The trip back to YMCA lands was not a long one - indeed Lullaby had been resting right outside the boarders, though she had pointed out several of the lands landmarks along the way she had been to excited to bring him home and meet the others to give him a proper tour - that she supposed would have to wait for later.
Reaching the den site she glanced back to ensure Lullaby was still following before letting her gaze travel about the area to see just ho happened to be home at the moment.

Indeed the purple male had been following Chivosi, and very closely. He was a bit unsure of himself, nervous about meeting other wolves - one on one was almost nice, but more than one at a time could be harrowing.
But he was also excited. A thrilled buzz flowed through his veins, causing him to shiver from time to time. A placid smile kept firmly placed on his maw, though he kept his tail and head down. He felt that this was his place.
He looked around them, taking in the sights and also peering curiously, to see who was about.

Chivosi wasn't the only one bringing back new recruits. Merrill was beginning to wonder if she just had the strange luck of always running into wolves (and apparantly at least green ones more than once) because of her unnatural pelt, her position as beta, the spirits' decision to let her see new snouts, or some combination of the three. Not that it bothered her in particular . . . up until now. Her thick fur had been perfect for her mountain home; down here, it was more of a burden, and a literal one it was after her dive into the lake.
Sure, she'd saved a life. But now she was coming home with two teens and looking as though her fur could forced her down to the ground, how wet and down-hung it was currently. The weather was even getting cooler to boot; this should have been a celebratory situation for one from the mountains with snow capped tips! As it was, it made her only more sour, shivering noticeably as she led the two foundlings into YMCA territory. Wha tshe wanted was nothing mroe than to toss the two into some den and then make for her own to warm up and rest. Her daily nap had been missed, adding to her brooding mood.
Thus, of course, the spirits had to taunt her more when, upon entering near the very center of the packlands, she spied Chivosi . . . with another wolf. Purple this time; would the colors never stop? Maybe it was her presence here that drove them close, because before Merrill had joined it had been rather naturally colored. Huh. Her nap would have to be further delayed. "Afternoon, Si," she greeted, dipping her head, water droplets falling from her chin. "Two new ones found by the lake. I see you've got someone else with you too."

"By the Lake?" Chiv questioned her brightly colored friend with the Wolfy equivalent of a grin before continuing "Or...in...the lake" she concluded having taken in her friends rather bedraggled looks, sure...it was amusing to see, though Chiv was well aware that Merrill was quite uncomfortable and padded closer to lean against her and lend her some warmth.
"Your going to freeze" she chided the beta before introducing her to the pale purple male she'd brought home with her "Merrill..this is Lullaby - he was resting near the pack boarders and looking for a nice place to stay, Lullaby..this is Merrill our Beta" though she cast her gaze over the adolescents Merrill had brought with her, but left it for her to introduce them.

Pekko was exhausted and near violently angry. He had brought his sister into an unknown situation with a bunch of wolves he didn't know, his eye's took on a deranged stare and he huddled near his sister protectively. He'd had his first experience with them on a pleasant note but, he'd learned, never trust the first act no matter it's appearance. He'd tried hard, day in and day out to trust packs but, he had a nervous wreck in him that believed every pack was built of descendants of his parents killers. This pushed him to push Vittoria away from the group with a set of large paws to his right startled him into near falling.
Menelaus had chosen the wrong way of entrance, he had smelled the group before the meeting would take place. He could scent the air with a perfect nose but, had some trouble seeing some of the things he smelled. "So, we have some new blood!" His voice cheered and his eye's narrowed to each individual passing a momentary stare at the male who had just nearly run into him. Menelaus merely stepped aside and let the male have his freedom.
"Welcome Lullaby." He smiled sweet as he could still not used to how an Alpha should be. He wanted to be stern but, that was for problem wolves.. ones like the green male that Merrill had broughten in. Menelaus was nervous about him. He was nearly full grown and held a funny stare. It could go three ways, though Menelaus pushed that aside fast.
"What are these twos names?" He pondered to Merrill, over looking the teens.

"Mene-Pup." She inclined her head to the other alpha as he approached, shivering a tad as Chivosi's presence gave her much-needed heat. At least she wasn't a soaked as she had been earlier. "And welcome, Lullz," Merrill added with another small nod to the omega, already stapling him with a nickname as was her custom - a sign that she accepted him to the pack personally. It attested to the beta's high self-assurance that she would dare call her alphas by nicknames rather than their real ones; then again, Chivosi and Menelaus were a rather informal pair most of the time. Also, Merrill had the worst memory for names longer than two syllables.
"These two are brother and sister: green one's Pekko, the yellow Vitto . . . Vittoria." Something like that? She had yet to give either monikers and, judging by Pekko's terribly tense behavior, it might be a while before she would. "I told you relax, youngun," Merrill chided the teen. "None of us'll hurt you if you just sit still for a second."

Menelaus gave a curt nod to the three new wolves, it had been a little bit since the group had found some new meat and now that they had he knew there'd be a lot more work, especially with the siblings. He gazed at the male, all green perfect for tracking and hunting, the forests favorite color compared to some of the colors he'd seen trail their way in here. The sister, not so much a hunter as she could be a pup-sitter, he couldn't yet judge her personality because of Pekko's way of guarding. A guard, instead of a hunter, the young one was fierce as he needed to be.
"Now now Merrill.." He smiled, he liked her full name, it had a nice ring. "Leave him be, if he feels better tense then so be it." Menelaus wanted the young one to have a freedom and having seen the way the teen was there'd be to much trouble if he was told what to do. It wasn't worth the effort if he and his sister might leave at any moment. "Welcome Pekko and Vittoria." He sat and just simply smiled.
Pekko was growing aggravated. He wasn't all to young anymore and had done a fine job at caring for his sister! She was still alive and in tact, they couldn't say a word as to what he could or couldn't do, he had his freedom and could leave if he pleased. Vittoria may be sure to follow. They were blood relatives. He sat though and the tense way his body had reacted to the group relaxed a bit from the coaxing of Merrill, his hero. He looked at Menelaus and nodded slightly, his eye's were still a bit crazed with fear and anger but, he was better now. A bit better.

Lullaby's eyes whipped to various points in front of him - as each wolf spoke, he tried to lay eyes on that wolf. It also helped to gather names when they were given.
He spoke a quiet 'hello' to Menelaus, and tried to indicate that it was nice to meet him. He was a bit intimidated, as he was quick to realize that this was the alpha male.
After a moment, the purple one spoke. Lullz? His jaw hung open as wide as it could, and he stared at her for a moment. Lullz. He had never had his name shortened before, but the idea of it stung a bit. He wasn't sure why.
He watched the wolves as they went on, wondering at the strange scene. He found it odd that more new wolves would show up the day he had been brought into the pack. But it could be interesting, he supposed - though for now, the male was frightened at all this potential attention turned on him.

Menelaus scented the air a quick moment, he had an advantage on at least one of the newer wolves, Lullaby was no where near pleased at this given moment. He could smell the fear that dripped off him and immediately felt awful. He remembered Chiv's pep talk about being to intimidating from the start and he almost hung his head in a sting of shame.
Immediately he broke into a big friendly wolf grin and wagged his tail. "Lullaby, you like scouting.. or is there something you'd enjoy more?" Menelaus was trying to be more welcoming and focused on the nervous one before him.

Chiv glanced about her gathered packmates and got the idea that not all of them were gelling in quite the fashion she would like - Merrills green teen seemed on the verge of either running off or pitching some sort of fit and poor Lullaby really didn't seem very comfortable in the face of so many others.
Leaving her post beside Merrill she ghosted to Mene's side and licked him between the ears, perhaps even a small sign of friendliness would set lower some of the nerves, after all members of dangerous, mean or nasty packs didn't go about being sweet did they? Moons if she knew really but it seemed like a good idea.
"Perhaps Pekko would like to choose a den so that he can warm up..I"m sure like Merrill you're fairly miserable and cold" She offered to the green teenager in warm tones. Sine Mene was already speaking with Lullaby she let him try and make the pale colored wolf more comfortable.

Spirits knew the full extent of that! Merrill's dour attitude would not help welcome the newcomer, and indeed this Lulluby seemed terribly skittish - and currently she was in no mood to deal with that. "Sounds like a plan," Merrill acceded with a curt nod to the alpha, turning her bright green eyes to the equally green youth. "You heard the leader. Although I think we're both more for a sun-soak than a den search personally. Anyone's welcome to come along and just nap with me." Aah, Merrill and her naps . . . She had missed out today's; probably another reason she was a bit more snappish than usual. But a cool wind on her back and the warm sun above . . . Ah, that would bring her spirits back up.
"And then I'll be happy to help find dens, if the alphas don't do that while I'm off in Serendipity. Now, if you don't mind." She began to make her way off towards the hills whether someone followed or not, aiming for her spot at the apex of one of the taller ones. Nothing would compare to her mountain home, but . . . It was close enough.

Menelaus nodded in agreement and returned the friendly lick with a soft n** to her neck. He enjoyed these groups meetings more and more. He felt closer with his initial group because of them.
Pekko looked up at the Alpha Female, she was a lovely being, gave off a warm vibe and he felt a welcoming presence for the first time since he got here. He wasn't overly shocked about that, this Merrill, even from a distance, seemed a bit.. unwelcoming. But, she had her little bits he did enjoy. His thoughts were erased as Chivosi spoke up, a den, he smiled.
"A.. a den sound nice." He forced his anger down and nearly choked with trying, his sister, he could feel the eye's on him from her. His mood swings weren't usually so easily accomplished. He breathed in heavy then got up and followed Merrill, he could now feel the water dripping from him. He smirked, his fur was lighter and carried little water but, he noticed Merrill's heavier coat and nearly broke into laughter.
He ran up beside her, keeping an eye on his sister, and spoke. "So you aren't from around here?" He asked this slowly, unsure if he should've spoke at all.

It was with some restraint that she didn't make some remark about his ill-pointed snickers. After all, she was only soaked in the first place because Pekko had nearly drowned himself! "Nope," Merrill replied simply, for she felt no need to disclose too much so soon. "Figured that from the purple coat, didja? I'm from the mountains in fact, much higher than the tallest of these hills. " She led him through the center of the camp towards these small "bumps" in the land, traipsing up one of the medium-sized ones with little effort - her limbs were used to rugged terrain and found the incline far too easy.
The beta nestled herself at the hill's crest and turned to Pekko as she sat. "Aaah, much better. Sun, wind, cold, and snow. I might just nap here even. That what you're planning too? 'Cause I don't move for a good few hours once I'm out napping."

Er... um. Scouting, he could maybe do that? Lullaby realized that it would be a far better idea to talk with the alpha male one-on-one later, and explain to him his past. The wolf had no clue what he was doing in a pack situation, but he was willing to learn.
Pups... he loved pups, but he wasn't quick to request the job of pup-sitting. That could be a sensitive issue, and a newcomer - much less a strange male - to the pack wasn't likely to be trusted with the future of the pack.
"I like to fish?" he tried to raise his voice as best he could, realizing that it might be hard to hear him. His jaw wouldn't open up as much as he wanted to, resulting in a very quiet wolf. "I could maybe scout, too." he added on, thinking that maybe it wouldn't be too hard. It was up to the alpha, and he hoped that he could edge in a personal meeting with the male later.

Menelaus gave a curt nod to the male, he didn't seem to keen on scouting but, he was sure he'd get the full story to that later on. "A hunter!" He voiced this happily, he was great at tracking things but, didn't have the extreme skill to catch everything he found, this Lullaby would make a great sidekick to Menelaus.
"We'll do a small bit of fishing later on if you'd like." He smiled in a warmer manner then his usual stature showed eh would, he often wore a grimace of thought that he got scolded for by Chiv, he was to be nicer looking she said. Teh way he had been before the stress. He was trying his best.
