London sat on a low wall on the edge of the university, long overgrown with vegetation and forgotten to all students. In her hand she held a lighter which she occasionally flicked open and let burn for a few seconds before flicking it closed. In her other hand she held a cigarette, long forgotten in her mental reverie.
She was thinking about that damned family again, the one she didn’t remember at all… the bastards had abandoned her and she had no relocation of them whatsoever. That fire…. It made her forget all of her old memories, all she could remember was she didn’t like them, she didn’t like the past but she had always felt safe. London bit her tongue to keep from loosing herself too far in her memories, it did happen. Blinking a few times she looked around her, before lying on the wall facing the sky. Families… were pathetic. A stupid excuse for animals not to kill their young. Possession… she wasn’t a possession to anyone anymore. If they had wanted her… they would have found her.

It had already been a long day, why was she wandering this side of town? Nothing to do, no one to see. She sighed heavily, trotting her way up to a wall that she'd previously run around on to get from place to place.
It was getting cold--she could feel it from all of her bare skin. Damn. Frowning, the woman crossed her arms over her chest and continued to walk along the wall--until she spotted someone else there.
Wrinkling her nose, she eyed the cigarette, and instantly calmed down...maybe...
"Hey," she mumbled, slowly approaching the female she'd never seen before, "Mind if I bum one of those off of you?"

London shot up at the sound of another near. Seeing her confused her for a moment, before a slow smirk spread on her lips. “Normally I wouldn’t share with someone I don’t know. But since such a pretty little thing is wandering alone I suppose you need one.” The girl ran a hand though her rainbow bangs before reaching into her cleavage and producing a pack.
“They aren’t all that great, but they suffice when you’re desperate.” She folded her legs so that they were tucked under her, the neon pumps lying in the grass resting against the wall. Rolling her eyes she gestured for the other girl to join her, they seemed to be similar ages, but who really knew around here. Not subtle in the least London watched her walk, liking what she saw. Though she didn’t know it, she was very much like her father in the sex department… men, women, singles, doubles, orgies… it was all-good to her. Flicking the lighter open once more without thinking about it London lit her own cigarette; a perpetual smirk lifting the side of her mouth substantially.

The mixed breed smiled thankfully to her--a bit more cockiness behind it than she'd assumed--and took a cigarette from the woman. Lowering down to sit beside her, she crossed her legs, large tail dangling over the back of the wall without much worry of getting grabbed.
"Thanks," she chimed, pulling out her own lighter that she'd managed to snatch from another cat, and lit up the cancer stick. Kaikara bounced her leg absently, the knee-high boots jingling with the movement, chains and studs clinking together. The sound comforted her in a way, since she didn't like the silence.
Now, she didn't smoke very often, but she'd been pretty stressed out lately...it was getting bothersome really. At leas the woman at her side was somewhat friendly and wasn't judging whether or not she may or may not be in the family or not. Always nice to meet strangers and not have a past with them.

London shrugged running a hand through her hair and looking out at the random squirrels go through initiation. If you didn't cross the street you couldn't be a squirrel, or at least that was what she had observed, and laughed a great many times when the stupid humans got themselves hurt trying to miss the 'cute' furry critters. Dead or alive they ended up being dinner, so all was the same to London, just one took the fun out of killing them herself.
The girl shifted her gaze to her companion and shook her head, at least she didn't seem to be as crazy as the other cats she had shared a home with. "'fraid I didn't quite catch your name. Im London."

Kaikara looked up to the other, taking a slow drag of her cigarette when she was...somewhat questioned about her name.
"Kaikara," she grinned, "Call me Kai." For once, the mutt of sorts was being sociable... it was weird. She felt the need to talk to other cats, to get to know some others, but usually she didn't want to give anyone the time of day honestly.
Humming, she let the smoke slide out between her lips, eyes following London's to watch the squirrels curiously. Interesting creatures, squirrels. Like rats just faster. She'd never eaten or caught a squirrel before, so they were random creatures that meant little to nothing to her honestly.

London smiled dragging a hand through her hair and grinding the cig against the rough brick of the wall before stuffing them in her jackets pockets. "so what is a girl like you doing wandering around alone? Bad things tend to happen to young cats that wander with no one to help them around here. Humans are too frequent in these parts." London shrugged it didn't matter to her. No one wanted a cat that was scarred as badly as her. Silently she jumped from the wall, watching the sky turn to a deeper shade of indigo. She was getting bored, and she didn't understand exactly why she didn't just get up and walk away from the girl that seemed like she could handle herself.
Without really realizing it London was flicking the lighter on and off on and off. Flipping it open and closed under a pointed nail. It was her nervous habit of choice. She supposed that it was better then flicking burning paper into dry grass like it once was. At least then life was interesting she though, growling softly to herself and shaking off the thought. Whatever, that wasn't her life anymore... nor was the exitance she had shared before the human issues. London walked back over to Kai, putting her hands on either side of the girls hips and stared up at her, not quite sure what she was doing but merely going with the flow. "we should go do something... anything other then sitting on a wall and starting to remince about our lives. I seriously doubt we will see each other again, so why not? why not have some fun?" London turned and walked in the direction of the market place. There was plenty to work with there.

This female was interesting, to say in the least.
"I'm not all that young," she defended, frowning but taking a drag of her cigarette either way. Once finished, she watched the woman leap down off of the wall, and snuffed out her cigarette against the brick as well.
It was when the other cat invited her to go somewhere that she arched a brow, but slowly moved to hop off the wall, landing quietly on her feet and smirking towards London. "Sure, we can do something," how pessimistic, to think that they wouldn't see eachother again, but then again, fate had its way of messing with creatures, right?
Stepping after her, Kaikara crossed her arms over her bare stomach and licked her lips, tasting the tobacco, "Where to, then, Lodon?"

London snickered to herself, a smirk forming on her lips. "Oh there are several places to go. Let's see where we end up. See princess a world where you settle for things, where you decide on one set course of action is boring, a life not worth living. If we meet up again your not going to want to remember me, your going to meet this nice fellow, and suddenly your going to turn into someone your NOT." She winked at the other girl and laughed. It was so easy to be the weirdo, the odd one out when everyone was so predictable.
Can't do anything unexpected if someone has already done it all and is waiting for you to do the same. London knew they were in the plaza when the never ending scuffling of feet could be heard behind her. She had been walking backwards facing Kai, just watching her, curious to see if this new distraction had any entertainment up her sleeve. A light hearted tune formed on her lips as she began whistling, vaguely resembling the song "painting the roses red" (which of course is from Alice in wonderland). The steady rhythm of water crashing against itself sounded in her head, beaconing them to it.
"how about it Kai, out of the pathetic, boring, unrealistic, real world and into the rabbit hole?"

Smirking at the woman's though process, she shrugged slightly. She had a point, following the paved path was no fun at all, but being random and going out on a limb seemed much more entertaining to her. Wonder how that worked out.
Humming to the song as the woman whistled, she surprisingly knew the basic tune...but wasn't all too familiar with it, so she'd pause when she didn't know the part.
"Sounds fun to me," she cooed, chuckling. Kaikara shook her head a bit, "Any reason why you're calling me princess, London? or is it just a habit of yours? Another one of your random acts to not be normal?" Kaikara was going to get herself into trouble one day.

London grinned, the sound of the water fountain in the middle of the plaza now ringing in her ears. “A name is merely a label, so why not put a generality on all females and call everyone Princess? It’s easier to remember that way. And besides, if I don’t know someone’s name, it gives them little room to disappoint me. Open books are disappointing.”
The light female jumped backwards, easily landing on the edge of the fountain, grinning like she had just caught her first bird. London stretched her burned arm above her head pulling the clenching muscles in her arm. She jumped backwards again, splashing into the fountain with another grin, water falling all around her in thick drops. It was fun being daring.
“common princess, come have some fun.”

Arching a brow at her, she shrugged, and made her way up to the fountain with a hum.
"I guess that works," wonder what she called guys. Princess still, probably.
Hopping up onto the edge of the fountain, she crouched down and set her arms to either knee, staring down at the woman while she splashed around. Strange that a cat would like water, right?
"You're lucky I like water," Kai chuckled, before hopping in after her. Shaking her head once she surfaced, the hybrid brought a hand up to run into her hair with a hum, ruffling her now wet hair. "You're a strange one, you know," she laughed, "Never met anyone like you."

London shrugged a shoulder, winking at the other female. “I suppose that’s a complement.” A teasing smirk settled onto her lips as she kicked up more water before diving under. Water, it was something that was needed to survive, but in itself was completely untamable. There was no doubt about what drew London to the substance.
… Besides, how many cats do you see dancing in a fountain?
She came up for air right when it felt like her lungs would burst, the drops sprinkled all over her skin and making her hair fall into her eyes. Her hand twitched and whipped away the colored mess, grinning over at Kai.
Well that was before she heard the toms. Idiot males intruding upon her fun time. They were standing by the vacated flower shop, grinning and leaning against the wall like pathetic wallflowers. Huh, irony there. A slow smile formed on the corners of her lips. “Hey Princess, how do you like being whistled at ‘ucz they sure as hell aren’t doing it to me."

The 'cat-calls' were making her scowl, fixing her hair so it was out of her face again and looking over to London in a curious manner.
"I dont much like males, honestly," she laughed, "most of them, at least." Smirking, she made her was closer to London, being bold on so many different levels here. The woman was strange, but she seemed fun...so why not?
"Why dont we give them something to whistle about, hm?" Kaikara purred lowly, lifting her arms up to drape them over the woman's shoulders and cocked her head. She was behind the other--almost like hiding behind her--but she didn't care what anyone thought about her. Especially the males.
leaning in a bit closer to London, she propped her chin against the other's shoulder and nuzzled up closer to her ear, the woman's multi-colored locks of hair sticking to her own neck and cheeks, melding with her own black and red tresses.

London arched an eyebrow perfectly, (something that was no easy feat evidently) glancing at the other female over her shoulder as she made her way behind her. What game was this? Perhaps this princess was someone that she had underestimated. The men whooped at the physical contact, ruled below the belt, as always… us poor females never got a break. Deciding last minute London found she wanted to go with this charade, whatever that entailed. More drama, more entertainment to forget the pathetic low life family that she had no desire to be a part of anymore.
A light filled her eyes as she looked over at the toms, a slow smirk forming on her lips. Carefully she reached a hand up and laced her fingers in Kai’s hair, nuzzling the side of her face in a possessive manner. The boys got quiet, but London wasn’t sure if it was because they were intimidated, turned on, or just plain scared. Either way, it worked for her… she got a reaction. "So princess, you like the game too?"
