From now on, crew members may nominate someone to be invited into our guild.
The process will go as follows:
-Make a new thread and set it to Announcement.
-Thread title must start off with "Nominee: (Gaian's username)"....of course with the username to replace the parenthesis.
-Crew member must provide and quote 3, what you believe to be, intelligent posts by the person as well as links to these quotes.
-Crew member must explain, slightly in depth, why they feel they would make a good addition to the guild.
-All members may then express their opinions and what they are in favor for.
-The thread will stay up for 2 days. On the second day, I will tally up all negative and positive responses.
-If there are more positive responses, the user will be invited. If there are more negative responses, the user will not be invited at that time.
I hope this works out alright.
Give me suggestions, if you have any.

Question...since the guild has been so dead lately, would this be a good idea? Instead of having the applications process, or maybe along with it, we could require that all applicants make 5 intelligent posts in the forum. That way instead of them just talking about how they know a lot of things, they can prove it while curing guild inactivity. Just a thought.

Sorry I haven't responded to you Celes.....I've been looking for a sober moment.
Well, I'm not too worried about the guild forum's inactivity...as we should be much more active in other threads anyways. Although it would be nice to have more discussion here...especially from opposing views.

In other threads? You should link these other threads somewhere in the guild... because I'm getting rather bored with the guild forum. As you notice, I'm one of the few people keeping it active.

Yeah i can't see a problem with that. We'll just have to make sure he fill in his info on the guild members page as a few newer members still need to do that.

Oh, actually I was directing Hylonomus to an MA thread....as was his request. I like milfhunter as well, he's very informative.
