's watching you right now." He added, looking up towards the sky and wondering if that was true.
