In Gold and Silver, Greens sister Daisy Oak, would offer the ability for our Pokemon to be massaged. This feature has made its return in in HeartGold and SoulSilver. From 3 o'clock PM - 4 o'clock PM on any day, you can visit Daisy Oak in Pallet Town and she will offer to give your Pokemon a massage.
The massage that Daisy Oak increases their happiness. However, there is also a brand new effect . This effect is almost invisible on HeartGold or SoulSilver and is really only noticable when you trade your Pokemon to Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum. This effect is godly contest stats.
Haircuts & Massages
Whenever your Pokemn gets Massage, or haircut by Daisy Oak in the underground of Goldenrod its beauty increases by 32 points (1/8 of its maximum amount) and Sheen is increased by 22 points regardless of the nature of the Pokemon. This will allow any Pokemon with untouchd contest conditions to have the maximum beauty stats within 8 days. However, in order to check the condition of your Pokemon you must accsess a trade with Diamond, Pearl or Platinum and see the conditions on the stat pages of those games.
This is very handy if you ever wanted to take part in the Super Contests of Sinnoh, buttheres an added bonus.
Milotic
Milotic is a unique Pokemon that can only evolve from its base form, Feebas, if it has a maximum beauty stats. In previous games this has been dependant on a Pokeblock, or Poffin, but now with the Haircuts and Massages you can differ what you do. It could also only evolve if you have your contests done.
