Now if you have signed up for a spot in the Halloween thread be sure to come here and discuss any ideas you have.
Since it's out first event thread I thought that a plain Halloween theme would work well with every one. I've already set up a test thread HERE. I'll put up the first few posts with the rules, introduction, and ad space then I want everyone who signed up to start on their own post highlighting their work, their personal rules, their own way of ordering with a form or not, and their own slots. I will not be the one in charge of slots and such.
Also, since this is again our first event thread let's experiment. If you would like to have your own theme in your post please execute it however you please. You can have just regular old Halloween or a witch theme, vampire theme, or something you made yourself.
I want to put the idea of an art shop into the pot of thoughts. I would discourage anything too expensive but if a shop is something that everyone would agree on I'd be happy to comply. The idea of two separate threads is also something to consider. I know that Twilly is an amazing artist who would do better with slower commission she could make something off but my arts are quickly made and not very good. XD She'd thrive in a shop where as I'd feel guilty if I charge people for my work.
If anyone has any ideas of their own, feel free to voice them!

I feel horrid asking people for money, particularly when I don't know if I can live up to expectations on time or quality. I'm going to look at doing doodles for now. Pencils sketches, and maybe.. MAYBE.. pen inked drawings. >_< my brother's getting married on the 1st, too, so I'll be slightly busy with that.

BUT TWILLY!!! Your work is so gorgeous and thoughtful! And with all the detailing you put into your art anybody would be lucky to even get any!
I think any artwork by your would go over greatly in a thread so I encourage doodles and sketches. biggrin
A wedding?! Give my wishes!! The guild is never first priority in your life. Maybe just on Gaia but the matrimony of your brother is first and foremost!!
My friend Risu just got Married. It was an odd wedding. The groom had a Transformers and Gundam cake, they had an Xbox set up at the reception hall, and the last song of the night was a remix of Never Gonna Give You Up and Smells Like Teen Spirit.

Theme! Instead of dressing characters up (as this is the entire point of Gaia), lets try to push the an idea of Candy. biggrin personally, I'd like to try to focus on incorporating a persona's favorite halloween treat into an image, myself. :3 Either.. dressed as it, buried in it, eating it.. seems like an idea.. i dunno. lemme know what you think.

That's a great idea!! That'd be a theme everyone could handle and all art seekers would love!! I love it!!! Now would you like that for the whole group or as a theme you want to use? I'd love the whole group to use it but if you want it for yourself I do encourage that as well! heart

It's getting to that time!
Everybody be sure to start perfecting and posting your post layouts in the test forum. If you want a good example take a gander at some of your favorite art shops! Coffeles has already made a gorgeous post and it's in the test thread for all to see!
