If you do NOT want to know ANY thing about this season beyond what you see, get the hell out of my thread. I swear it. Because I'm NOT linking you to anything, I'm HONESTLY discussing a spoiler out loud. It's BIG and was mentioned in the Supernatural Thread in white letters. It's not specific, but it is a mind blower, for sure. If you don't want to know, you've been fairly warned. I take NO responsibility from here if you get spoiled and don't want to be. Scroll past the picture for the discussion and the spoiler: gonk "Two fan favorites die this season" and apparently in the same episode, as well as Sam and Dean fighting Lucy. What. The. ********. I don't get it guys? It makes me wonder about the oh-so-epic episode ten. Jim Beaver made a tweet that was possibly a joke, but happened to make me uncomfortable at the time. Something about going to shoot episode ten and party like it was the last time. I was reassured that he was kidding. But now I don't feel reassured. I feel safe about Castiel MAINLY because even though he can't be in five episodes, he's already not in two (Fallen Idol and I'm GUESSING, but it appears he's not in this weeks, either). And I doubt they'd kill him in season four's finale (you know, the initiation into main character-dom ;D) if they planned on killing him again. So I have Bobby to worry about. And I know I called him dispensable, but I take that s**t back. D: But other than Bobby, who the hell would be a fan favorite, that ISN'T one of our main boys? Unless this is the ******** finale's spoiler or some shiz. D: In which I still don't think Cas should die without the other two - because we've all agreed he's a goddamn Winchester, and either the three die together, or live together. Take your pick, Kripke. scream Ellen. Maybe? But so far she's only known to be coming in for one ep. Has anyone but Lucy been recurring anyway? ...Meg? xD Is she anyone's favorite anything, though? We've only seen her new body once so far. It couldn't be Zach. I mean. It COULD, but. I think most fans are kinda waiting for him to die. >.> ...D: CHUCK?! Omfg, maybe it's Chuck. D:

I'm thinking Bobby and Ellen. I don't want it to be Bobby or Ellen. And episode ten is where Cas gets trapped by Lucy and where there's Crowley the Crossroads demon. So it'd make sense that Bobby's caught in the cross-fire in that somehow. Surely Dean or Sam would try to bring Bobby back with a Crossroads deal, despite - y'know, knowing what happens there. Ellen's really the only other fan favourite I can think of. Cas is signed on for more episodes, so I'm pretty sure he's safe. Besides, I reckon Cas is going to be standing by their side when the final smackdown happens, getting sent back to heaven at the very end after the fangirls get their Dean/Cas hug (maybe a kiss on the forehead, not in a slashy way, just in that sort of... platonic/angel power way... oh I know what I mean, you see it in the religious things with priests and s**t.) But yeah, Bobby and Ellen. sad

Well, I personally prefer Ellen to Chuck. XD Which is horrible - I love Ellen, I do. It was just that I read she was only back for the episode. So unless they kill her off-screen or are wrong...D:
But yeah! That's what made me think ten - that was Cas and Lucy's business - and if Sam and Dean get all involved with fighting Lucy...and then "epic" is supposed to happen, what a great episode for two characters to die in. D: (especially since it means for SURE Cas won't die in it. razz )
Oh, I totally know what you mean. I want it. biggrin I want a Dean/Cas anything. And Castiel to get to be an angel like he likes. <3
D: I don't want Bobby to die. I love Bobby. sad

Oh no, she's definitely back again. I read a message on her website saying that's she's coming back for another episode. (And where she addressed the fact some people want an Ellen/Dean hookup saying she thought she was too old for him but adding she would do it because "Have you SEEN Jensen?") So she's a likely casualty. Plus I think she's one of the few real fan favourites left, along with Bobby. Although that might mean Jo returns and I don't hate her or anything but I could do without her coming back to avenge her mom's death and being pissed at the brothers again, blah, blah, blah, blah, old storyline, shut up you whining b***h.
Unless they kill Jo? I mean, she's a fan favourite in some peoples eyes and it'd mean Ellen was safe! biggrin
As for Bobby, his death would mean that Dean and Sam would only really have each other - and Cas - again, therefore bringing them closer together like Kripke's said this final season would do. Uniting to destroy a common enemy.
I was also thinking maybe Anna? She's coming back - and for some reason I dread that - so maybe she gets ganked? OOOH! Maybe she gets killed for disobedience or whatever and it's done to try and scare Cas straight, he refuses and sides with Dean and they have angel!babies on the moon. Then Bobby could be saved! (Coz I love Ellen but I'd rather she died than Bobby).
I'm not sure about Chuck, I don't think he's really been established well enough as a fan favourite to be a casualty. Also with the pesky archangel thing, he'd be a b***h to kill and Zachariah's already said he'd just bring him back.

I don't know how you guys can just sit there and contemplate characters deaths! This was my reaction gonk then scream Either way I'll end up like this eek then burning_eyes then wahmbulance
I don't think Ellen is enough of a a favorite to be killed off. Bobby is however, I can see him giving up his life for the boys. crying *goes into a corner for a moment and weeps*
My second guess would be Sam. I mean Dean has had his share of freaken dying all the freaken time! But Sam died like once and Dean sold his freaken soul for him.
However, if Sam dies, then it'll be a total stab in the back to all of us. We can't have only one Winchester. Never!! crying *runs away crying*

To late. Dx :is shot dead from spoiler:
As I was being so good too. And to think a spoiler so major as well.
Oh well. I bounced back. No harm, minor fowl but I gave it to a little girl and she threw it back. So I’m good.
But on the subject.
WHAT THE ********!! DDDDDD: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo.......
Highlight for essay long speculation: The best case scenario I can see is that it's Ellen or Jo or maybe even Rufus. A combination of the three as pairs. They're all fan favorites but expendable, and as morbid as it sounds ( and I really like theses characters) I would be happy because that doesn’t mean Bobby or Chuck or, dare I say, Castiel.
BUT the most likely person on the chopping block is Chuck and a person from the above list, probably Ellen. Why? Chuck doesn’t have his guardian angel anymore, Raphael, is stuck somewhere in..Ohio? or wherever. So he's vulnerable. That and he has a power that is a kind of a God Card right now. Being able to predict the future ( which he did see when he had that horrifying talk to Zachariah ) is too much of a hassle to write around as I see Kripke doing and I'm wondering with all the questions the boys have why don't they just ask Chuck. Of course their destinies are not set in stone anymore and Chuck doesn’t know everything but he is a big utensil that is not being used and, quite frankly, that tool needs to be eliminated for the mystery of the plot to survive. Another thing is that while he's hardly on screen he's a big fan favorite so on an episode as epic as fighting the devil to add that dash of woe and turn the knife you need a character death that’ll get people shocked and crying. Chuck would do that. Of course Bobby or Cas would do that too but they have more things keeping them alive for plot sakes then Chuck does. I would cry, and be shocked, and he'll get a heart wrenching death scene were he'll say something ominous about the future that will have audience on edge and raving about. Dean and Sam will be distraught and go after the Devil. That is how I see it happening. And it is an awful, bleak future.
Another possibility? They’re talking about the finale, CAS WILL DIE D: and anyone else is up for the death grab including Bobby. :sits in a corner and cries: I just can't see Castiel surviving the show. 1: he's my favorite. MY FAVORITES ALWAYS DIE! It’s the absolute truth. Every single one of them, it's a curse. 2: He's just one of those characters ( the character that I'll always fall in love with) that gets the tragic ending 99% of the time without finding any resolution or peace. 3: Kripke's a b*****d like that. 4: Castiel has been basically outrunning his death since the middle of season four. 5: Because the scene will tear a hole through every fans heart, Cas fan or not, AND KRIPKE'S A b*****d LIKE THAT!
And now I am a blubbering heap sitting in a corner. Thank you. Yeah. What I said there.

I speculate to try and make the pain less when it happens.
I don't think the brothers are going to die again, I think I've read somewhere that Kripke's not killing them at all anymore.
I think Cas is likely to see it through to the end, just get sent back to heaven in the end. I think he'll see the face of God, then end up being promoted or whatever, after all Cas has been through, I think he'll get a happy ending. And Jimmy too. BECAUSE I WILL BE HAVING WORDS IF THEY DON'T! *shakes fist*

I can only wish but like I said: the Favorite Character curse. It always happens to me. ; .; That and I can kind of feel it in my gut that he's going to die, hopefully it's just my pessimistic views. A happy ending for a character like Castiel just never happens though.
And if/when he dies it'll be by the devil because only an angel can kill another angel, right? Which brings me to another point of speculation.
If the above statement is true then the ways of how Dean and Sam are going to kill the devil are pretty limited. -The Colt: I'm skeptical that the Colt is going to kill the devil. For one if it's supposed to kill any supernatural creature and the demons have had it in their possession for a long while, why the hell didn’t they use it on the angels? The demons have had it and Alastair said that he didn’t know how to kill an angel and not even Lilith knew. And yet they had the Colt. -Dean-Michael: Only an angel can kill an angel, and Michael is the boss man so there, at least, is a solid why to kill the devil. But is Dean ever going to say yes? Nope. We all know he's not too. Castiel kills Lucifer What it could happen! But of course for it to be climatic and add to my character curse Cas would probably suicide kill Lucifer and they both die. And now here’s the kicker:
Who’s to say that the devil needs to die?
If this is a wannabe apocalypse and not the true thing then the devil can't die can he? because he'd have to be there for the real smack down, and to avoid the end of the world paradise ending that the boys are trying to do as well then they would have to end this apocalypse like clearing a chess board, with placing all the pieces back in the box. So here’s the twist ending. -Sam sends the devil back to hell. In order to do right and redeem himself or find a true purpose for his powers that destiny gave him he will turn the gift that the demons had used for a very different purpose back on them and send the devil to his prison in the end.
I can’t think of any other ways this could go. So just throwing my speculation cents out there. The brothers aren’t going to die. They're just not. To cliché and funnily enough, overused. ( what other show can you say that character death of the same characters are overused? lol )

I dunno, I'm still confident Cas will be okay. I'm trying optimism.
Y'see I agree with the comments on the Colt. Maybe the classic Colt could have with the original bullets but not the new one. They may still be able to kill off demons but I don't think they've got the kind of mystical strength to kill Lucifer.
Not sure about Dean saying yes or not to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if he did but at the same time, I also wouldn't be surprised if he didn't. It could go either way.
And that's a fair point. It's entirely possible that Lucifer just gets sent back to hell. But at the same time, if that happens, what's to guarantee he'll never get back out, therefore starting the whole thing up again? So I dunno.
And in answer to that last question, only Buffy.

If Cas dies I will cry.......forever. I think one will be Bobby. Which I don't want to happen either. I loves my Bobby. I wouldn't mind Ellen, she's not a huge favorite of mine. I was in denial for a long time after Ash died. I had a theory that he wasn't really dead, but they haven't mentioned him anymore so I guess my theory was wrong. lol.

Ellen is one of my favourite female characters ever. Just so much love.
And even Chad Lindberg doesn't want to accept that Ash is dead, it's endearing.

She is one of my favorite female characters but still. I liked quite a few one-episode female characters more though. Like Sarah and Madison. I think I could live with Ellen dying more than I could with anyone else who has been mentioned. Unless of course Jo died. I really never liked her at all.
I'd never actually heard of anything that he had said about Ash's death. That's funny though. Everyone I told that too said I was crazy and just didn't want to accept his death. Although the whole part where he was talking to Sam and Dean on the phone and looked at his watch and then when they went to the Roadhouse and saw the arm sticking out with the watch, I thought it was a conspiracy. haha

Of course they would kill off two fan favorites.....douches. lol.
It most likely will be Bobby. He'll be all like "I cant walk anywayz, and im old....blah blah"
As for the other one....i'm at a loss of who it could be. I agree with everyone else that it could possibly be Ellen. maybe.

I have a strong lead pointing to who one of them is going to be and when it's happening. I shall white it out in case you don't want to know any more than the speculation we have here.
Question: Got any Supernatural scoop on episode 10? —Ivan Ausiello: Sam and Dean fight Lucifer and two supporting characters will die!
As TK pointed out earlier, Jim Beaver tweeted that he was about to shoot episode ten and party like it was the last time. And the characters die in episode ten. I'm pretty sure this means Bobby is definitely going to kick the bucket. It also means Castiel won't as Misha's signed up for 17 episodes this season and by this point will only have appeared in 7 or so.
(Also, I found this out by accident while hunting for info on my other shows which were featured in the article).
I do have another idea of who the other might be but this is just speculation so I'm not whiting it out. We've said Cas, right? What if it's not Cas? What if it's Jimmy? I know in fanon, it's been decided that he's dead and moved on already but that hasn't actually been acknowledged in the show, has it? So maybe Jimmy's soul is killed off for good, leaving Cas trapped in Jimmy's body?

So, the episode “Abandon All Hope” is my guess for when we lose the precious two. Summary: Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) track down the Colt and head off to find Lucifer to send him back to Hell. It’s a hunters’ reunion when the crew joins forces with Bobby (Jim Beaver), Ellen (guest star Samantha Ferris) and Jo (guest star Alona Tal) for what could be their last night on Earth.
It's pretty much all the characters we've guessed so far. Bobby, Ellen and Jo. crying Two of those three, since people are in complete denial that it might be Castiel.
