-Weekly Events-
Ever wanted to do something with your fellow guild members instead of just chatting it up in the clan chat? Well now you can get to know the pixled faces behind the screen name through a weekly event!
These events will be held every Friday. If nobody decides to come join an event, then there is no event, no problem. Not all of them may be your cup of tea, but if you have any ideas, let us know! We will try to keep the events diverse, and alternate between f2p and p2p. If you guys meet up for an event and decide to do something else, go for it! Not like I am going to scold you. twisted
Details for the weekly event will be in the second post, that is where you can find out the time and place as well.
The third post is for highlights of last week's event. So if you have any stories or screen shots (videos would rock!), post them or pm them to me and I will put them there.

-Last Week's Highlights-
Ren was the only one to show up at last week's event, making her the coolest cat ever. Who needs the whole guild when you got Ren? Exactly. Ren ftw.

I will be online on Friday, but I don't think I'm going to do the Ardy achievement diary at that time (6 PM Central) because I will JUST be logging on, and I have to do my farming rounds first. Besides that, many of them take time to complete or set up to complete (farming a papaya or palm tree for instance, or planting watermelon). Also keep in mind that it'll have activities that have to be staggered out - like the stealing from chests. The treasure disappears and then respawns after a while.
I might be able to catch up to you guys while you're all doing it though. I'm not sure yet. ^_^

Well, Since it's P2P I wont be going, but I'll talk in The chat with Ya'll.
Hell, you can just pretend I'm there. Pretend I'm the Man NPC.

Next week will be Halloween and people will be busy with other things, which was the entire premise of having our Halloween event this Saturday, because it was more convenient overall. It would be best to scratch next week entirely.
Instead of weekly, perhaps your should be bi-weekly. Also, the current time isn't good for me - I had to rush home from work (which is dangerous with the traffic here) just to barely get in before the event... which was a bust.
The reason I suggest this is so that people don't feel that they have to "live for the guild" on the weekends and can do their own training without worrying about what event is next on the schedule. We also have to remember a few of our members - Hampy, Bovine, and Penny, for instance - have other obligations that they need to clear before they can join us in anything.
You see, I'm also in this boat because I can only play a few hours a night during the weekday and can't get massive training done like I can over a weekend. Believe it or not, instead of hanging out and partying with you guys, I would much prefer to be training and getting my account "just right."
As it was, I wasn't able to play much tonight because I was stuck babysitting an extremely young puppy that requires constant attention. Even at the party this Saturday my attention will be diverted because I'm stuck with her for the entire weekend.

A couple members requested the idea. If nobody shows up, no event. Easy as that. I just picked a random time for last week's. Even I was at work, so I didnt even attend. sweatdrop

How about this:
We do a weekley run of GWD. Now this solves two problems at once in my veiws...1. Training. 60 kills for any boss is pretty ok training. not to mention the exp from taking the boss down....2. MONEY. A constant problem for both rich and poor players. Not to mention 20m would get anyone at least 5 skilling lvls.
Instead of saying friday.. why not make it Bi weekley Like ren Suggested But just POST on here when your thinking about going. So.. lets say we decide to do an event next wednesday.. Say a zammy run. We find out which times would be best for everyone in the guild here.. then Initiate on wednesday. kills like..6 birds in one throw.
...Poor birdies.....*Digs Graves*

not to be a party pooper, but not everyone is a high enough lvl to go to GWD, nor is it f2p either, so your idea kinda fails neutral
