here's mine,

I bought a ring in the marketplace (when they were unsoulbounded) it ended having no charge level(cl), next thing you know I got hacked
So i logged into my mule, and had my main accounts password reset.
I luckily stoped the trade by doing this.
almost lost around 200k plus some pricey items.
If you ever get hacked you should use your mule aaccount, go to forgot password, and put the account that got hacked email address so you can reset it and stop illegal activity.

Anyone else got a story?

While back in around 2003, I had just gotten the DJ Headphones, the big scary pricey ones.

After getting the gold built up for that (Mostly through posting, since we didn't have booty grab, or anything like that, and Fishing was still very new) I had finally purchased them for something around 1.3mill approx. Cant quite remember. I just remember in was in the 1m+ Range.

Anyhow, after I had them for a few days, I woke up with my character renamed, and a message saying 'Thanks for the headphones,'

The rest of the stuff I lost was negligible, 50k-100k items in comparison.

That's when I stopped on Gaia quite a while back on a different character.

That happened to a few friends too!
There was like 3 that quit.
only thing that remains is a naked shell

probably true, seeing as how it was related
to buying things in the market. rofl

Ya know, 90% of people who say they were "hacked" were just scammed out of their password. But whatever

But if you report it after someone steals your items, you usually WILL get them back. Gaia tracks everything and as long as you report it right away, they usually fix it.
