In their unreleased forms, they resemble any normal katana, save the steel is stained black. When he carries them, Kage'ryu is slung at his right hip, Anei'ryu on his back, the hilt at his right shoulder. Neither have sheathes.

Personality:
Kitsutai is a moody individual. Often quiet, usually disinterested, but cleverly involved in anything that he finds to brighten a dull day.
If you were to look at him, you'd likely shy away. His Zanpaktou are a haphazard, having no sheathes, though mostly to himself. Good luck catching him with a smile, because it'd be under his mask anyways. And he wears a collar, like a cute little--- no, not really like a cute dog. There could of course be a reason for him wearing a collar, but most wouldn't ask.
Despite trying to incur an intimidating look, he always seems to be injured, or just likes wearing bandages.

If you were, however, to find yourself outgoing enough to talk to him, you'd find the opposite of what your eyes told you. He's usually nice, quick to protect, and loyal to allies and what friends he has. In most cases he is light hearted and not to be taken seriously when he speaks, especially if he seems rude or mean. He doesn't think before he speaks, because reactions amuse him.

He likes sharp things, and often stares at the tattoo on his left arm. An unpredictable enigma, to be sure.

He doesn't often fight, or enter battle. When he does, his movements are quick and deliberate. In a sense, he seems to dislike fighting. Even when his mouth gets him into a conflict, he'll usually just take a beating rather than defend himself.


Biography/History:
A shinigami, a member of the Thirteen Protection Squads. That was before. Before he fled Soul Society. If you read his file, or asked one of the shinigami who were around back then, they would tell you he was a hero who was killed in action.
What his files will not tell you is that he was charged by the court following an incident, placed under arrest, and then simply vanished. He was tracked, only to find he passed through a gate to some other world, assumably Hueco Mundo. He was assumed dead, and the entire incident was erased. His name at that time was Kitsugiri Saiko.
Of recent interest is a new shinigami. He is of interest because of his dark appearance. Because of his cold, yet shy, nature. Because he rarely talks. And because no one remembers him from the academy.
And another thing.. He carries two swords.

They say his name is Kitsutai Roland, and they all wonder exactly what he's doing here. Because he feels... out of place.
