OMG YOU GUYS! Guess what! I GOT A NEW JOB biggrin Yay me right?????
I'm now a delivery driver at Domino's Pizza ;D I have training next week.
It kind of really sucks timing-wise because I'm going to CT from the 5th -15th of November. I havent told my new boss that yet. Totally inconvenient. Oh well I cant cancel the plane tickets soooo I guess they'll just have to deal with me having to wait a little while to start working. 10 days isnt that long.
I get paid minimum wage. Grossie NV minimum wage talk2hand In CT min. wage is $8.50. Which I dont mind getting paid at all. But here its $7.55 which is totally not as cool as at home. Its ok though! BECAUSE I GET TIPS biggrin I'm sooooooo excited about getting tips! I've never had a job where I got tipped before whee
OH AND!!!!!! I get a cool Domino's sign to put on top of my car when I'm working. FUN MUCH???????
This is really exciting because I only have $150 to last me the rest of the semester. And I need $70 minimum for when I go home in two weeks XD /bad with money
Anyways, next week I'll let you know how it goes! Hopefully its fun and doesnt suck smile

Buzzzz - we dont promise 30min delivery anymore because it causes unsafe driving to do so : ) AND I KNOW RIGHT? I figured when they said they had to check my driving record I was just wasting my time because NO ONE should hire me to drive with my record XD

Otherwise, if they don't carry their wallet in their "back pocket" and aren't going to pay you, fling the hot pie at their open flesh. :'D

Do drivers get reimbursed for their miles of driving? If so, that's totally awesome =D
I think WA minimum wage is $8.55 but I get paid $9.57 and $10.11 when I teach swim lessons. -Very not complaining-

If so, that's totally awesome =D I think WA minimum wage is $8.55 but I get paid $9.57 and $10.11 when I teach swim lessons. -Very not complaining- Yup, $0.80 per delivery. My last job paid $9 an hour whee Not bad. Especially back when they gave me 55hrs a week ;D I got $13.50 overtime.
I'm fine with Dominos paying me $7.55 now, because in a few years they'll be paying me $80,000 a year cool And that is an amount I would NEVER complain about xd

What Pixie said whee Plus there is zero chance to move up in Buttheads. There is the owner and the manager and then regular employees and thats it XD I want to get a job that I can turn into a career~ The earlier you start the better.
And I'm not just going to be manager of Dominos, some day I'll be a franchisee and be making half a million a year biggrin

I heart Dominos.
Min wage is $7.50 here in TX, and although I'm not even getting that. (damn my unemployedness gonk ) Hopefully I can get at least a seasonal job at some store working the Christmas season and with luck be kept on.
