To begin, I must say that this pack is extremely selective, and therefore, not everyone who applies will be accepted. In fact, many of you may not be, based on things that will be explained through story and behavior of the pack. However, there are certain circumstances, which will, again, be explained. The point and purpose of this pack is to promote the rest of you to think outside the box, as well as a well-rounded and active atmosphere for ideas and plots to grow and flourish. I warn you, many of the ideas incorporated in this pack relate directly to Plato's 'Republic,' or as many people would know them, Hitler's ideas for society. If you do not agree with the views of the pack, please remember that it is strictly limited to the pack, and not to those who play the characters. It is simply an interesting point of view to follow and delve into, and it may help you to realize that, though Adolf Hitler took Plato's ideas and turned them extreme, Plato's theory itself was not to rule the world. That being said, it is not this pack's intention to take anything over. Whether or not it does, in fact, happen, is left entirely to chance and it's interaction with other packs.[ Introduction - The Law - The Past - The Present - The Life & Death ]

Events • Raids are the pack's most frequently planned event. They can occur at any time and often occur when enough intelligence has been gathered about the pack in question. • When raid time comes, the entire pack is expected to participate with the exception of one or two chosen members to stay behind and watch the pups, should there be any at the time. • A raid goes on until all targets have been captured or until nothing is left to stand in their way. Only then will Cocklebur lead the pack home with their quarry. • Less frequently held are mating festivals. These occur once every winter, and every eligible breeding member of the pack will be evaluated and paired with a member of the opposite sex to ensure quality pups. • When you have been paired, you are to meet with the designated varg chosen for you and you are to spend at least two weeks with him or her. The goal is that, at the end of this time period, the female partner is pregnant.Society • Pups born into the pack are assigned specific 'class' positions. These are; bronze (the workers), silver (the guardians) and gold (the philosopher). • Workers are the lowest rung of the pack but are not exactly treated as such. They have their own jobs, which are just as important to the continuation of the pack's success as the Guardian's or the Philosophers. They are sometimes referred to as being "of weaker heart" by higher ranks simply because of the division a class system imparts, but it is not a standard for the pack as a whole. Workers include scouts, den mothers, hunters and other general labor tasks. • Guardians are chosen on four virtues; wisdom, courage, virtue, and temperance. This class is the middle rung, and their purpose is solely to protect and guide the pack and its future. They are often the stronger members or the members with an eye for strategy and justice. Guardians include warhounds, strategists, advisors, and emissaries. Guardians are also responsible for physically training the youngest members of the pack. • Philosophers are the leaders. Where guardians and workers are plentiful, philosophers are more scarce in number. They are the critical thinkers, innovative and creative. They design the structure of the pack and its teachings, as well as help to shape the future and its inherent success. Philosophers devise the laws and their punishments, set the tasks for the day, and most often spend their time teaching the youngest members their intellectual education.Training • You will be taught by either Cocklebur or Hyacinthe or in rare cases should either be unavailable, Hellbore. • Absolutely no one will be excused from training, regardless of your sex or physical condition - if you have a session, you attend it under penalty of being physically reprimanded. • Mental training begins when you are three to four months old, while physical training begins when you are six to eight months old. • Mental training is done through story. These stories will only ever include Morgra's glory, the pack's accomplishments and triumphs, and generally stories that promote mental and physical superiority. • Never, under any circumstances, will stories promoting Larka or her family be told. • Your trust in the pack will also be tested from time to time with outrageous and ridiculous lies - you are expected to fully believe them, regardless of how outlandish they are. This is known as the Noble Lie, and it is wherein your loyalty is made clear. If you don't believe it, you will be barred from ever becoming a true member of the pack. • Physical training includes endurance and strength tests, as well as defensive and offensive maneuvers.Breeding • You may not breed without exclusive permission of Cocklebur. • Cocklebur will regulate how many pups are born into the pack, and if he feels there are too many, you will not be permitted to breed. • Your mate will be chosen for you by Cocklebur in accordance with who will produce quality pups. This will be completed by a series of tests (ie, intelligence, strength, courage, etc) which will then rank who is the most compatible within the pack. • You may not, under any circumstances, breed with a varg outside of the pack. • Females are expected to continue to pull the same amount of work they did before they were pregnant even after becoming so. • Your pups will be taken and raised by Hyacinthe when they have reached the target age, to ensure they are taught and trained properly. From then on, you will have no responsibility towards them whatsoever. However, this does not bar you from interacting with them, you will simply be unable to train them. • Same-sex pairings are strictly prohibited, though they should never occur anyway, based on Cocklebur's teachings.
