I finally made it down to the Japan Centre today. If you live near London, this is THE PLACE to go for vis kei. It is located on Picadilly Street, near the Picadilly tube stop. Just walk down the street; it's on the left and if you hit Waterstone's, you've gone too far. Today I bought:
hide BEST Psycommunity Withering to Death Miyavism Diabolos Rebirth X - Jealouy GREEN GLAY DRIVE ~Glay complete BEST~ ROTENGEN MOON -galyuu- B'z The Best "Pleasure II" (came with free lanyard and 1 itunes video download)
Crazy Pigeon Lady got: Macabre Kisou Six Ugly Hide Your Face Doppleganger Lunacy Eternal Melodies II Vulgar Merveilles La'Cryma Christi Greatest Hits Psyence Slow Kronos (single) Saku (single) Zeus Blue Blood Crescent
Each was around 24 pounds. A bit expensive, but totally worth it. They've also got a TON of pop, Malice Mizer, B'z, and loads of other stuff. I'm broke now! I don't think we're going back anymore. xp

Wow, that's so cool. I wish there was some place around here that I could go to... but I have to get by with whatever they offer at anime conventions.

The middle of nowhere would be an understatement for here sweatdrop
We have to order everything IN. That costs $$ Atlantic Canada sucks gonk
We ordered our computer in from Ontario, where it had come in from Japan. It's a crazy computer though, it told me it "nuked" the installation files for the DVD drive. Seriously. I was like "duuude, I love you."
It's like 3 years old now though, so I'll have to buy myself a laptop once I come back from my trip to London this spring.
But yeah, the point of this post was that where I live, you can't get anything good. You can't even buy a tablet for the computer in the province. I have a feeling my J-Rock friends will be asking me to pick them up something if I go to this Japan Centre in London. Tael already told me she'd give me the money xDD

And dammit, you better get me something. You can't find anything around here. And no one knows what the hell J-rock is. Someone Ari and I know once asked, "Is that a food group?" *facepalms*
And Atlantic Canada does suck. And so do our computers. My old desktop once told me it couldn't find the hard drive. eek For two weeks.

I just found out there's an anime store within about 20 minutes of my house... I'm gonna go over there sometime soon to check it out, and I'm gonna die happy if they carry J-Rock.
Tael- It didn't see your harddrive for two weeks? Silly computer. xD
Anyway... back to the topic...
The anime store here is probably not nearly as good as the Japan Centre, but hey... a store dedicated to anime in the nothingness that is Oklahoma is awesome. xD If I ever go to London, I'll definitely go there.

Yeah... there used to be one of those back home, but by the time I was able to get to it they had relocated and were just an anime rental store with a couple soundtracks. GOOD J-rock is just so hard to find! Suncoast only had Laruku and TM Revolution because they've done stuff for anime, but it's still a start!

It's such an awesome place. Their music section might as well be divided up into "Female Artists" and "Viz Kei Artists" instead of male and female. heart
It's a little confusing when you first get inside. Go past the restaurant part, go up the stairs, and past the travel agency part, then you'll see the bookshelves and music.
The only things they didn't have that I really wanted were "Missa" by Diru and "Meg & Lion" by Amano Tsukiko.
