I just joined the guild and I started searching for a thread for chatterbox about FFXI and the upcoming FFXIV but I didnt manage to find one. Is there anyone here who plays FFXI or will play FFXIV?

I did play FFXI but my bank couldn't really take it.
If I get a decent paying job and have time for ffxii I might get it, but I highly doubt I'll have time this year. : / . the chars look really good though.

Unfortunately, I have the same issue with XI. confused There's no way I could afford to pay a monthly fee...I wish I'd at least tried a demo, but I can't find those little two-dollar ones in GameStop anymore... So, unlikely as it is, I'm really praying XIV will be free to play, because it looks awesome. I have signed up to beta it, so with any luck, I'll get picked. smile

I highly doubt it will be free ):
I really enjoyed FF11 online, it was pretty fun and used up time when you were bored, but really not worth the amount of money they wanted for it.

XIV will be strictly online too?
That'd be nice, if I get rich and all.
I never got to play FF online although I wanted to so bad.
