Our campus had a NCOD celebration recently. Yama and I walked through the hall wearing our T-Shirts and were bombarded with baskets of rainbow pins, ribbons, and we even got a goody-bag filled with some not-so-teen-rated material. Omy! We don't need it. But we have it. We also got a nifty calculator notepad thing. It makes me wonder if we do the National Day of Silence too.
Generally, I've always thought of NDOS as a High School thing. At my old school, we didn't do much for it but there were a few of us. Does your school do anything fun like what we did? Or, do you participate in this sort of thing like an individual?

It was much better than our last school. Nothing happened there. This year everything was so fun and colorful - I felt right at home! :3 we never did anything at my high school for coming out day. We focused more on National Day of Silence. We were shy cute little ikles back then, coming out would have been too disastrous. xD

We had a little thing for coming out week. We would make a rainbow out of papers that people had signed in support of homosexuality. We handed out pins and ribbons and had day of silence t-shirts.

Yeah it was kinda fun. Mostly it was fun because we just hung out and harrassed other students to sign our papers. Day of silence wasn't particularly fun though. Because a log of my friends would try to get me to talk. Lame. That and my boyfriend liked to point out how moronic it was to do that.
