Chapter 1: Past of Hope and of Tears
Her dark raspberry purple eyes graced the view of her face as she stared out above her. To the cold roof which had a silver lining around the edges giving a cloudy look to the room which had scribblings all over the greyish whitepaint. Brushing through the long chocolate brown hair which dangled lightly below her shoulders partially. Setting the light brush gently on the desk beside her bed from which she had just awoke, Mi-ra turned her head looking at the clock. The hands were a little blurry till she rubbed her eyes and it clearly read 7:58am.
" Crap I am gonna be late again, Misurui-sensei is going to be furious!" her voice screeched as her hair flung forward over her shoulders, as she shot barely gracefully out of bed. Being stopped by her wall, Mi-ra shook it off rubbing her nose, as she struggled to get her shorts on while getting the medium blue tube top and gray over shirt which was only spiked out on one shoulder, and only had a sleeve on the left because of it being standard issue for villagers coming north from the fire temple. Struggling to get out her door after sliding her onyx ninja boots on, note which of so were on the wrong feet. Failing to notice, until after she arrived at the training fields where she was greeted by laughing from Taiyoki and Haruke. Adverting her gaze downwards, a slight twitch waved slightly from her left eye. Dropping to the ground landing with a thud on her butt, Mi-ra cursed slightly under her breath while pulling the boots off and placing each on the correct foot.
"Well Mi-ra due to your lack of attendance for the pre determined time, the entire team will go the running trials twenty laps through the track that I had built." Misuri spoke diligently and rather coldly which was the usual nature for her. Bolting a cold glare in the direction of Mi-ra, Taiyoki released a low growl and Haruke gave a disappointed look running off as well. Faking a small look of happiness Mi-ra kicked herself darting off behind the others and holding back the fury she felt towards herself at the time.
It felt as if they were running forever and ever in an never ending pitfall and rut filled circle. Taiyoki placing third in the end after Haruke bulleted past him when hetripped, Mi-ra as usual was in second but didn't mind she didn't want to win. Drawing a second look at her sensei who had disappeared she plopped back onto the ground sitting up her back against the tree. They were friends the three however Taiyoki had his own ego issue and thought he was the best out of all of them. Haruke was definitely the most down to earth and strongest in medical jutsu. Mi-ra was strongest in producing fire jutsu and in some points of taijutsu.
"Well Taiyoki you were beaten by a girl and supposedly weaker guy how does that make you feel." Haruke asked jokingly as Taiyoki sat catercorner to Mi-ra.
"No I let you beat me there's a difference." He spoke monotonously just and arrogant in every way except he was happy about losing ironically.
"Haruke-kun we both know Taiyoki-san won't admit defeat hes too big of a chicken."
Glancing at the eachother they all erupted into a roar of laughter nearly dying of it. Once they managed to calm down, the realization that Misuri-sensei was missing slammed into them. Giving a confused look a slight worry cast into the air as they walked to the Hokage tower to see if he had a short notice misson. Their faces giving an air of concern, it wasn't like thier teacher to just fade out of their training. Mi-ra glanced at her teammates, "Something isn't right...I feel it." she spoke sadly... to the Hokage tower to see if he had a short notice misson. Their faces giving an air of concern, it wasn't like their teacher to just fade out of their training. Mi-ra glanced at her teammates, "Something isn't right...I feel it." she spoke sadly... nearly crying as they reached the Tower.
" Hokage-sama, Misuri-sensei disappeared did he have a mission on short notice?" they asked simultaneously.
"No children," he started a slight cloud over their heads as it bothered them that he called them this," Misuri-sensei is betrayer to Kohona and he was eliminated."
Mi-ra looked empty the sensei who had treated her as if she were his own daughter, betrayed the village and land she felt so dear about. The strength she had melted away as she fell to her knees helplessly, being caught by Haruke and Taiyoki who were on her left and right sides. Raising her head Mi-ra gave a cold stare as the words she was about to speak boiled up.
