The wolf-eyed goddess was tracking back and forth, her tail swatting from side to side as she snarled and took her claws out, swiping at the air in front of her. She felt like her blood was boiling, her hair on end; today had been rather poor for the Goddess, today had been dull.
After visiting her son she had found out a few thats that really damaged her pride and for the most part- JUST hurt her. Ramlin couldn't see that she was trying to change her ways and sent her off without her being able to show him first hand. Why was this 'being good' thing so ******** hard? She hated it.
Why bother changing when no one would ever notice it? She snarled again and sat down, her wings resting against her sides as she took a deep breath and glanced up at the sky above her. Nothing would make this better.

Anupu was in a good mood, very good, he had explored the mortal plain a bit, met some royalty and even a few other deities. He was enjoying the sensation of being alive and useful again and he grinned as he stretched his muscles. He was contemplating what to do when he heard a distant snarl and blinked twisting. Slowly he padded in the direction of the noise and grinned broader as he spotted a familiar Goddess a few paces away.
"Ahhh, shall I come ask you what's the matter? If so you must sheath your claws first my little hellion." He chuckled and moved closer despite his joking warning, not that he didn't think she would shred him to bits, he simply decided to let her make the choice herself. Hopefully she would be reasonable and keep her aggression channeled elsewhere.

"Didn't think I'd be seeing you again."
She smirked at him as he neared, with drawing her dagger like claws. She held her head high and padded closer to him, her earrings dancing against her face as she tilted her head at him and spoke out, in a rather 'cool' tone of voice, witch was weird coming from her.
"Just /trying/ to relax myself. Coming home from the mortal lands isn't always so easy when you have a son who dislikes you to the bone."
She chuckled, though, she knew it was her own doing. She knew..

"I always seem to have a way of popping up when I'm needed." He chuckled softly his mood still quite light. He smiled and tucked his wings against his sides sitting down beside her and leaning his weight to one side lazily.
"It's...nice to see you again." Nice? Was that the word, perhaps nice would do. He certainly found her an interesting Goddess.
"Now why would anyone dislike you?" He smirked and shook his head. "You should relax you know, I'm sure he'll get over this silly aversion, your his mother, don't all cubs have to love their mothers somehow?"

Xiu had a second to roll her eyes at him before settling again, her lean frame arched as she frowned and looked away from him with an almost sheepish frown.
"No. It's not the case here, my friend."
She sighed. After meeting him Xiu had been trying to change herself some, trying to better herself even, but it seemed useless when it came to her own son.
"I often wonder if I truly killed the joy in him. How upsetting is that, knowing you may have damaged your child past the point of fix? Ugh."
She shuttered and glanced at him. Something about her seemed a lot more... grounded and soft, even though she put up a front, Xiu was very very loving inside. But, it was something most never ever saw.

Slowly his smile faded he could see that she was serious, and probably hurt. It had to hurt when one of your own children didn't love you, not that he would know. He preached about having an heir and the joys of family, but the truth was he had never managed to meet a Goddess or mortal with which to create that miracle known as life.
Still he didn't mind so much, things were too busy for him to settle down just yet, he had plenty of mortals he needed to help first.
"Maybe your just not the one to fix him Xiu? Perhaps that duty falls to another better equipped. Worrying yourself over the past won't fix things for the future after all."

"Perhaps."
Xiu nodded and glanced at him with a smirk, as if trying to force herself to let the thought go.
"You can be pretty helpful when you arn't being annoying."
She laughed and nudged him with a paw, her wings curled at her sides. She flicked a claw at his side as if to poke him, playfully.

He slowly grinned and nipped at her paw. "You mean I'm not annoying you?" He chuckled and relaxed sprawling beside her in regal fashion.
"I'm sure you could be quite sweet if you wanted to Xiu, your harsh exterior is a good shield for how much things must hurt though. You can be as composed as any regal queen I'm sure." Of course her temper was quite something else and before she unleashed it on him again he decided to leave it at that. Let her play the cruel uncaring witch if she wanted, if it made her feel better who was he to deny her?

"Hah."
She snorted and rolled her eyes in laughter.
"And I'm sure you could be a wonderful God with charm to boot if you didn't try to get under my skin so much."
She tapped his nose with her claw and narrowed her eyes for a second, gazing at him. He wasn't half bad, but she knew better than to think anything else of him, right?
"Besides, i'm being sweet right now, arn't I?"
She had NO idea of what 'sweet' was.

"I AM charming I'll have you know, I'm making friends already. Your the only one who seems to find my presence...aggrivating." He shook his head before snorting with a smirk.
"Sweet? I suppose we could call it that, your not trying to rip me open which is a considerable improvement." He flicked his tail and shook his head. "I think I like you as you are though, if you were too sweet I might have already hurt your feelings. I much prefer to be honest with you, you seem to have gone through a lot already to make you as you are...and your aversion to mortals...well. Yes I think you've had enough dishonesty and sugarcoating to last you."

"Bleh."
She snorted and laughed, her chest puffing up.
"If I were that way all the time i'd have killed myself off long ago. My teeth would rot."
She took what he said and nodded, tapping her claws on the earth below.
"Mmm. So, you do fancy me the way I am? You are very strange, sir."
She bit the tip of her tongue and gave him a rather wicked look, as if playing with him... in her own way? She sat herself up right and moved in-front of him, both of her paws moving to the top of his head as she plucked his crown from his head, titling it to the side as she sat it on her head and smiled.
"I guess you are charming, but maybe it's just thing that makes you look it.'
She laughed and smiled, glancing at the top of his head."
"Nope. You still have charm about you yet."

He chuckled and leaned in close. "All teeth still present and dangerously sharp, I think your safe." He made a quick assessing circle around her his eyes narrowed in careful thought.
"Yes I might be strange, but so are you...not your looks, you actually look quite pretty and normal, but inside you there's something odd." He stepped back hastily and grinned. "Not that odd is bad."
Anupu cringed at her wicked look and growled playfully when she snatched his crown. "You are a wicked little beast!" He leapt to pin her and reclaim his golden adornment. "Prince or Pauper I am ever charming." He smirked.

"What's this thing worth to you, anyway?"
She snorted as he pinned her back, her wings slapping against her sides, her weight tiny under his. She wondered where he got it from, he wonder a lot about him, come to think. Her nose wrinkled as she spoke out, chuckling.
"I'm not normal!"
She teased.
"I hardly think colors like mine are normal."
Was he trying to flirt with her? She laughed at the thought.

"It's not really worth anything, you can't eat it...but it's symbolic...I wish I could remember more...I should probably try and find my family that would help." He smirked and rolled his weight back to keep from doing her any harm, his paws only lightly resting on one of her shoulders.
"Your colors aren't abnormal, their just different, like a rare bird who's plumage doesn't match it's flockmates." He ran his claws teasingly along her wings before snatching his crown and leaping over her.

A soft grin played across her face as she laughed and quickly pulled herself up, pushing off of the ground as she hovered above him for a second, her wings flapping slowly. She eyed him for a long second as if rethinking this attack before dropping her wings to the side, pushing all of her weight onto him as she came crashing down onto him.
"Gotya"
She laughed and snatched the crown back, mocking his expression before speaking.
"You really don't recall your family?"
