The pre-theme teaser is Gen walking down New York, freaking people out with Usagi narrating.... Then we get the opening (which I still don't like the lyric changes to, but that's a rant for another day....) and then we see Leo training with like lanterns or something. I still don't really know what he was doing. O_o; Meanwhile, Casey and the other guys are watching. They all comment on how he's been an annoying hardass lately. Casey doesn't quite get it, but oh well. He's special. And then, Leo throws his sword at Raph's punching bag (jerk) and Raph attempts to go pummel some sense into him, but the otehrs hold him back. Meanwhile, a portal opens up from the pool in the center of the lair!
Splinter is expecting company! surprised Out from the portal, Usagi and Gen walk out. Leo smiles for the first time in well, a while. Everyone's happy to see Usagi. Gen, not so much. Then, they all go out on the town to show their buddies the sights. Mikey introduces the two to hot dogs. Usagi asks what it's made of. Luckily, we fade out before an answer is given. >_>;
Later that night, Leo and Usagi meet and talk about how Leo's beinga hardass. Then they spar, and the two discuss. Usagi quite obviously hits some sort of nerve inside Leo's broken head, but, not a big enough one to make him realize he's being foolish. Dumb dumb.
Then, Mikey comes out and is lahk "GEN'S NOT HERE OMGWTF!?!?!?!"
Gen's walking around the streets of NY, inadvertantly terrorizing the people. He walks up toa pretzel vender,and he runs away like WOAH! :O Meanwhile, the turtles go out looking for him. They explain to Usagi that anthro animals aren't exactly common in this world. Elsewhere, Gen sees a big tough guy walking his big tough dog. Both freak out like little babies at the sight of a rhino. Gen comments on his cool duds, and then goes out to get his own.
Oh yeah, 'round this time, another portal opened up in an alley, and a guy looking suspiciously like Ganon from that crappy Zelda cartoon walked out. He's looking for Usagi, Gen and the Kame ninja Leonardo.
So, Gen walks out of a clothing store, decked out like Rocksteady (XDD!!) and is met with a bunch of people freakin' out, yo. The turtles finally find him! Officer Laird confronts Gen, but a faux-mugging from the alley (performed by MIkey and Raph) takes his attention. And just in time Casey comes to bail Gen out, having been called by his turtle pals.
So, then Mikey and Raphc limb back up to the roof, but it gets blown up before they actually get up and then they fall down. The warthog fellow from earlier is here! He gets ready to fight Usagi and Leonardo. Donny gets ready to fight too, and then Raph and MIkey manage to get back up. But once they do the roof blows up and they fall down. And Donny just kinda disappears.
Usagi and Leo fight the warthog assassin, and after aw hile, the pig throws dirt in Leo's eye. ANd this for some reason incapacitates him, despite he was training blind earlier in the episode. So,like, aftera w hile the warthog almost beats Usagi, then Leo saves him.
Yay.
The turtles and USAGIIII go back to the lair. Gen and Usagi get ready to leave, and stuff ands tuff. Usagi talks to Leo about how he needs to let go of the stupid guilt he has!!! But Leo's like "I'M DUMB AND I DON'T WANNA!" and Usagi's like "FINE!" and then Splinter talks to Usagi privately saying he hoped that Usagi would have been able to get through to Leo, and Usagi laments his inability, as does Splinter.
Thennn they take the piggy assassin back to their world. Then Mikey comes out, warning not to let Gen leave. He stole his Silver Sentry comics!
The episode ends with the camera panning out from above Mikey crying "NOOOOO!!"
