Rahvu was on his own once more for a while he always tended to wander away from his family for a while at a time. He wasn't that sure why it was just the way that he was. So right now like any other time he was putting his feet to work. There was one thing that he didn't like about today however. As he wandered he could smell the rain in the air. He knew that it was coming and he was a little upset that he was going to have to wander toward the nearest place to stay dry he had a feeling of where he could find one. It was a area under a bunch of trees all pretty close together, all ending up in plenty of branches and leaves to hide under for a while.
He smiled slightly at he let out a yawn and stretched out under the branches as he did he could feel the rain blast down. He let out a small sigh of relief keeping an eye out for some places that were leaking. He grinned slightly and flopped down at the base of the tree relaxing a bit as he did. He was enjoying the cold air around here the. He grinned slightly before stretching out some.

Moving over the rogue lands, Kavu smiled as he looked up at the sky. It wasn’t a nice day, true enough, but at least it wasn’t terribly hot now. The rain was a welcome change, even if it was completely messing up his freshly grown mane. The male loved to keep it neat and fluffy, save for those days where he wanted to look more like his father and let the grease kind of gather up on it. He only did that, though, when he didn’t see his father for a while, so Jeraha didn’t know that his fully grown son was still looking for attention. He was on his own now!
Why should he care what his father thought of him?
Didn’t matter how many times he told himself to forget about the old man, he loved his father very much and wanted to prove his worth, even though Jeraha had already told him that he was proud of him.
As he moved under the rain, he noticed a younger lion not far from him, Kavu grinning and moving over to investigate. “Lovely weather, isn’t it?” he asked jokingly.

Rahvu stretched out a bit before letting out a small yawn, before he could feel his thoughts rolled over his mind. He flicked his tail around before sighing slightly. There one was thing on his mind and it was one thing that really never left his mind. Pilate, he hadn't seen her in a while he missed her. He wished that he could hunt her down but he had a feeling that she was wandering away for a bit, he coulnd't blame her, but then again he was still worried about her. He had no clue why but he really had different feelings for her, it was odd to explain though.
He stretched out slightly then rested his head on his paws trying to ignore his thoughts before blinking slightly as the sound of a voice reached his ears. He was slightly caught off guard but he raised his eyes to the lion before grinning. "Hello there!" He chuckled slightly putting on his front of happiness, it was none of his business if he was caught up in his thoughts but he could be friendly. "It sure if nice." He chuckled before smiling at the male.

Tilting his head to one side, the large animal noticed that his new conversation partner seemed a little unconcerned by the rain. It seemed like he had other things on his mind. But maybe he was just looking too much into it- it wasn’t like he even knew this young lion lying in front of him. They hadn’t even introduced themselves yet.
That reminded him:
“My name is Kavu,” he chuckled, “what brings you out here in the middle of the rain? I mean, is your den not close to hear?” He didn’t mean to pry, but he wanted to know what would bring a young, almost sad lion out on his own on a bad day. Was he letting the weather mix with his mood? Maybe he controlled the weather. Wait, that was a strange thought. Kavu sighed to himself, shaking his mane though it did nothing to keep him dry since he was still sitting out under the falling water.
Still, he couldn’t say that it wasn’t fun to do, even if it only managed to tangle his mane even more.

Rahvu looked at the male with a friendly smile. He was kind of glad to have company around it was a chance to clear his mind and be distracted from everything for a while. He loved it that he could take a chance to relax and maybe make a friend. He didn't have that many around some times. "Hello Kavu, my name is Rahvu." He nodded slightly before thumping his tail on the ground a few times, welcoming him to sit down. He licked his lips then grinned once more.
He chuckled slightly before grinning once more looking out at the rain as it was falling. He always loved watching it, with the company that he had and also the distraction of the rain he knew it was going to be easily distracted from his thoughts. He shook his head a bit. "My den isn't that far off. I live with my family." He shrugged but then looked at him. "I like to wander and I need a place to go when it's raining I've been here before I like the area it's nice." He nodded with a grin before looking at the male curiously. "What are you doing out here?"

“Ha, our names end in a similar way,” noted the male. It was always his favorite part to learn the names of the other animals he was talking to. Normally they were a lot longer than his, which made him feel a bit of name envy. His father had given him a short name for… some reason. Moving over, he sat down nearer the other lion, happy that he wasn’t being told to get the hell out of there or something.
Not that something like that had ever really happened to him. At worst, he had been called an idiot before.
“Oh I see,” the lion replied with a hum, “I guess this is a good place to get out of the rain. It’s nice. My den is kind of far from here, I was just out hunting,” he added after a thoughtful moment, “I suppose I was just looking for a place to get out of the rain, since I couldn’t make it back in time. I didn’t think I would get someone to talk to, though.” Watching the rain, he sighed softly.
It didn’t look like it was going to go away any time soon.

Rahvu took a moment to think before looking at the male with a grin on his face. He chuckled slightly before nodding toward him. "They do. That's pretty cool." He smiled a bit as the lion joined him with sitting down. It felt good to have some company, even though the male was obviously older with his mane already grown he still seemed pretty young. Apparently old young enough to not mind spending his time with a teen. The least he could do was make room with him, so of course thats what he did.
He grinned happily at the male as he nodded. "I come here a lot. It's one of my favorite places to go." He nodded once more to the other male's comment about it being nice. "I love this place." He nodded flicking his hair out of his eyes then smiled at the male. "Ah, thats no good. I hate going out for hunting then it starting to pour." He made a small face before nodding toward him. "At least you found a place." He remembered the last time he had went hunting and it was pouring. He was soaked with water oh god he hated it. "yeah, I'm glad to have some company. I never see that many others aorund here." He chuckled once more.

Kavu smiled. It was pretty cool. And it was equally cool that he had managed to figure out that there was something similar between them. Of course, rhyming words was pretty basic to most animals, but Kavu liked to take pleasure in the small things. It was probably why he remained such a gentle, happy creature in his own way. Immature, if you wanted to be blunt about it.
He was a little immature.
Shifting to get a bit more comfortable, he listened, smiling lightly. Yeah, the place was nice. If he had been one to spend more time in the area, he might just come back to find this place again. Heck, even after doing some more exploring he might come back to see the place again. There was no one to tell him he couldn’t. Unless, of course, his new friend didn’t want him to.
“I guess it’s not a heavy populated area. I haven’t seen a lot of other animals, either.” He hummed, “not lions, anyway. So, are you on your own now? Away from the family?”

Rahvu flicked his tail around a little more before thinking a bit, he was a little amused himself. Ravhu could be pretty immature himself some times, he was younger than the male but he didn't see the point of not enjoying little things like that. He let out a small chuckle before stretching out a little more, he too was starting to get comfortable. He was also enjoying the company. he always enjoyed company. Having some one around was always nice for him. He would rather be here with some one else, hanging out with them than being here along as he waited for the rain to stop.
He looked at the rain before reaching out a paw into the downpour before pulling it back toward his face, lapping up some of the water off of his paw before smiling. He let out a small laugh before nodding toward him. "Yeah, I normally don't see many others around here, but that's why it's nice out here. It's not crawling with others like some places." He glanced at the male before shaking his head. "Nah, I'm just wandering away from ym family for a little bit. I was going to head off to visit one of my friends." He smiled at the idea, he loved spending time with his friend Pilate. He loved her and her cubs, he was hoping that they were okay and safe in all of this rain.

Kavu smiled.
"That sounds like fun! I used to like getting away from my brothers. Though... I think that's because one of my brothers liked to pick on me all the time. Still, I never liked to go away for too long, even when Doto was really mean to me. I wonder what he's up to now... sometimes I wonder if everyone is alright." He sighed dreamily, reflecting for a moment before giving his mane a shake.
"Especially my father- he's the most amazing lion you'll ever meet! I hope I can do right by him." So far... that hadn't been going very well. While Jeraha was a strong, smart, well composed lion, he was... clumsy. And pretty much just clumsy.
"Does your friend live very far from here?"

Rahvu looked at the male thinking a bit himself. He got picked on some times, it was his siblings too. He looked at the other male and nodded before chuckling a little bit. "Maybe it's a sibling thing?" He picked on his siblings at times too but it was mostly just joking around and such. He never really picked on it that much. "They probably are, you're older now..." He glanced at the other male once more with a grin. "Maybe he won't pick on you anymore."
His attention turned to the tree they were under, watching ants crawl up the tree, fleeing from the rain. That was a pretty good idea, but he thought it would work better if you were getting away from the sun! Or better yet if you were getting away from the wet ground it would be a good idea to perch yourself up on a tree. He grinned at that idea as he stretched his paws out before another grin grew on his face. "Really? Wow. I'd like to run into him at some point." He really didn't get to spend that much time with his father, well not that much time that he could remember.
He blinked at the question for a moment sitting and thinking trying to figure out where he was once more. Oh! He looked toward his left then nodded. "Yeah she isn't that far away from here. Or so I think." He let out a small laugh then smiled, thinking about her always made him smile. "She wanders some times, like me. She isn't always in the same place but some times she is." She nodded at the idea, yeah it was all pretty sure he really never remembered seeing her all in the same place.

Kavu smiled. Yes, a sibling thing- that was a good enough excuse for it. Then again, Doto had never been the shining example of what you wanted your brother to be like. He was fine, in a way, just… mean. One time he’d let them run off, thinking they were playing a game, to get lost while he laughed at them. Father had not been entirely pleased about that. That was why he liked his dad- Jeraha was never one to let them get away with naughty things. Not while he could manage to keep them in line.
But lions grow up and soon enough, they were all going their separate ways. A good thing, really, even if he did like to spend most of his time heading back home to check on his beloved parents.
At least his meaner brothers weren’t there anymore. Last he had heard of Doto, the male had actually managed to get himself a girl. Fling or mate, he had produced cubs. Kind of nice, when he thought about it.
“Ha! I hope you meet him too- he’s really cool,” Kavu replied lightly, shaking his head to fluff up his mane a bit. “And I hope you find your friend too! I guess it must be hard, huh? If they move around a lot it must be hard to find them… my family stays in the same place, for the most part. They live by a beautiful waterfall! I can’t imagine why they would ever leave there, really. It’s safe and really pretty. Maybe when I have a family I’ll raise them there too!”
Ha. Wishful thinking.

Rahvu stared off into space for a moment he loved his father but he wondered if his father could be that awesome. He was also kind of wondering if he could be that awesome one day. He would love to be able to be as amazing as this lion was suggesting. He flicked his hair out of his eyes as he turned back toward the male. "He really does sound awesome." He really did wonder if his father was like that, he didn't spend enough time with them to find out.
He then looked amazed at the male his eyes grew in amazement. Yes he was still growing and he was getting older every day however he still had his cub like moments and the sound of this place sounded amazing to him. He was very much amazed by it. It sounded beautiful. "Well... we don't travel too much but we do travel some." He nodded at the idea. "But we haven't moved much lately we've settled by a really big tree." she nodded and then chuckled slightly. "But your pace sounds amazing."

“I like trees,” Kavu said thoughtfully, “most of the trees by the water are very tall, and difficult to climb, even for an adult. I think leopards could probably get up there without too much problem, but I was never one to be able to climb too much.” He chuckled lightly, remembering the various times he had managed to get himself stuck up in a tree, whimpering for hours until his father came to find him.
Of course, his father had always mad climbing up those massive trees look so easy. Was it any wonder that he had wanted to attempt to be like his old man? “Well, settling is nice. I hope the place you’ve settled in suits you for a long while!”
Moving wasn’t a horrible thought, though he knew it would be a lot harder once he got a family. Assuming he ever did, of course. “Well.. I suppose I should get going. I don’t think the rain is going to be letting up any time soon. I should just attempt to brave it, eh? But it was nice meeting you!”
