Nightridge found himself alone once more. He was use to is though, so the night sounds did not bother him. He was not as frightened as he once was he was getting older after all. Why soon he might be big!!! Nightridge'e stomach rumbled and he began to search for food. He would have never excepted to find was he was about to find.

Fin had spent all day wandering about the forest. There was nothing on her mind, but she wanted to be on the move. She was tiny in comparison to this world around her, and she wanted to go out there and see every corner of it. Though... admittedly, she much preferred being closer to the water. But she pushed that to the back of her mind. She would return to a pool of water when she grew tired. For now, she felt like exploring.
She looked up as she walked, up through the branches high above her head. She wondered what it was like for the birds to fly up there. No. She shook her head and dismissed such nasty thoughts. She liked it down here, where there was solid ground under her feet, or better yet, water under her belly. Water was definitely her favorite landscape.
Mid-thought, Fin had to stop to scratch at an itch behind her ear. It was barely out of reach, so she sat down and tried again, closing her eyes and pulling her head back a little so that her hind leg's claws could reach. "Ahhhh..." The soft sigh escaped her lips as she let her paw fall back to the ground. "That's bet-" She broke off her sentence as her head swiveled forwards once more and her eyes opened, to see another Di'taki a little ways away. Stunned for a moment, Fin stumbled for words, "Uhhh.... H-hi?"
