Mili left Father's house later than she really should have. He had invited her over for a dinner party with some of his clients from work, and she graciously accepted the opportunity to get away from her dorms for the night. It was convenient that he lived in Destiny City, so home was never far away from her.
As she walked down his sidewalk, she turned to smile and wave back to him to let him know that she was going to be alright. He had offered to drive her back to the Crystal dorms, but she said no. She had patrolling to do. Of course she would never tell Father that she was really one of those costumed sailor soldiers he kept reading about in the paper.
She ducked down into an alleyway to transform and begin her night job. "Walküre Power, Make Up!" she called out and spun around in an array of lights and ribbons. It wasn't the most subtle thing, but it worked.
Sailor Walküre stepped out of the alley, and began walking down the street, silently hoping that tonight would be quiet.

"Thank you for a lovely evening," a sultry voice purred from one of Destiny's many alleys. The only reply was a giggle, which led to more laughter from the speaker.
"My name?" the sultry voice asked before laughing again, "My dear, if I told you, I'd have to kill you!" More laughter. Just two stupid people necking on a bad side of town, right? If Walküre looked into the alley, that's what it would look like: two women embraced, one of them in a black hat stereotypically worn by chauffeurs, and the other girl much smaller. Nothing to see here, senshi, just keep on walking, but wait! The taller girl pushed the smaller girl back a step, causing her to... collapse?!
In the standing woman's hand was the girl's starseed. Without a word, the thief turned on her heels and started to walk to the other side of the alley, where a black limousine was waiting.

Never one to pass on a free peep show, Sailor Walküre watched as two figures drew in closer to each other in the alley. Maybe the night wasn't as quiet as she had been hoping, and that was turning out to be okay. Well, that is until one of the two pushed the other over; something gleamed in her hand. Oh no! There went the evening.
"Grrr... damnit" Walküre growled as she watched the taller figure walk away.
She took each step as quietly as she could, and began down the alley after this shadowy person. If she was lucky, she could get close enough to spring before they noticed.

The tall woman held up the starseed, and it vanished into that god-awful space where the lieutenants of the Negaverse kept their weapons.
No need to get it filthy, after all.
She peeled off her white gloves, one by one, and took off her chauffeur hat. She put them on top of her limo calmly, and then reached out her fingers into that same god-awful space. When they came back down, metal claws were glinting on each finger-point. She walked around to the other side of her limo, and looked up for an instance.
Oh, good thing she had her claws on. She didn't looked frightened at the senshi-- though she might've been nervous. This was, after all, her first time seeing one in person. She did seem to match the description, with that skirt barely covering her voluptuous legs...
"Good evening," she purred as she walked back around and opened the back door of her limo, "Looking for a ride, senshi?"

Sailor Walküre again cursed her boots for being too loud and the night for being too quiet. Neither she nor her costume were built for stealth.
So far, she had only encountered minor minion monsters. This was going to be different though; this was going to be a real battle. A twinge of nervousness pinged in her belly, and she did her best to hide it in her expressions. Then again, with the way she was invited into that limo, Walküre wasn't sure she really wanted to decline, but the claws made her quickly dismiss that thought.
It was time to show this bad guy what she was made of, "You! Give back that starseed!" She pointed dramatically for effect, and then stood in a super heroine stance with her legs at shoulder width apart and her hands on her hips. "I am Sailor Walküre, chooser of the slain, and I will triumph over you!"
Her ribbons and her skirt blew with the night wind. By all accounts, she looked a lot more confident than she was feeling at the moment.

Variscite stayed in the same position, her eyes absorbing the sight of the curvaceous senshi in front of her. The wind blowing her pigtails and skirt; it wasn't a bad view at all.
"There's nothing that I hate worse than disappointing a beautiful woman, Miss... Walküre," Variscite drawled as she closed the door to her limo and took a few steps forward, "But, sadly, that starseed has gone to someone who needs it far more than that young woman. Think of it as a noble sacrifice."
She lifted her arms up with a flourish, "The most lovely queen of all will be the one to get the power from this Starseed. I, her loyal knight Variscite, will personally deliver it to her champion." She lowered her arms to her sides, and flicked her wrists so the claws glowed ominously.
"But I'm guessing you're not interested in such romantic mush, hmm? Chooser of the slain..."

Not sure whether to be flattered or afraid at the come ons, Sailor Walküre decided to dismiss them for the moment and worry about the intimidating weapons that were soon going to be aimed at her.
"Variscite," she said her enemy's name as if she was spitting out a distasteful piece of food. It hung think in the air. The scene felt like a stand off from an old western film. All it needed was a tumbleweed to roll between them.
She knew she didn't like the sound off this "queen of all" stuff. She didn't want to have to face her, but she could start by getting rid of one of her low level henchmen. The less lackeys to feed starseeds to be Big Bad the better.
She slowly stepped one foot after the other closer to Variscite, legs tense and sweat starting to bead. "In the old legends, the Valkyries were the ones who chose which of the great warriors would ascend to Valhalla. My power of battle comes from them, and it is that power that will choose me to be the victor tonight."

"Then may those beautiful spirits watch over you, Sailor Walküre," said Variscite as she watched the senshi step towards her. "Let them be your faithful guides when you leave for Valhalla!!"
She wasn't used to her claws yet, so Variscite had to think about how to attack this woman. If she truly was the senshi of battle, than the lieutenant could assume that she was experienced. Why did she have to be found so quickly? After only one seed?
If she could get Walküre off of her feet, using the claws might be easier. It certainly would be easier to grapple her there. So, Variscite wasted no time in closing the space between them. She offered the senshi one of her smirks before diving downward and extending one of her legs towards her opponent's ankle.

Sailor Walküre let out a short yelp as Variscite's ankle made contact with hers. One would think these boots would offer a bit more protection. She fell to the ground very ungracefully, and landed with a thud. Her opponent came down on her. Hard. Claws poised to rip her to bits.
Really, this was not the position she wanted to be in right now.
She grabbed for Variscite's wrist to try to keep those claws as far away as possible. Trying to think of a witty comeback wasn't on the top of her mind, so all Walküre could think of to say was, "We'll see about that!"
Smooth. Real smooth.

Variscite continued to press down, trying to get her claws towards Walküre's chest. She was aiming for her star seed, of course, but if she could even kill one of the senshi it would be wonderful.
"You sound uncertain," the lieutenant laughed. "Let me clear up the outcome of this battle for you!" She continued to struggle on top of the senshi, trying to pry herself free from the Valkyrie's grasp.
Finally, she knew what she had to do. It was inelegant, but at this point she just wanted to win. So, she bit down on the hand grabbing her wrist, sinking her teeth in as far and as hard as she could. That should get herself some freedom!

"GAAAAAH! s**t!" Walküre yelled as her arm became a sandwich. It made her let her grip of Variscite's arm go, which wasn't the best thing for her to do. Thankfully though, she caught her mistake quick enough, and was able to use her other hand to grab at her opponent's hair.
"Wench! I'll show you fighting dirty!" She yanked and pulled as best as she could hoping Variscite would instinctively draw back. Get those claws away from her chest for a moment. She really wasn't in the mood to end up a lifeless husk like the woman that was still slouched over in the alley.

Variscite shrieked as her hair was pulled at. She tried to swipe at Walküre, but if it even hit it was very light. She was too busy trying to pull back; too vain to realize that she could just sink her hand in start taking the Seed. She finally managed to wrench herself back, strands of black hair left in the senshi's grip.
"H-Heh..." she laughed with some effort as she held her aching head, "Didn't realize you were a hair-puller! Even so, you'd better give up on getting that Star Seed!"
Variscite didn't want Walküre to get up one last time, so she moved to slam her boot into her opponent's stomach.

Her fleeting moment of success was just that, and as Walküre reveled at the clump of hair in her hand, Variscite's boot crushed into her stomach. Her hands and feet went in the air at the impact, and then they quickly came back down as she tried to curl into a ball and make the pain go away.
Now she knew how it felt every time she stomped her heel into someone. Tears began to well up in her eyes, and she tried to fight them back and focus before Variscite could strike again.
Right now though, she didn't have much wiggle room. With a boot on her stomach, she could barely breathe, barely think, and would be lucky to just get out of here at this point. She grabbed for Variscite's leg and tried to pry her off.

Variscite tried to stomp on her again, enjoying the feeling of victory. However, Walküre was strong. So, when the senshi grabbed ahold of her leg and swung, Variscite lost her balance. She toppled ungracefully over, falling flat on her face. Her legs kicked and flailed over the senshi's body as she tried to get off of her and regain her footing.
"Let go!" she shrieked, "Just give up, you can't take this away from me!!"

"No," Walküre shouted back, "you can't take it from me! It's my star seed!" The nerve of that other woman! How could Walküre take something that was already hers? At the moment, she really didn't care about what happened to the star seed the girl already possessed. She changed her priority to just keeping her seed, and just incapacitating her opponent enough to get out of there.
She held her grip firm on the leg, and put one hand over the other pulling herself up to meet Variscite face to face. She struggled under Walküre's weight, and kicked and hit her to try to get away. This was about the most absolutely unladylike fight Walküre had ever been in.
The two were tangled up together, and had this been a cartoon, there would have been a cloud of dust with various limbs popping out every now and then.
