Nero sighed inwardly to himself as he wandered aimlessly across the flat grassland of Narue Meadow. The day was calm, soothing, a gentle breeze caressed his form and stirred the tall grass around him but he was bored. For one such as himself who has a lot of energy and is very hyperactive it was almost like a version of his personal hell. There was no one around and nothing to do.
"I'm so boooooored." he groaned to the air around him, as if it would be able to respond and keep him company.

The day was so quaint and perfect. It was days like these that Yuki simply adored. She was gently padding through the thick growth, quite content, harding making a sound. The wind softly whispered a bearly audible noise into her ears, something she could only justify as one of natures melodies. It was then she heard a faint voice, and due to her inquisitive nature, perked and looked around. She hadn't heard a voice in at least a week; but alone in a small bout of solitude. She followed the sound, coming across another komali, a male with various shades of grey showing in his fur. Slightly curious, she slowly approached the individual, ducking into the grass, even though her shimmering blue fur stuck out in the maze of green.
"Hello?" She called out as she slowly cleared the distance, her voice soft, clear icy eyes blinking at the grey male.

Nero's ears pricked and he looked around at the sound of a voice, was he hearing things? He could've sworn he'd heard a feminine voice say hello. Suddenly his eyes caught on the light blue shape making it's way through the tall grass and he turned towards it curiously."Hello?" he said, wondering if the blue shape was the source of the greeting he'd heard.
As her head poked out of the grass to the point where he could see her face he smiled kindly, "My name is Nero, may I ask of yours?"

Yuki gazed at the grey male, ear gently flicking at his response, Nero, huh...?
She blinked at the kind smile, at the simple gesture, "Nero...?" She echoed, "My name's Yuki." She replied simply, her voice calm and, perhaps even shy.
Her thick blue tail waved in the soft breeze as it settled on the ground. She hadn't met another of her kind in such a long period of time that she had perhaps forgotten how to act around others. She felt slightly awkward and out of place. Still, she continued on in the same, unique feministic voice, "Why would one such as yourself be in such a isolated area?" She was silent for a moment, briefly pausing, "I haven't seen anyone else in quite a while..." Her voice trailed off.
At least she had finally found another, for the moment, anyway.

Nero's smile widened when she answered him "Yuki huh? Beautiful name for a beautiful lady." his deep voice was like velvet, smooth and warm, comforting. He could tell she was shy, nervous even, and he tried hard not to make her more so.
"I've been travelling actually, I'm trying to make it all the way around the world, I've seen about half of it now, I just have to get through the desert and the mountains then I'll have finished my quest." he replied truthfully, Nero had always been an adventurer and as he'd gotten older that part of him had grown stronger until he couldn't resist any longer and he had left everything and everyone he had known behind so he could sate his hunger for exploring. "You're the first I've seen in a long while as well." he replied as an after thought.
She's very pretty. he thought to himself and then shook his head to clear the thought away. He couldn't get involved with someone, anyone, until his quest was finished, he would only end up hurting them and that was something he didn't want to do.

Yuki felt herself blush, well, if it were possible for komali's to blush. Even so, it wasn't hidden very well by her light blue fur. The voice was rather tender and calm, and she couldn't help but feel slightly at ease when speaking to the male.
"Traveling, you say?" She replied, icy eyes glinting slightly as light shone onto them. Her pelt sparkled as if varnished with glitter, "The desert and the mountians...? I've been to the Asphodel Hills before." She murmured, "It's not exactly the most welcoming place, but I met a group of four brothers there. Quite the bunch they were." she mused thoughtfully,
"Although that was so long ago... I hadn't been there since." she shrugged, the breeze ruffling her smooth white hair. "But, that's quite the endeavor you have. I wouldn't of thought to travel the world... Alone, anyway." She trailed off, realizing how much she'd spoken. That was also a first for her; she was normally the quiet one. Still, conversing was nice for a change.

Nero noticed the slight reddening of her skin beneath her fur and he tried not to stare or let on that he knew she was blushing it would only serve to embarrass or anger her if he did. "The Asphodel Hills will be the last place I journey through before I return to where I started. Hopefully I don't get caught up in any trouble while I'm there." he rambled on and then stopped himself as she continued speaking.
"Traveling alone... wasn't my first choice..." he said, so quietly he wasn't sure if she'd even be able to hear him. Suddenly he was caught in a torrent of memories, the day he'd told his best friend that he was going to travel the world, and that night, his friend telling him he was crazy and that she never wanted to speak to him again. It had nearly broke him, but he'd remained stong, and now he was halfway through the journey that had cost him the best friend he'd ever had, maybe when he returned she could find it in herself to forgive him... but probably not, she never was one to forgive and forget.

Yuki blinked, her expression thoughtful, Her ears were perked, for she only faintly heard the last comment. She decided not to press; she wasn't nosy or anything of the sort. Why would she? Rather, she thought to ask other questions instead of wondering what the other dreamer meant,
"Where you started? Where would that be exactly?" She asked, abliet not being nosy, she was a curious and inquisitive femme. She felt like asking more, learning more about the gray male, but she decided against it, quelling her bubbling curiosity.

Nero looked at her in surprise when she didn't press for more information regarding his comment. Normally he would be bombarded with questions about his less that pleased answer. Instead she just asked him where he was from, she was an interesting dreamer, not at all like the others he'd meant. He could tell she was curious, inquisitive, but she wasn't as nosy and bold about it as the rest.
"My journey started outside of Laikaa, near the Kaitana beach. That was nearly four months ago now." he said as he remembered just how long he'd been travelling and then wondered how much longer it would take him to complete the journey.

"Laikaa, you say? I haven't been there before..." she mused aloud. Then again, she really hadn't been much anywhere.
"Four months? You've been traveling for a pretty long time, then. Hopefully it wont take to much longer," she replied, nodding.
"What did you find on your travels? Anything interesting? I haven't been to many places, so I wouldn't know what else is out there..." She said, somewhat sheepishly.

Nero nodded as a confimation to her musings. Yes indeed, four months was a long time to be away from home but it also seemed very short because of all the excitement he had seen in those four months. "Laikaa is a very nice place, busy but nice, and there is a section where you can find all these really cool old shops with artifacts from a long time ago. I used to spend most of my day down there wandering through the old shops, the ones that no one ever visits anymore because they aren't as well kept." he rambled on and stopped himself when he finally realized what he was doing. He grinned, embarrassed by his behavior
"Sorry... I get a little carried away sometimes." after a few moments he decided he could answer the rest of her questions, hopefully without rambling too much. "Four months doesn't seem like that long really... not when you consider everything I've done and seen, and how much I have left to accomplish. I do miss home though, it's not very fun travelling by yourself." he paused here to figure out what all to tell her about, weeding out the less exciting parts he made up his mind and began his recollection.
"When I left at first I headed up towards Lake Rylan and it's true what they say, about giant fish there, I saw a carp that was bigger than I am and quite a few others that were almost the same. There were normal sized fish too but... I think it's got something to do with the nutrients in that water, there is no way a fish could grow that big without having some sort of special diet. Then I crossed over the Riann Stream, nothing much interesting there, got in a scuffle with small pack of komalis who thought they could tell me what to do and when to do it, I didn't agree. About a month ago I entered the Demyxan Forest, wandered around in there for awhile trying to figure out which way to go next. Met a nice group of female dreamers, they called themselves gypsies, they sang and danced and told stories about the old world. Eventually they moved on and so did I and then I emerged here and ran into you." when he finally stopped he took a deep breath, he hadn't really paused in that whole story, so much for not rambling.

Yuki blinked, taking in every word with a serene, underlying enthusiasm. She smiled and nodded, letting her mind mold around the thoughts and tales, slowly mulling them over as she slowly began to comprehend some of the things Nero spoke of; both beautiful and bizzare.
"Gypsies? They sing and dance? And tell stories? The old world?" She had always been one to inquire more. In her human life, she strived to aquire knowledge, albeit she didn't get much being that she passed so young, but enough to satisfy her needs. In that same scenario, she didn't know very much about the dreamer island at all, as such things like this always perked her intrest. Her ears flicked curiously, wanting to learn more, but not trying to allow her rather annoying, demanding side take over, she stilled.
"Well, that sounds like quite the journy so far... I wonder what other things you could run into! There could be so much more..." Her body lasped into a sudden wiggle, per say a jolt of excitment at the thought. The chance to learn! How she yearned for such a experience. Maybe she could... No, she pushed aside such a thought.
