Okay so here's the deal.
I've been very nauseas and have been vomitting lately. D':
and I'm very late,
so I took a test this morning, and it came out positive.
I was just wondering if you guys knew of any tips
like what I should watch out for, or things I should do
while I'm pregnant to help the baby.
I don't wanna screw it up ^^;
I may be young but I'm going to take responsibility for this!

1. Stay away from sea food!
2. Even for the slightest pain go to a doctor, you can never be too safe.
3. If you've got the money definitely save the childs cord blood, although its very expensive to save.
Thats it off the top of my head, lol of course there are the general things that are said, read to the baby whilst it's in the womb, go to your breathing sessions, decide now between natural or medicated birth etc etc, those are all the regs and norms that'll get thrown at ya, OH but another good tip is...
4. Definitely sign your baby up on the Babies R Us, Target, or Walmart babies wishlist (if they got it); You put the name and sex of the baby on the list of newborns and people who love babies that check the list will buy your baby stuff! Definitely benificial for young teenage mothers, that and be sure to sign up for WIC, Medicaid, and or foodstamps(EBT) when you get the chance.
5. Also when shopping for a crib be sure to check and see if it's an older model that was sent back due to defects, alot of stores still carry out of date models of cribs, play pins etc. and generally if there was a recall it's due to lack of safety features that some child had to pay for, I guess if ya want a more feminine perspective try messaging my Girlfriend, Tonya636Marie, she'd give ya the more feminine perspective on any questions you may have.

Those things are good to think about. But really, if you feel even the smallest
bit weird or if you're unsure if everything's alright, go to the doctor.
You really want to go one time too many rather than not at all :B
One good thing for yourself or for a future baby-photo album is to take a picture
of your belly every month, which would be about 9 months (depending on
if it's an unpatient baby or not) or then once a week, which would be around
30-38 weeks, I belive C:
My friend made it a rutine and took a photo of herself once a week,
it looks awesome when she has all the pictures in a small album where you
can see how the baby is growing week by week C:
You can't really see much in the beginning but it gets better as time goes by.
Don't think too much about it in the beginning though. There's stilla chance that
something bad might happen and that there's not going to be a baby, and
if you're all mentally prepared for a baby it might be a harsch drop
back to reality D:
My mom's good friend lost her baby quite early and she got really shocked
and was depressed for months, thinking that it was her fault, which it certainly wasn't.
I don't want to scare you though so I'll drop this conversation here ~
But yeah, just enjoy your time as your baby grows and don't stress out too much C:

Yeah, I'm trying not to get too hyped
just in case I were to lose the baby sad
But that's why I wanna do everything I can to avoid that.
I've started eating healthier
and cut out my mom's weekly fish dinner >.>
I hope it all goes welll!

Have you seen a doctor? I've never had a baby, but I think I've heard that you should make an appointment with a doctor pretty early in your pregnancy so you'll know what kinds of things to avoid and whatnot. If you haven't seen a doctor yet, I'd suggest that. And the doctor will definately know some tips for you. biggrin
How old are you anyway?

See I told you you'd get the basic advice, go to a doctor, sign up for lamaze, etc. All important but you'll get an over abundance of that sort, do your best to try and not think about "what if" because no matter what amount of preparation you have, you'll never be prepared to lose that child. So it's best not to think about it. Just hope for the best and focus on that. Also taking the photos of your belly is optional, most women find it amusing to see how large they get but also imbarassing so that's something you can do, what me and my girlfriend did was keep all the ultrasound images from the doctor, because you can get copies, so that your child can see how the developed step by step. It's mind blowing really, I coulda sworn my daughter was a peanut until I saw her face, and it was a scary face indeed, prepare for the father to go, "wtf is that an alien?" and if he doesn't say it, he's thinking it razz .

I don't understand how the doctor can see anything from the ultra sound scans O:
They always go, like "Oh, there's the head, that's an arm, there's the toes"
but all I can see is some blue-greyish dots of a black backgroud :B
