BASIC RULES

1.) Follow Gaia TOS (Terms Of Service) - This is to ensure that this guild will not be banned.

2.) Keep it PG-13 - There can be cussing. Don't over do it. There can be loving moments. DON'T OVER DO IT.

3.) Listen to the Mods - You're to treat them with respect as they are to treat you. If you need their permission for something, be sure to ask. Just don't do it.

4.) Be literate - I don't know how much I can stress this one. If you're not smart enough to use complete words and sentances, you don't need to be here. (EXCEPTIONS: If you have a learning disorder or are from a different country where English isn't well used, but you know it enough to communicate, please just let us know. We will be understanding. This rule is meant strictly for those who are too lazy to use complete sentances, some form of punctuation, or just too lazy to proof read the post.)

5.) No godmodding - The mods will be judges of this. Their say is the final say.

6.) Respect others - Fights can be done without namecalling or other immature acts. There's boundries to everything. I trust that you all are smart enough to know this.

7.) No medagaming - This is when you take outside information and use it in game. Let's say I tell you about a plot or my character's motives out of game. You cannot come into the roleplay and use that information. You have to have your character go along with the story even though you know what's going to happen. Spoilers are not fun for others so please do not attempt this.

8.) Any questions, PM me or a guild moderator - Just please do so. It makes it so much easier to maintain the guild.

9.) Warning first, then you're kicked out - Warnings will be given if you went overboard with something. There may even be a second warning. Either way, you push it again after being warned, you'll most likely be out.

10.) Use of mules are restricted to certain boundries. - Read post #2 in Rules and Information for more details.

11.) Rules are subject to change - Meaning, if a rule needs to be added, it will be added. This can be easily avoided by not being a dumbass.

Mule Restrictions and Information

I would like to make a note that I do not care if you use mule accounts in this guild, but please make note of it to myself or another mod so we can put the mules names in this list. I won't say who plays them if you wish it to remain a secret, but I will tell you that I don't want any in here if I or another guild mod does not know about them.

Sorry, but it feels sort of like lying and I will tell you that I am pretty good at figuring out mule accounts. Just to forewarn you. As said, your mule can and will remain a secret as to who owns it. Just its screne name will be put in the list. Not your main. Also, I don't want this place over-run by more mules than there are members. If you're going to have a mule in this guild, I ask that you restrict it to one.

This is the mule account for the entire guild which is used to ban members, send out PMs, and etc. guild notices or work. All the Smash Guild moderators are incharge of this mule being we all know the password and use it if necessary.

If you would like to recieve PMs about upcoming guild events and so on and so forth, please add SmashGuildMule to your friendslist. This enables the mods to use this account to send messages to members of the guild who wish to recieve them.

Remember. This is your choice to add this account to your friendlist. So if you get notifications, it is not chain lettering if you get announcements from this account being you added it of your own free will knowing you will get announcements and happenings.

Roleplaying 411

This section is to ensure that everyone can understand what everyone else is saying. There's two different ways of roleplaying. One consisting of using symbols and one as story telling format. Either is accepted, but just do it right and in a way where people know what your actions, thoughts, and voice are.

You can also use different font colors to make it easier, but still use the formatting. Don't expect people to understand and remember color coding. It won't hurt you to put a symbol or punctuation somewhere.

... = Talking
~...~ = Thought

Story Telling

This is talking as yourself and not as your character. Don't do it a lot, please. There will be a forum designated to OOC chat, so please try to keep it out of the roleplaying forums.

Application Form and Process

Note: We will not be accepting character forms or requests to join if it's apparent that you did not read the rules when you signed up. Listen to the warning. Read the rules, PM me or another mod with questions if you have any, then request to join. If it's apparent you did not read the rules, we will deny your request and you will not be allowed to join.

You will be asked to fill out this form to join. Since the box that you put the reason you want to join the guild is limit to 2000 characters, then just put a brief summary of your profile. Save this, though, because once you're accepted you will have to post it in the Character Profiles sticky. In the thread you can provide a more extensive profile if you wish. We just want to know you won't attempt to godmod and at least have a character ready to roleplay. 3nodding

Classes and weapons are optional... You're character doesn't need to have one.

Explinations and Examples

Character Name -- Your character's name does not have to be the name of your screen name. It can be something totally different.

Gender -- Male or Female. Self explanitory, really.

Character Age -- How old you want you character to be. Your character does not have to be the same age as you.

Character Personality -- Your character can act just like you or completely different. It's your choice.

Character Appearance: -- This is what your character looks like. It can be an original appearance or you can go by what your avatar looks like.

Character Race -- Examples are Human, Half-demon, Demon, Elf, etc.

Character Class -- Examples are Warrior, Spellcaster, Mage, etc.

Weapon -- Examples are Fists, Swords, Bows and Arrows, Caster Guns, etc.
