My eczema(sp?) is back. Well it's been back for a while now but I swear the itching is worst than before....

I been keeping it wrapped up at night, mainly to stop myself from scratching it. Which I probably should have done so earlier. Might have help it from becoming so bad.

Grrr....

Normally I would just use some of the cream that my brothers' got. (They also have it, and went to the doctors and got that cream.)

When I use it, it normally goes away like, in couple days. But I have to use it a couple time a day for a couple days. But I didn't. I only put it on like....every 3 or 4 days. And in between I would still scratch it.....

Now Im at uni. SO I dont have the cream with me. My housemate said that theres soothing cream for eczema at Superdrugs whic hI can buy. But I dont want to buy cream in case Im allergic to it or if it just makes it worst etc.

For now. Im just keeping it wrapped up. Which help a little. But it driving me absolutely crazy!

My mama has this. She tends to break out whenever she uses anything with fragrance in it. You should totally get some cream, just make sure its scent free. :< And test it on your wrist before you buy it.

Well. My housemate has eczema as well and she use:

"Simple Intensive Relief cream: Results in just 4 days. Clinically proven. New. For very dry, sensitive skin prone to eczema & dermatitis. With Natural Plant oil to soothe & lock in moisture. Experts in sensitive skin.

No perfume, no colour. Effective benefits. Natural Aquaxyl™ deeply moisturises & restores. Canola Oil replenishes & protects.

Clinically proven results in 4 days. Dermatologist approved. Hypoallergenic. Suitable for children"

She gave me some to use a while ago. Because my eczema was not only itching but also hurt/sting really badly. And it did help with the pain at the time. Although, since I used it where it itches, Im not sure whether that helped or made it worst. Although apart from the itching. It was....wet? Not sure how to describe it....Right now its....dry, usually.

Arggg...I might just buy the damn thing. This is really annoying me so badly....

Only thing is, I dont like the brand "Simple" Because I had a face moisturiser and that made my face itch....

Maybe I'll buy This one or This one....

I suffer from eczema as well, have since I was a kid until I got the chickenpox. Blew most of it out of my system but I get flare-ups once in a while.

I recommend using Cortizone 10 if it's a small area that's inflamed and cracked. Helps to heal the skin and stop itch. Also, take something with an anti-histamine, like Benadryl. It'll help stop the itching from the inside. I take one so I don't get drowsy and it does help break the itching cycle.

I use Aveeno on a daily basis, but it's kinda expensive. Anything unscented and with aloe in it will help to heal your skin. Good luck hun!

I'll look into those. Though some stuff I can't get without a prescription.

But like, I'll see what they have in store first. Whenever I'm bothered enough to go that is.

I hope it cleared up enough where it's not driving you crazy.

I can't use anything with more then 20% aloe vera in it, cause I get sick from it. I'm not allergic, but I might as well be. It's hard finding a good sunblock without a crap load of aloe vera and anything to sooth burns ><

ah yes, the never-ending itches and the urge to either stab or cut off the area that itches >.< but that's always with mosquito bites for me (and i swear my brother and i are like magnets for them). my mom gets eczema on the odd occasion on her hands, but i'm not sure what she uses...

=3
Well, I bought some cream for it.
And it's starting to clear up.

Still itches. But at least the skin is healing so even if I do scratch it (which I still try not to), at least it wont bleed or make it worst.

Though I guess it is getting less itchy. =3
